Highly selective electrosynthesis of 3,4-dihydroisoquinoline accompanied with hydrogen production over three-dimensional hollow CoNi-based microarray electrocatalysts

Electrocatalytic oxidation reaction of biomass-based derivatives is an excellent candidate to replace water oxidation for obtaining both value-added products and hydrogen(H_(2.),but the exploration of competent electrocatalysts is still highly ***,two new types of three-dimensional self-supported hollow microarrays containing CoNi layered double hydroxide(CoNi-LDH)and N-doped carbon nanosheets decorated with CoNi alloyed nanoparticles(CoNi-NC)on carbon cloth(CC)are prepared,which are further used as efficient electrocatalysts for tetrahydroisoquinoline(THIQ)electrooxidation and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),*** demonstrate that the Co-modulated electronic environment for Ni(II)/Ni(Ⅲ)redox-looping in CoNi-LDH is the main factor to boost the selectivity of 3,4-dihydroisoquinoline(DHIQ)for the indirect electrooxidation process of *** functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the Ni(Ⅲ)/Co(Ⅲ)dual sites of CoNi-LDH exhibit enhanced adsorption for THIQ but poorer adsorption for DHIQ compared to pure Co(Ⅲ)or Ni(Ⅲ).Therefore,the Ni(Ⅲ)/Co(Ⅲ)dual sites can effectively inhibit the peroxidation of DHIQ to isoquinoline(IQ)over CoNi-LDH,thus improving the selectivity of DHIQ to nearly 100%,much higher than that of its pure Ni ***,CC@CoNi-NC can deliver high HER activity with low overpotential(40 mV@10 mA·cm^(-2.)and high exchange current density(3.08 mA·cm^(-2.).Impressively,the assembled flow-cell device with CC@CoNi-LDH anode and CC@CoNi-NC cathode only requires low cell voltage and electricity consumption of 1.6 V and 3.50 kWh per cubic meter of H_(2.(@2. mA·cm^(-2.).

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are an attractive battery system because of similar characteristics to lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)and large Na element ***,exploring stable,high-capacity and high-rate anode materials for SIBs is still challenging ***,diethylenetriamine(DETA)molecular template derived ultrathin N-doped carbon(NC)layer decorated CoSe_(2.nanobelts(CoSe_(2./NC)are prepared by solvothermal reaction followed by calcination *** CoSe_(2./NC exhibits large potential as an anode for *** and theoretical calculations reveal that the in situ formed conductive ultrathin NC layer can not only relieve the volume change of CoSe_(2.but also accelerate electron and ion *** addition,the nanobelt structure of CoSe_(2./NC with abundant exposed active sites can obviously accelerate the electrochemical *** the synergistic effect of special nanobelt structure and NC layer,the rate as well as cycling performances of CoSe_(2./NC are obviously improved.A superior capacity retention of 94.8%is achieved at 2.A·g^(-1)after 2.00 *** using Na3V2.PO4)3 cathodes,the pouch full batteries can work steadily at 0.5 C,verifying the application ***_(2./NC anodes also exhibit impressive performances in LIBs and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).

The homogenous growth of Co-based coordination compound on graphene nanosheet for high-performance K-organic battery and its reaction mechanism

Metal coordination compounds(MCCs)are gaining popularity for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)owing to their tuneable structure,multiple reaction sites,low cost and unique ***,they are generally subjected to intrinsic features of the sluggish ionic diffusion coefficient,low electronic conductivity and slow ***,a new MCC material of cobalt-1,3,5-trioxy-2.4,6-triamino-benzo(Co-TB)coordination compound was synthesized and homogenously grown on the surface of graphene nanosheets(GNS),forming a Co-TB@GNS composite with enhanced electronic conductivity and flexible *** from the overall enhanced conductivity,high surface area and abundant activated K-storage sites,Co-TB@GNS electrodes have exhibited superior cycling performance with high reversible capacities(312.mAh·g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 100 mA·g^(-1),2.4 mAh·g^(-1)after 500 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1))and better rate performances compared with the pure Co-TB compound when served as PIB's ***,multiple in-situ measurement techniques have jointly confirmed that the organic functional groups(C=O,C=N and C=C of benzene rings)and Co^(2.)in Co-TB are the main reversible K-storage sites,including in-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and X-ray diffraction(XRD),and partial capacity contribution is originated from GNS by the apparent K-storage behavior in the in-situ XRD pattern,proving the possibility of K-storage for metal-organic materials.

Electrocatalysis provides an optimal approach for the conversion of carbon dioxide(CO_(2.)into high-value chemicals,thereby presenting a promising avenue toward achieve carbon ***,addressing the selectivity and stability challenges of metal catalysts in electrolytic reduction remains a daunting *** this study,the electrospinning method is employed to fabricate porous carbon nanofibers loaded with bismuth nanoparticles with the help of in situ *** porous carbon nanofibers as conductive support would facilitate the dispersion of bismuth active sites while inhibiting their aggregation and promoting the mass transfer,thus enhancing their electrocatalytic activity and ***,nitrogen doping induces electron delocalization in bismuth atoms through metal-support interactions,thus enabling efficient adsorption of intermediates for improving selectivity based on the theoretical ***,Bi@PCNF-500 exhibits the exceptional selectivity and stability across a wide range of potential ***,its faradaic efficiency(FE)of formate reaches 92.7%in H-cell and94.9%in flow cell,respectively,with good electrocatalytic *** in situ characterization and theoretical calculations elucidate the plausible reaction mechanism to obtain basic rules for designing efficient electrocatalyst.

Palladium-catalyzed vinylation of indoles with vinyl ethers via deoxygenative coupling

Indole is a promising heteroarene in many natural products and pharmaceuticals; therefore, various synthetic methods for indole functionalizations have arisen in recent years. Herein, we report a Pd-catalyzed deoxygenative coupling for the N-vinylation of indoles by employing vinyl ethers. The vinylated indoles could be readily prepared in good to excellent yields with N1-regioselectivity regardless of the electronic characteristics and substitution patterns of indole substrates. Some indole-based pharmaceutical molecules, such as gramine, evodiamine, rutaecarpine, and melatonine, are also successfully vinylated. Moreover, carbazoles and indazoles are shown to participate. Additionally, vinylated indole can readily transform into structurally interesting indole derivatives.

Spectroscopic and temperature sensing properties of Sm3+ in self-activated CsLu（WO4）2.phosphors

In this research,a series of Sm3+doped CsLu（WO4）2.hosphors was prepared via high temperature solid phase technique to design new red phosphors and optical thermometric *** structures,morphology,band gap and luminescence properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,diffuse reflection and luminescence spectra,*** UV excitation,CsLu（WO4）2.ives rise to a blue broad emission band between 350 and 700 nm,which stems from the3T1u→1A1gtransition of *** Sm3+is introduced into CsLu（WO4）2.energy transfer between WO66-groups and Sm3+ions takes place in CsLu（WO4）2.Sm3+phosphors,and color-tunable luminescence from blue to red is realized by controlling the Sm3+doping *** energy transfer efficiency between WO66-groups and Sm3+ons was analyzed,and the energy transfer mechanism was determined to be dipole-dipole *** to the temperature-dependent luminescence spectra,WO66-groups and Sm3+ions exhibit large discrepancy in thermal quenching rates,and thus the temperature sensing properties of CsLu（WO4）2.Sm3+in the temperature range of 2.3-403 K were *** on the framework of fluorescence intensity ratio theory,the basic optical thermometry parameters including absolute and relative sensitivity of CsLu（WO4）2.Sm3+we re calculated and the results show that it has great potential for application in optical thermometry.

Slow magnetic relaxation behaviors and diamagnetic dilution studies of a carboxyl bridged dinuclear dysprosium(Ⅲ) complex

By using a rigid bulky carboxylic ligand a-cyanocinnamic acid（CCA）,a dinuclear dysprosium（Ⅲ） complex [Dy2.CCA）6（MeOH）4]（1） was *** crystal X-ray crystallography reveals that the two eight-coordinate dysprosium ions are bridged by four deprotonated carboxyl groups,forming a centrosymmetric paddle-wheel-1ike *** magnetic property measurements indicate that complex 1 displays field-induced slow magnetic *** temperature-dependent relaxation times can be fitted using Orbach and Raman processes with parameters of n=2.8（2.,C=2.（8） s-1/K~n,τ0=5（2. × 10-10s and Ueff=40（3） *** studies on the diamagnetic YⅢ-diluted analogue[Dy0.2.6Y1.794（CCA）6（MeOH）4]（2. reveal its slow magnetic relaxation behavior without external dc field and the antiferromagnetic coupling between the DyⅢions in *** on the obtained relaxation times of 2.ead to the parameters of n=4.5（3）,C=0.7（2. s-1/K~n,τ0=2.8（2. × 10-9s and Ueff=38（2. *** results suggest that slow magnetic relaxation originates from the single-ion relaxation of DyⅢ***,the diamagnetic dilution can suppress other fast relaxation pathways at low temperature,on account of the elimination of magnetic coupling and dipolar *** initio calculations were then performed on the single DyⅢion species {YDy} and indicate that the first excited Kramers doublets（KDs）lie at ca.76 cm-1,which is slightly higher than the experimental *** intramolecular magnetic interactions were also calculated and indicate a weak ferromagnetic dipole-diploe magnetic interaction and an antiferromagnetic exchange coupling.
