The main aim of the present work is to investigate the flow and heat transport properties of non-Newtonian Casson-Williamson fluid through an upright microchannel along with entropy generation analysis,and explore the effects of convective boundary conditions,Couette-Poiseuille flow,and nonlinear *** movement of liquid is scrutinized with the Hall effect and exponential heat *** rheological characteristics of the Casson-Williamson fluid model are also *** considering the desirable similarity variables,the equations of motion are reduced to nonlinear ordinary differential *** Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg fourth-fifth order method along with the shooting method is adopted to solve these dimensionless *** detailed investigation is pictorially displayed to show the influence of effective parameters on the entropy generation and the Bejan *** of the major tasks of the exploration is to compare the Casson fluid and the Williamson *** results show that the rate of heat transfer in the Casson fluid is more remarkable than that in the Williamson fluid.

Somatic cell nuclear transfer(SCNT)and parthenogenesis are alternative forms of reproduction and development,building new life cycles on differentiated somatic cell nuclei and duplicated maternal chromatin,*** thepreceding paper(Sun F,et al.,Cell Res 2007;17:117-134.),we showed that an"erase-and-rebuild"strategy is used innormal development to transform the maternal gene expression profile to a zygotic ***,we investigate if the samestrategy also applies to SCNT and *** relationship between chromatin and chromatin factors(CFs)during SCNT and parthenogenesis was examined using immunochemical and GFP-fusion protein *** fromthese studies indicated that soon after nuclear transfer,a majority of CFs dissociated from somatic nuclei and were re-distributed to the cytoplasm of the *** erasure process in oogenesis is recaptured during the initial phase in *** CFs entered pseudo-pronuclei shortly after their *** parthenogenesis,all parthenogenotes underwentnormal oogenesis,and thus had removed most CFs from chromosomes before the initiation of *** CFswere subsequently re-associated with female pronuclei in time and sequence similar to that in fertilized *** these data,we conclude that the"erase-and-rebuild"process observed in normal development also occurs in SCNTand in parthenogenesis,albeit in altered *** process is responsible for transcription reprogramming in ***"erase"process in SCNT is compressed and the efficiency is compromised,which likely contribute tothe developmental defects often observed in nuclear transfer(nt)***,results from this study indicatedthat the cytoplasm of an egg contains most,if not all,essential components for assembling the zygotic program and canassemble them onto appropriate diploid chromatin of distinct origins.

studies in recent years have shown that aquatic pollution by microplastics(MPs)can be considered to pose additional stress to amphibian ***,our knowledge of how MPs affect amphibians is very rudimentary,and even more limited is our understanding of their effects in combination with other emerging ***,we aimed to evaluate the possible toxicity of polyethylene MPs(PE-MPs)(alone or in combination with a mix of pollutants)on the health of Physalaemus cuvieri *** 30 days of exposure,multiple biomarkers were measured,including morphological,biometric,and developmental indices,behavioral parameters,mutagenicity,cytotoxicity,antioxidant and cholinesterase responses,as well as the uptake and accumulation of PE-MPs in *** on the results,there was no significant change in any of the parameters measured in tadpoles exposed to treatments,but induced stress was observed in tadpoles exposed to PE-MPs combined with themixture of pollutants,reflecting significant changes in physiological and biochemical *** principal component analysis(PCA)and integrated biomarker response(IBR)assessment,effects induced by pollutants in each test group were distinguished,confirming that the exposure of *** tadpoles to the PE-MPs in combination with a mix of emerging pollutants induces an enhanced stress response,although the uptake and accumulation of PE-MPs in these animalswas ***,our study provides newinsight into the danger to amphibians of MPs coexisting with other pollutants in aquatic environments.

The increasing prevalence of obesity is alarming because it is a risk factor for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases(such as type 2 diabetes). The occurrence of these comorbidities in obese patients can arise from white adipose tissue(WAT) dysfunctions, which affect metabolism, insulin sensitivity and promote local and systemic inflammation. In mammals, WAT depots at different anatomical locations(subcutaneous, preperitoneal and visceral) are highly heterogeneous in their morpho-phenotypic profiles and contribute differently to homeostasis and obesity development, depending on their ability to trigger and modulate WAT inflammation. This heterogeneity is likely due to the differential behavior of cells from each depot. Numerous studies suggest that adiposederived stem/stromal cells(ASC; referred to as adipose progenitor cells, in vivo)with depot-specific gene expression profiles and adipogenic and immunomodulatory potentials are keys for the establishment of the morphofunctional heterogeneity between WAT depots, as well as for the development of depot-specific responses to metabolic challenges. In this review, we discuss depot-specific ASC properties and how they can contribute to the pathophysiology of obesity and metabolic disorders, to provide guidance for researchers and clinicians in the development of ASC-based therapeutic approaches.

Brazil is the largest coffee exporter in the world. In addition, it occupies the second position, among the consuming countries of the drink. To investigate the chemical composition and quality of the coffee drink from Coffea arabica species, samples grown in the city of Ourinhos, the third most productive region in the state of Sao Paulo, a study of its properties and characteristics was conducted. The pharmacobotanical characteristics were investigated performed according to usual techniques in these researches through macroscopic and microscopic studies through cross-sections. The oil obtained for analysis was extracted by soxhlet, and the caffeine content was measured for green grains using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) using as stationary phase, column C18 and gradient mobile phase formed by 80% water and 20% methanol. The concentration obtained was 44.983 ± 0.86 μg/mL. The antioxidant activity was measured in triplicate through the DPPH test of the in natura coffee oil, and presented antioxidant action of EC50 25.89 ± 1.16 μg/mL.
