Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites have gained great attention as promising photocatalysts for hydrogen ***,due to their poor stability in water,the use of aqueous hydrohalic acid solutions is specifically required for an efficient hydrogen ***,three novel photoactive lead-free hybrid perovskites based on bismuth and triazolium cations(denoted as IEf-15,IEf-16,and IEf-17(IEf stands for IMdeA energy frameworks))were synthesized and fully characterized(structural,compositional,optical,etc.).further,these solids were proposed as photocatalysts for the challenging gas phase overall water splitting(OWs)***,IEf-16 thin films exhibited a remarkable photocatalytic activity in both H_(2) and O_(2) evolution,as a consequence of its appropriate bandgap and energy-band alignment,achieving hydrogen evolution rates ofμmol·g_(H_(2))^(-)1846 and 360 after 24 h under ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)irradiation or simulated solar irradiation,*** study additionally highlights the remarkable structural and photochemical stability of IEf-16 under different operational conditions(*** volume,irradiation and temperature),paving the way for green hydrogen production from OWs using perovskite-based photocatalysts.

Marine biofouling seriously affects human marine exploitation and transportation activities, to which marine antifouling(Af) coatings are considered to be the most cost-effective solution. since the mid-20th century, human beings have dedicated their efforts on developing Af coatings with long cycle and high performance, leading to a large number of non-target organisms? distortion, death and marine environmental pollution. Polydimethylsiloxane(PDMs), is considered as one of the representative environment-friendly Af materials thanks to its non-toxic, hydrophobic, low surface energy and Af properties. However, PDMs Af coatings are prone to mechanical damage, weak adhesion strength to substrate, and poor static Af effect, which seriously restrict their use in the ocean. The rapid development of various nanomaterials provides an opportunity to enhance and improve the mechanical properties and antifouling properties of PDMs coating by embedding *** on our research background and the problems faced in our laboratory, this article presents an overview of the current progress in the fields of PDMs composite coatings enhanced by different nanomaterials, with the discussion focused on the advantages and main bottlenecks currently encountered in this field. finally, we propose an outlook, hoping to provide fundamental guidance for the development of marine Af field.

star clusters were historically considered simple stellar populations,with all stars sharing the same age and initial chemical ***,the presence of chemical anomalies in globular clusters(GCs),called multiple stellar populations(MPs),has challenged star formation theories in dense *** studies show that mass,metallicity,and age are likely controlling parameters for the manifestation of *** the limit between clusters with/without MPs in physical parameter space is crucial to reveal the driving mechanism behind their *** this study,we look for MP signals in Whiting 1,which is traditionally considered a young *** the Magellan telescope,we obtained low-resolution spectra withinλλ=3850-5500?for eight giants of Whiting *** measured the C and N abundances from the CN and CH spectral indices.C and N abundances have variations comparable with their measurement errors(~0.1 dex),suggesting that MPs are absent from Whiting *** these findings with literature studies,we propose a limit in the metallicity *** compactness index parameter space,which relatively clearly separates star clusters with/without MPs(GCs/open clusters).This limit is physically *** a larger scale,the galactic environment determines cluster compactness and metallicity,leading to metal-rich,diffuse,old clusters formed ex *** proposed limit also impacts our understanding of the formation of the sagittarius dwarf galaxy:star clusters formed after the first starburst(age≤8-10 Gyr).These clusters are simple stellar populations because the enriched galactic environment is no longer suitable for MP formation.

In this study,we investigated the anomalous Chromomagnetic Dipole Moment(CMDM),denoted as μ_(q)^(BLHM),of light quarks q=(u,c,d,s,b) within the framework of the Bestest Little Higgs Model(BLHM)as an extension of the standard Model(sM).Our investigation encompassed novel interactions among the light quarks,heavy quark B,and heavy bosons (W'^(±),H^(±),φ^(±),η^(±))incorporating the extended Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa(CKM)matrix characteristic of the *** thoroughly explored the permissible parameter space,yielding a spectrum of CMDM values ranging from 10^(-10) to 10^(-3).

A multi-shot target wheel assembly for high-repetition-rate, laser-driven proton acceleration

A multi-shot target assembly and automatic alignment procedure for laser–plasma proton acceleration at high repetition rate are introduced. The assembly is based on a multi-target rotating wheel capable of hosting more than 5000 targets,mounted on a 3D motorized stage to allow rapid replenishment and alignment of the target material between laser irradiations. The automatic alignment procedure consists of a detailed mapping of the impact positions at the target surface prior to the irradiation that ensures stable operation of the target, which alongside the purpose-built design of the target wheel, enables operation at rates up to 10 Hz. stable and continuous laser-driven proton acceleration at 10 Hz is demonstrated, with observed cut-off energy stability about 15%.

The complete and incomplete fusion cross sections for ^(6)Li+^(209)Bi were measured using the in-beamγ-ray method around the Coulomb *** cross sections of(deuteron captured)incomplete fusion(ICf)products were re-quantified experimentally for this reaction *** results reveal that the ICf cross section is equivalent to that of complete fusion(Cf)above the Coulomb barrier and dominant near or below the Coulomb barrier.A theoretical calculation based on the continuum discretized coupled channel(CDCC)method was performed for the aforementioned Cf and ICf cross sections;the result is consistent with the *** universal fusion function(Uff)was also compared with the measured Cf cross section for different barrier parameters,demonstrating that the Cf suppression factor is significantly influenced by the choice of potential,which can reflect both dynamic and static effects of breakup on the fusion process.
