Egyptian species of the leafhopper genus Exitianus Ball,1929,***(St?l,1855),***(Distant,1908),and *** Ross,1968 are ***,morphological descriptions,and a key for their identification are *** this study,we used molecular techniques to confirm morphological identification and detect phylogeny among the three Exitianus *** partial nucleotide sequences of the amplified products obtained were determined by Macrogen *** nucleotide sequences of 28S rDNA and COX genes of the EGY-ARC-9,EGY-ARC-4,and EGY-ARC-5 were determined by Macrogen Korea,blasted into BLAST at the National Center for Biotechnology Information website(NCBI)and compared with those deposited in the GenBank DNA *** results represented the homology percentage between the partial sequences of the 28S rRNA and COX genes from each species and related species obtained from GenBank DNA *** morphological identifications of the three Exitianus species were confirmed by molecular characterization and sequencing of 28S rDNA and COX genes and identified as ***,***,and ***,their sequences of 28srDNA and COX genes were deposited in GenBank with an accession number(LC670610,LC670607,and OQ196105)for 28srDNA gene and(LC775357,LC775358,and LC775359)for the COX gene.

Drought stress is a major factor affecting plant growth and crop yield *** extracts as natural biostimulants hold great potential to strengthen plants to overcome drought *** explore the effect of Polygonum minus extract(PME)in enhancing drought tolerance in plants,a study was set up in a glasshouse environment using 10 different treatment *** foliar application were designed in CRD and effects were closely observed related to the growth,physiology,and antioxidant system changes in maize(Zea mays L.)under well-watered and drought *** seaweed extract(SWE)was used as a *** subjected to drought stress exhibited a significant reduction in fresh weight,dry weight,relative water content(RWC),and soluble sugar,but they stimulated the phenolic,flavonoid,proline,glutathione(GSH),malondialdehyde(MDA)and antioxidant enzyme(catalase,CAT;peroxidase,POD;superoxide dismutase,SOD)*** application of PME improved fresh and dry weight(FW:33.1%~41.4%;DW:48.0%~43.1%),chlorophyll content(Chl b:87.9%~100.76%),soluble sugar(23.6%~49.3%),and soluble protein(48.6%~56.9%)as well as antioxidant enzyme activities(CAT and POD)compared to CK under drought *** decreasing the level of ***,the mitigating effect of PME application with high concentration was more effective than those of *** study reveals that PME could alleviate drought stress by regulating osmoprotectant content and antioxidant defense system and can be used as an economical and environmentally friendly biostimulants for promoting maize growth under drought stress.

Federated learning effectively addresses issues such as data privacy by collaborating across participating devices to train global ***,factors such as network topology and computing power of devices can affect its training or communication process in complex network *** and network convergence(CNC)of sixth-generation(6G)networks,a new network architecture and paradigm with computing-measurable,perceptible,distributable,dispatchable,and manageable capabilities,can effectively support federated learning training and improve its communication *** guiding the participating devices'training in federated learning based on business requirements,resource load,network conditions,and computing power of devices,CNC can reach this *** this paper,to improve the communication eficiency of federated learning in complex networks,we study the communication eficiency optimization methods of federated learning for CNC of 6G networks that give decisions on the training process for different network conditions and computing power of participating *** simulations address two architectures that exist for devices in federated learning and arrange devices to participate in training based on arithmetic power while achieving optimization of communication efficiency in the process of transferring model *** results show that the methods we proposed can cope well with complex network situations,effectively balance the delay distribution of participating devices for local training,improve the communication eficiency during the transfer of model parameters,and improve the resource utilization in the network.

Selenium(Se)-enriched Brassica napus *** a valuable organic Se *** this study,the fermentation broth enriched with organic Se(FFS)was prepared using Lactobacillus plantarum to ferment the substrate of Se-enriched Brassica napus *** increases were observed after fermentation in total sugars,reducing sugars,soluble proteins,total phenolic content(TPC),and total flavonoid content(TFC).The organic Se was retained at a concentration of 54.75 mg/g in the freeze-dried *** component analysis and cluster analysis showed good separation between the FFS and unfermented(FS)*** 2-ethyloxetane had the highest content among all volatiles,while sinapine had the highest content among all phenolic *** fermentation process showed remarkable improvement in the abundance and concentration of volatile compounds and phenolic contents,making FFS exhibit strong antioxidant activity and inhibitory capacity againstα-glucosidase *** bioaccessibility of phenolic compounds was significantly greater in FFS compared to *** analysis revealed that the majority of phenolic compounds contained in FFS did not exhibit mutagenicity toxicity,hepatotoxicity,skin sensitization,or blood-brain barrier penetration,indicating a favorable level of ***,our study provides a new insight into the further utilization of Se-enriched Brassica napus *** foods.

The laboratory lightning test is essential for assessing the effectiveness of lightning strike protection(LSP).Particularly,direct lightning strike damage can be performed with pulsed current injection into the *** paper focuses on the dynamic process of arc plasma and shock wave behaviour in the vicinity of the‘strike’point.A rod-plate discharge load is built for testing aluminium and coated plate under 40-kA-level pulsed *** visualisation of the luminous discharge plasma and its flow field via high-speed photography(from different angles)is meticulously designed and implemented,synchronised with electro-physical *** results indicate some new mechanisms for lightning strike damage,apart from the impulse heat loading from the thermal *** transient current injection through the arc root concentrates on a thin skin layer(skin-depth effect),with the radial-attenuated current density,driving asynchronously electrical explosions on the plate *** inhomogeneous Joule heating of the plate leads to outwardly propagating phase transition and shock wave along the conductive *** addition,the electro-thermal instability is observed and regarded as the seed of irregular erosion *** information reveals two different plasma states of main discharge arc channel and adjacent surface electrical *** correspondence of the physical mechanism of electrical explosion and optical radiation is *** images for different regions depict erosion characteristics and summarise influencing factors,further confirming the mechanism *** research clarifies the role of skin-depth effect in transaction arc erosion for electrode,complements the electrical explosion theory with unevenly distributed current and helps optimise strategies of LSP.

The distinctive intrinsic heat treatment(IHT)originating from cyclic reheating in the laser-directed energy deposition(LDED) has attracted growing attention in recent *** this investigation,simulations and experimental characterizations were performed to examine the impact of IHT on the micros true ture and mechanical properties of LDED-fabricated CrCoNi medium-entropy alloy(MEA).The results show that the intensity of the IHT is proportional to the utilized laser energy density(LED).As the LED increased,significant dynamic recrystallization and grain refinement occurred within the alloy due to the enhanced intensity of ***,the high LED leads to severe hot cracking within the as-built MEA,resulting in inferior *** decreasing LED,the hot cracking was effectively ***,low LED weakened the intensity of IHT and consequently inhibited kinetic conditions of dynamic recrystallization,resulting in a heterogeneous grain structure characterized by multi-scale-sized *** structure provides significant hetero-deformation-induced hardening during plastic deformation,enabling the alloy to have a sustainable work-hardening *** expect that this work will have implications in taking full advantage of the unique IHT of the LDED process to fabricate ME As with excellent metallurgical quality and mechanical performance.

Obesity is associated with numerous metabolic disorders,and dietary polyphenols have been confirmed to have beneficial effects on the metabolism in ***,the effect of 3-(3’,4’-dihydroxyphenyl)propanoic acid(DHPA)and 3’,4’-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid(DHAA),two main metabolites of dietary polyphenols,on obesity remains poorly *** this study,DHPA and DHAA were found to alleviate obesity,as well as regulate insulin resistance,lipid metabolism,and oxidative stress response in high-fat diet(HFD)***,the 16S rRNA sequencing and UHPLC-Q-TOF/MS demonstrated that DHPA and DHAA only slightly disturbed the intestinal microbiome,but significantly altered the urine metabolome of HFD mice mainly by regulating pentose and glucuronate interconversion,tyrosine metabolism,pentose phosphate and tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle as indicated by metabolic pathway analysis based on Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)*** analysis revealed that the differential metabolites are strongly associated with body weight,blood glucose,insulin level,and superoxide dismutase(SOD)enzyme *** results revealed that DHPA and DHAA exert their anti-obesity effect by regulating important metabolites in the glucose,lipid and tyrosine metabolism pathways.

Development and Catalytic Cracking Performance of Ultrastable Y Zeolite Rich in Secondary Pores

A novel ultra-stable zeolite, NSZ, rich in secondary pores was developed through the combination of gas-phase andmild hydrothermal methods. This zeolite was successfully tested in an industrial setting for the first time in the world. The porestructure characteristics of the NSZ zeolite prepared for industrial use were analyzed and characterized using BET. The resultsindicate a significant increase in the secondary pore volume of NSZ zeolite compared to the existing ultra-stable zeolite HSZ-5, which is produced through a conventional gas-phase method. The average secondary pore volume to total pore volume ratioin NSZ zeolite was found to be 58.96% higher. The catalytic cracking performance of NSZ zeolite was evaluated. The resultsshowed that the NSC-LTA catalyst, with NSZ as the active component, outperformed the HSC-LTA catalyst with HSZ-5 zeolitein terms of obtaining more high-value products (gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas) during the hydrogenated light cycle oilprocessing. Additionally, the NSC-LTA catalyst showed a significant improvement in coke selectivity.

This study examines the microstructure,mechanical properties （with a focus on room-temperature toughness）, and oxidation resistance of Ho-doped NbDSi based in-situ composites. The base alloy consists of the coarse primary Nb5Si3phase and the Nb5Si3+Nbss （Nb solid solution） eutectic cells. Ho doping influences the solidification path. When the Ho doping is higher than0.2 at%, the alloys transform into eutectic alloys. Ho can be solid-solved in trace amounts in the Nbss phase. However, most of Ho forms a stable Ho oxide phase, which alleviates oxygen contamination problem to some ***, the interface separation between Ho oxide and other phases reduces the plastic deformation ***, with 0.4 at%Ho doping, the KQvalue is18.03 MPa·m1/2, which is 31.1%higher than that of the base alloy. The strength of the Ho-doped alloys does not deteriorate with an increase in toughness. However, the large network-like Ho2O3in the 0.8Ho alloy causes a decrease in toughness and strength. In addition, the Ho oxide phase effectively blocks the inward oxygen *** 0.8 at%Ho doping, the oxidation mass gain per unit area is 10.16 mg·cm2, which is 39.7%lower than that of the base alloy.

Impact bruise damage and quality of‘Gim Ju’guava were investigated for different drop heights and number of drops using fractal image *** the impact test,a stainless-steel metal ball(250 g)was dropped on fruit from three drop heights(0,0.3,0.6 m)either once or five *** quality was evaluated for impact energy,bruise area(BA),bruise volume(BV),bruise susceptibility,bruise score and pulp color(L*,a*,b*and C values).The fractal dimension(FD)value using fractal image analysis was analyzed at the bruise *** showed that five drops(0.3 m)with a high impact energy(3678.75 J)and a single drop(0.6 m)with a low impact energy(1471.50 J)exhibited no significant in BA,BV,bruise score as well as all color values(L*,a*,b*and C).While the FD value of a single drop from 0.6 m had a higher FD value than that of five drops from 0.3 *** is indicated that FD exhibited a better performance to classify impact bruising level of guava than BA,BV and color *** FD value gradually decreased with increase of storage time and bruise *** correlation coefficient(r)values of FD(r=−0.794 and−0.745)between BA and BV were more significant than those L*(r=−0.660 and−0.615)and a*(r=0.579 and 0.473).The coefficient of determination(R^(2))of the polynomial equation in bruised fruit(R^(2)=0.85 to 0.99)was greater than the control(no bruise)(R^(2)=0.80).A higher R^(2)val(0.88 and 0.92)was exhibited at five ***,FD analysis showed greater potential than color measurement to assess bruise impact damage in guava.
