Multiphase microfluidic has emerged as a powerful platform to produce novel materials with tailor-designed functionalities, as microfluidic fabrication provides precise controls over the size, component, and structure of resultant materials. Recently, functional materials with welldefined micro-/nanostructures fabricated by microfluidics find important applications as environmental and energy materials. This review first illustrated in detail how different structures or shapes of droplet and jet templates are formed by typical configurations of microfluidic channel networks and multiphase flow systems. Subsequently, recent progresses on several representative energy and environmental applications, such as water purification, water collecting and energy storage, were overviewed. Finally, it is envisioned that integrating microfluidics and other novel materials will play increasing important role in contributing environmental remediation and energy storage in near future.

Two-dimensional(2D)molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))holds great potential for various applications such as electronic devices,catalysis,lubrication,anti-corrosion and so *** evaporation is a versatile thin film deposition technique,however,the conventional thermal evaporation techniques face challenges in producing uniform thin films of MoS_(2) due to its high melting temperature of 1.75℃.As a result,only thick and rough MoS_(2) films can be obtained using these *** address this issue,we have designed a vacuum thermal evaporation system specifically for large-scale preparation of MoS_(2) thin *** using K2MoS4 as the precursor,we achieved reliable deposition of uniform polycrystalline MoS_(2) thin films with a size of 50 mm×50 mm and controllable thickness ranging from 0.8 to 2.4 *** approach also allows for patterned deposition of MoS_(2) using shadow masks and sequential deposition of MoS_(2) and tungsten disulfide(WS_(2)),similar to conventional thermal evaporation ***,we have demonstrated the potential applications of the obtained MoS_(2) thin films in field effect transistors(FETs),memristors and electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).

Automation advancements prompts the extensive integration of collaborative robot(cobot)across a range of *** to the commonly used design approach of increasing the payload-to-weight ratio of cobot to enhance load capacity,equal attention should be paid to the dynamic response characteristics of cobot during the design process to make the cobot more *** this paper,a new method for designing the drive train parameters of cobot is ***,based on the analysis of factors influencing the load capacity and dynamic response characteristics,design criteria for both aspects are established for cobot with all optimization design criteria normalized within the design ***,with the cobot in the horizontal pose,the motor design scheme is discretized and it takes the joint motor diameter and gearbox speed ratio as optimization design ***,all the discrete values of the optimization objectives are obtained through the enumeration method and the Pareto front is used to select the optimal solution through multi-objective *** on the cobot design method proposed in this paper,a six-axis cobot is designed and compared with the commercial *** result shows that the load capacity of the designed cobot in this paper reaches 8.4 kg,surpassing the 5 kg load capacity commercial cobot which is used as a *** minimum resonance frequency of the joints is 42.70 Hz.

Burrs generated during the machining of Aramid-Fiber-Reinforced Composites(AFRPs)pose a challenge for the production efficiency of aircraft and helicopter housing *** studies have generally attempted to suppress burrs by referring to delamination suppression *** contrast to stratification,burrs are remediable machining *** such,a mechanochemical method with burrs trimming technological strategy are implemented to effectively combat ***,we clarify the mechanism by which aramid fibers cannot be cut off using analytical and numerical *** addition,the mechanism of fiber fracture with Modified Polyurethane Reactive Polymer(M-PUR),and development of anti-burr devices(thermostatic adhesive sealed generator)are ***,the experimental results show that the reduction rate in burr length is 87%-91.through the mechanochemical *** method not only opens a new avenue to solve the burr problem of aramid fibers but also builds an interdisciplinary bridge between polymer science and composite machining.

In this study,a series of hindered urea bond(HUB)containing polyurethane-urea methacrylate prepolymers and a none HUB containing polyurethane methacrylate prepolymer were prepared using isobornyl methacrylate as the reactive diluent via one-pot *** prepolymers were characterized fully by various ***,their thermosets were fabricated via UV curing in presence of a photo initiator,and their mechanical property and thermal behavior were investigated and *** from the none HUB containing thermoset,the HUB containing thermosets(defined as PUT)could be recycled and reprocessed by hot press under relatively mild conditions with high recovery ratio of mechanical ***,zinc oxide(ZnO)nanoparticles were modified with 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate and the modified ZnO(defined as ZnO-TPM)was dispersed and polymerized into PUT matrix to prepare their *** influence of ZnO-TPM on the mechanical performance of the composites was evaluated,which indicated that the Young’s modulus and tensile strength increased gradually to the maximum values at ZnO-TPM content of 1.wt%and then *** composites also displayed good reprocessability with improved recovery ratio compared to the pure PUT *** addition,the composite materials exhibited strong UV absorption capacity,implying their potential application in the circumstance where UV-shielding was required.

In this paper,we propose an analytical stochastic dynamic programming(SDP)algorithm to address the optimal management problem of price-maker community energy *** a price-maker,energy storage smooths price differences,thus decreasing energy arbitrage ***,this price-smoothing effect can result in significant external welfare changes by reduc-ing consumer costs and producer revenues,which is not negligible for the community with energy storage *** such,we formulate community storage management as an SDP that aims to maximize both energy arbitrage and community *** incorporate market interaction into the SDP format,we propose a framework that derives partial but sufficient market information to approximate impact of storage operations on market *** we present an analytical SDP algorithm that does not require state *** from computational efficiency,another advantage of the analytical algorithm is to guide energy storage to charge/discharge by directly comparing its current marginal value with expected future marginal *** studies indicate community-owned energy storage that maximizes both arbitrage and welfare value gains more benefits than storage that maximizes only *** proposed algorithm ensures optimality and largely reduces the computational complexity of the standard *** Terms-Analytical stochastic dynamic programming,energy management,energy storage,price-maker,social welfare.

Until now, significant healthcare challenges and growing urgent clinical requirements remain incompletely addressed by presently available biomedical materials. This is due to their inadequate mechanical compatibility, suboptimal physical and chemical properties, susceptibility to immune rejection, and concerns about long-term biological safety. As an alternative, liquid metal(LM) opens up a promising class of biomaterials with unique advantages like biocompatibility, flexibility, excellent electrical conductivity,and ease of functionalization. However, despite the unique advantages and successful explorations of LM in biomedical fields, widespread clinical translations and applications of LM-based medical products remain limited. This article summarizes the current status and future prospects of LM biomaterials, interprets their applications in healthcare, medical imaging, bone repair, nerve interface, and tumor therapy, *** to translate LM materials into medicine and obstacles encountered in practices are *** that, we outline a blueprint for LM clinics, emphasizing their potential in making new-generation artificial organs. Last, the core challenges of LM biomaterials in clinical translation, including bio-safety,material stability, and ethical concerns are also discussed. Overall, the current progress, translational medicine bottlenecks, and perspectives of LM biomaterials signify their immense potential to drive future medical breakthroughs and thus open up novel avenues for upcoming clinical practices.

In the current work,we investigated hydrogen/air flame propagation under supergravity *** show that when gravity is in the same/opposite direction as flame propagation,it leads to acceleration/deceleration of the flame,and that such an effect could substantially modify the flame propagation and structure at high gravity ***,for the absolute and relative flame propagation speeds,the gravity-affected flame speed shows opposite trends as the absolute flame speed is more affected by the local induced flow field,while the relative flame speeds are controlled by the super-adiabatic or sub-adiabatic flame *** gravity-affected thermal and chemical flame structures are also examined through the influence of the mixture equivalence ratio,pressure,and flame stretch.

Early non-invasive diagnosis of coronary heart disease(CHD)is ***,it is challenging to achieve accurate CHD diagnosis via detecting *** this work,heterostructured complexes of black phosphorus(BP)and two-dimensional carbide and nitride(MXene)with high gas sensitivity and photo responsiveness were formulated using a self-assembly strategy.A light-activated virtual sensor array(LAVSA)based on BP/Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx was prepared under photomodulation and further assembled into an instant gas sensing platform(IGSP).In addition,a machine learning(ML)algorithm was introduced to help the IGSP detect and recognize the signals of breath samples to diagnose *** to the synergistic effect of BP and Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx as well as photo excitation,the synthesized heterostructured complexes exhibited higher performance than pristine Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx,with a response value 26%higher than that of pristine Ti_(3)C_(2)*** addition,with the help of a pattern recognition algorithm,LAVSA successfully detected and identified 1. odor molecules affiliated with alcohols,ketones,aldehydes,esters,and ***,with the assistance of ML,the IGSP achieved 69.2%accuracy in detecting the breath odor of 45 volunteers from healthy people and CHD *** conclusion,an immediate,low-cost,and accurate prototype was designed and fabricated for the noninvasive diagnosis of CHD,which provided a generalized solution for diagnosing other diseases and other more complex application scenarios.
