Thermodynamic phase transition and winding number for the third-order Lovelock black hole

Phase transition is important for understanding the nature and evolution of the black hole thermodynamic *** this study,we predicted the phase transition of the third-order Lovelock black hole using the winding numbers in complex analysis,and qualitatively validated this prediction by the generalized free *** the 72.dimensional black holes in hyperbolic topology and the 7-dimensional black hole in spherical topology,the winding number obtained is three,which indicates that the system undergoes first-order and second-order phase *** the 72.dimensional black holes in spherical topology,the winding number is four,and two scenarios of phase transitions exist,one involving a purely second-order phase transition and the other involving simultaneous first-order and second-order phase *** result further deepens the research on black hole phase transitions using the complex analysis.

Accurate and reliable nuclear decay databases are essential for fundamental and applied nuclear research ***,decay data are not usually as accurate as expected and need ***,a new Chinese nuclear decay database in the fission product mass region(A=66−172.based on several major national evaluated data libraries has been developed under joint efforts in the CNDC working group.A total of 2.58 nuclides have been included in this decay *** main data formats,namely ENSDF and ENDF,have been *** the total meanβandγenergies,available data from total absorption gamma ray spectroscopy measurements have been *** some nuclides without experimental measurements,theoretically calculated values have been added.

Tuning of the magnetic interaction plays the vital role in reducing the clustering of magnetic dopant in diluted magnetic semiconductors(DMS).Due to the not well understood magnetic mechanism and the interplay between different magnetic mechanisms,no efficient and universal tuning strategy is proposed at ***,the magnetic interactions and formation energies of isovalent-doped(Mn) and aliovalent(Cr)-doped LiZnAs are studied based on density functional theory(DFT).It is found that the dopant–dopant distance-dependent magnetic interaction is highly sensitive to the carrier concentration and carrier type and can only be explained by the interplay between two magnetic mechanisms,i.e.,superexchange and Zener’s p–d exchange ***,the magnetic behavior and clustering of magnetic dopant can be tuned by the interplay between two magnetic *** insensitivity of the tuning effect to U parameter suggests that our strategy could be universal to other DMS.

The standard model of modern cosmology might be cracked by the recent persistent hot debate on the Hubble-constant（H0） tension, which manifests itself as the sound-horizon（rs） tension or absolute-magnitude（MB） tension if deeming the origin of the Hubble tension from modifying the early or late Universe, respectively. In this study, we achieve a fully model-independent constraint（fitting a model-independent global parameterization to a model-independent inverse distant ladder with a modelindependent high-redshift calibration） on late-time models with strong evidence against homogeneous new physics over theΛ-cold-dark-matter（ΛCDM） model. Further using this model-independent constraint to calibrate sufficiently local supernovae with corresponding late-time models extrapolated below the homogeneity scale, we find surprisingly that, although both H0tension and MB tension are absent in our local Universe, a combination of H0and MBas the intercept a B of the magnitude-redshift relation exhibits 3 ～ 7σ tension even for the ΛCDM model. This aBtension seems to call for local-scale inhomogeneous new physics disguised as local observational systematics.

This study endeavors to develop an improved set of basis functions for nuclear shell-model calculations. The shell model, a well-established approach to understanding nuclear structure,typically employs the harmonic oscillator potential within the mean-field approximation. Given the extensive validation and consistency of harmonic oscillator results with experimental data,we propose a modification by incorporating a centrifugal term that converges toward the Davidson potential. This potential has been extensively studied, and we aim to extract relevant experimental data for the simplest cases in the shell model, namely one-particle and one-hole nuclei. A comprehensive comparison between the Davidson-based results and the harmonic oscillator calculations is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new basis functions.

Recently,a new excited baryon state,Ω(2.12.,was observed in the invariant mass spectra of𝐾K^(-)■^(0) and K_(S)^(0)■^(-)by the Belle *** state has a narrow width(∼6 MeV)compared to other baryon states with a similar ***,we provide a mini-review on the Ω(2.12.state from the molecular perspective,where it appears to be a dynamically generated state with spin-parity 3/2.(−)from the coupled-channels interactions of the K■(1530)and ηΩ in s-wave and K■ in𝑑***,alternative explanations for the Ω(2.12.resonance are also discussed.

We study the nonlinear stage of modulation instability(MI) in the non-intergrable pure-quartic nonlinear Schr?dinger equation where the fourth-order dispersion is modulated periodically. Using the three-mode truncation, we reveal the complex recurrence of parametric resonance(PR) breathers, where each recurrence is associated with two oscillation periods(PR period and internal oscillation period). The nonlinear stage of parametric instability admits the maximum energy exchange between the spectrum sidebands and central mode occurring outside the MI gain band.
