■ Cross Sections and the Λc+ Electromagnetic Form Factors within the Extended Vector Meson Dominance Model

Within the extended vector meson dominance model, we investigate the ■reaction and the electromagnetic form factors of the charmed baryon Λc+. The model parameters are determined by fitting them to the cross sections of the process ■ and the magnetic form factor |GM| of Λc+. By considering four charmonium-like states, called ψ(4500), ψ(4660), ψ(4790), and ψ(4900), we can well describe the current data on the ■reaction from the reaction threshold up to 4.96 GeV. In addition to the total cross sections and |GM|, the ratio |GE/GM| and the effective form factor |Geff| for Λc+are also calculated, and found that these calculations are consistent with the experimental data. Within the fitted model parameters, we have also estimated the charge radius of the charmed Λc+baryon.

We present a novel method for investigating laser-driven dynamic fragmentation in tin using in situ X-ray *** experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the method for simultaneously identifying the phase and temperature of fragments through analysis of the diffraction ***,we observe a deviation from the widely accepted isentropic release assumption,with the temperature of the fragments being found to be more than 100 K higher than expected,owing to the release of plastic work during dynamic *** findings are further verified through extensive large-scale molecular dynamics simulations,in which strain energies are found to be transferred into thermal energies during the nucleation and growth of voids,leading to an increase in *** findings thus provide crucial insights into the impact-driven dynamic fragmentation phenomenon and reveal the significant influence of plastic work on material response during shock release.

In recent years,heavy ion accelerator technology has been rapidly developing worldwide and widely applied in the fields of space radiation simulation and particle ***,a very high uniformity in the irradiation area is required for the extracted ion beams,which is crucial because it directly affects the experimental precision and therapeutic ***,ultra-large-area and high-uniformity scanning are crucial requirements for spacecraft radiation effects assessment and serve as core specification for beamline terminal *** the 300 MeV proton and heavy ion accelerator complex at the Space Environment Simulation and Research Infrastructure(SESRI),proton and heavy ion beams will be accelerated and ultimately delivered to three irradiation *** order to achieve the required large irradiation area of 32. mm×32. mm,horizontal and vertical scanning magnets are used in the extraction beam ***,considering the various requirements for beam species and energies,the tracking accuracy of power supplies(PSs),the eddy current effect of scanning magnets,and the fluctuation of ion bunch structure will reduce the irradiation *** mitigate these effects,a beam uniformity optimization method based on the measured beam distribution was proposed and applied in the accelerator complex at *** the experiment,the uniformity is successfully optimized from 75%to over 90%after five iterations of adjustment to the PS *** this paper,the method and experimental results were introduced.

Non-centrosymmetric topological material has atracted intense atention due to its superior characteristics as compared with the centrosymmetric one, although probing the local quantum geometry in non-centrosymmetric topological material remains challenging. The non-linear Hall（NLH） effect provides an ideal tool to investigate the local quantum geometry. Here, we report a non-centrosymmetric topological phase in ZrTe5, probed by using the NLH effect. The angle-resolved and temperature-dependent NLH measurement reveals the inversion and ab-plane mirror symmetries breaking at <30 K, consistently with our theoretical calculation. Our findings identify a new non-centrosymmetric phase of ZrTe5and provide a platform to probe and control local quantum geometry via crystal symmetries.

Estimating the yield stress of soft materials via laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy

Taking three typical soft samples prepared respectively by loose packings of 77-,95-,and 109-μm copper grains as examples,we perform an experiment to investigate the energy-dependent laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS)of soft *** discovered a reversal phenomenon in the trend of energy dependence of plasma emission intensity:increasing initially and then decreasing separated by a well-defined critical *** trend reversal is attributed to the laser-induced recoil pressure at the critical energy just matching the sample's yield *** a result,a one-to-one correspondence can be well established between the samples'yield stress and the critical energy that is easily obtainable from LIBS *** allows us to propose an innovative method for estimating the yield stress of soft materials via LIBS with attractive advantages including in-situ remote detection,real-time data collection,and minimal destructive to sample.

Two-dimensional diagnosis of laser-induced zirconium(Zr)plasma has been experimentally performed using the time-of-flight method by employing Faraday cups in addition to electric and magnetic *** characteristic parameters of laser-induced Zr plasma have been evaluated as a function of different laser irradiances ranging from 4.5 to 11.7 GW cm-2.at different axial positions of 1–4 cm with a fixed radial distance of 2.cm.A well-supporting correlation between the plume parameters and the laser-plasma-produced spontaneous electric and magnetic(E and B)fields was *** measurements of the characteristic parameters and spontaneously induced fields were observed to have an increasing trend with the increasing laser ***,when increasing the spatial distance in both the axial and radial directions,the plasma parameters(electron/ion number density,temperature and kinetic energy)did not show either continuously increasing or decreasing trends due to various kinetic and dynamic processes during the spatial evolution of the ***,the E and B fields were observed to be always diffusing away from the *** radial component of electron number densities remained higher than the axial number density component,whereas the axial ion number density at all laser irradiances and axial distances remained higher than the radial ion number *** higher axial self-generated electric field(SGEF)values than radial SGEF values are correlated with the effective charge-separation mechanism of electrons and *** generation of a self-generated magnetic field is observed dominantly in the radial direction at increasing laser irradiance as compared to the axial one due to the deflection of fast-moving electrons and the persistence of two-electron temperature on the radial axis.

The role of the delta isobar degrees of freedom in nucleon–nucleon scattering is *** attempt to understand why the dimensionally regularized two-pion exchanges with the explicit delta isobar is much stronger than the ones with spectral function *** the cutoff value of spectral function regularization is varied,the isoscalar central component exhibits a rather large cut-off *** reveals a surprisingly large numerical factor of the deltaful two-pion exchange *** power counting is adjusted accordingly and we discuss the results and how to improve upon this finding.

In this study,we investigate the pseudospectrum and spectrum(in)stability of quantum corrected Schwarzschild black ***,we use the hyperboloidal framework to cast the quasinormal mode(QNM)problem into an eigenvalue problem associated with a non-selfadjoint operator,and then the spectrum and pseudospectrum are ***,the invariant subspace method is exploited to improve the computational efficiency for *** investigation into the spectrum(in)stability entails two main *** the one hand,we calculate the spectra of the quantum corrected black hole,then by the means of the migration ratio,the impact of the quantum correction effect on the Schwarzschild black hole has been *** results indicate that the so-called“migration ratio instability”will occur for small black holes with small angular momentum number *** the eikonal limit,the migration ratios remain the same for each *** the other hand,we study the spectrum(in)stability of the quantum corrected black hole by directly adding some particular perturbations into the effective potential,where perturbations are located at the event horizon and null infinity,*** are two interesting observations under the same perturbation energy ***,perturbations at infinity are more capable of generating spectrum instability than those at the event ***,we find that the peak distribution can lead to the instability of QNM spectrum more efficiently than the average distribution.
