Fast and reliable localization of high-energy transients is crucial for characterizing the burst properties and guiding the follow-up *** based on the relative counts of different detectors has been widely used for all-sky gamma-ray *** are two major methods for this count distribution localization:χ^(2)minimization method and the Bayesian *** we propose a modified Bayesian method that could take advantage of both the accuracy of the Bayesian method and the simplicity of the χ^(2)*** comprehensive simulations,we find that our Bayesian method with Poisson likelihood is generally more applicable for various bursts than the χ^(2)method,especially for weak *** further proposed a location-spectrum iteration approach based on the Bayesian inference,which could alleviate the problems caused by the spectral difference between the burst and location *** method is very suitable for scenarios with limited computation resources or timesensitive applications,such as in-flight localization software,and low-latency localization for rapidly follow-up observations.

Conventional self-assembled monolayer(SAM)hole transporters in organic solar cells(OSCs)generally suffer from poor uniformity and limited thickness tolerance,hindering their large-scale *** overcome these limitations,we introduce a novel polymeric hole transporter synthesized by polymerizing carbazole phosphonic acid(PACz).The resultant Poly-2PACz material exhibits exceptional conductivity,high tolerance for variations in layer thickness,and improved film uniformity compared with conventional ***,the OSCs utilizing Poly-2PACz achieve a remarkable power conversion efficiency of 1..1.and a high fill factor of 81.2%,surpassing the devices based on ***,Poly-2PACz-based OSCs demonstrate excellent operational stability,retaining over 80%of their initial efficiency after 1.400 h of continuous light exposure in ambient *** work presents a novel strategy for designing hole transporters,paving the way for more efficient and stable OSCs.

Room temperature NO_2 gas sensing of Au-loaded tungsten oxide nanowires/porous silicon hybrid structure

In this work, we report an enhanced nitrogen dioxide（NO_2） gas sensor based on tungsten oxide（WO_3）nanowires/porous silicon（PS） decorated with gold（Au） nanoparticles. Au-loaded WO_3 nanowires with diameters of 1. nm–25 nm and lengths of 300 nm–500 nm are fabricated by the sputtering method on a porous silicon substrate. The high-resolution transmission electron microscopy（HRTEM） micrographs show that Au nanoparticles are uniformly distributed on the surfaces of WO_3 nanowires. The effect of the Au nanoparticles on the NO_2-sensing performance of WO_3 nanowires/porous silicon is investigated over a low concentration range of 0.2 ppm–5 ppm of NO_2 at room temperature（25℃）. It is found that the 1.-？ Au-loaded WO_3 nanowires/porous silicon-based sensor possesses the highest gas response characteristic. The underlying mechanism of the enhanced sensing properties of the Au-loaded WO_3 nanowires/porous silicon is also discussed.

Application of Differential Scanning Calorimetry as Advanced Asphalt Testing Technology: A Comprehensive Review

Understanding the thermal mechanism of materials is paramount in the selection， modification， and application of asphalt binders. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)， as a thermodynamic technology， offers an efficient approach to assess the thermal properties of asphalt and unveil the underlying mechanisms. This review first introduces the measurement principle， sample preparation， and parameter selection in DSC. Subsequently， the review systematically explores the specific applications of DSC in the asphalt domain， encompassing thermal analysis， performance evaluation， aging investigation， and modification research. DSC， with its high precision and sensitivity， can discern essential differences between asphalts， reflecting their formation processes， disclosing their thermal histories， and predicting their properties. Serving as a fast intrinsic characterization technique， DSC establishes a connection between thermodynamic characteristics and other asphalt material performances， thus broadening its application scope. The review can serve as a potential guide for researchers to investigate the behavior mechanisms of asphalt binders from a thermodynamic perspective， demonstrating the prospects of DSC as an evaluation tool containing multifaceted information about asphalt.

Adaptive Multi-Bernoulli Filter Without Need of Prior Birth Multi-Bernoulli Random Finite Set

Conventional Multi-Bernoulli(MBer) filter assumes that the birth MBer Random finite set(RFS)is known a priori. However, this is not true for practical scenario. This paper proposes a novel extension of the MBer filter which eliminates the reliance of the prior birth MBer RFS and relaxes the limitation in new-born target appearance volume. The proposed filter classifies the measurements into survival measurements and birth measurements, and adaptively generates the birth MBer RFS using the birth measurements. The novel filtering equations that distinguish the persistent and new-born targets are derived. A Sequential Monte-Carlo(SMC) implementation of the proposed filter is given. Simulations are performed to verify the improvement in the performance of the proposed filter.

A lattice traffic model with consideration of preceding mixture traffic information

In this paper, the lattice model is presented, incorporating not only site information about preceding cars but also relative currents in front. We derive the stability condition of the extended model by considering a small perturbation around the homogeneous flow solution and find that the improvement in the stability of traffic flow is obtained by taking into account preceding mixture traffic information. Direct simulations also confirm that the traffic jam can be suppressed efficiently by considering the relative currents ahead, just like incorporating site information in front. Moreover, from the nonlinear analysis of the extended models, the preceding mixture traffic information dependence of the propagating kink solutions for traffic jams is obtained by deriving the modified KdV equation near the critical point using the reductive perturbation method.

UMR: A utility-maximizing routing algorithm for delay-sensitive service in LEO satellite networks

This paper develops a routing algorithm for delay-sensitive packet transmission in a low earth orbit multi-hop satellite network consists of micro-satellites. The micro-satellite low earth orbit （MS-LEO） network endures unstable link connection and frequent link congestion due to the uneven user distribution and the link capacity variations. The proposed routing algorithm, referred to as the utility maximizing routing （UMR） algorithm, improve the network utility of the MS-LEO network for carrying flows with strict end-to-end delay bound requirement. In UMR, first, a link state parameter is defined to capture the link reliability on continuing to keep the end-to-end delay into constraint; then, on the basis of this parameter, a routing metric is for- mulated and a routing scheme is designed for balancing the reliability in delay bound guarantee among paths and building a path maximizing the network utility expectation. While the UMR algo- rithm has many advantages, it may result in a higher blocking rate of new calls. This phenomenon is discussed and a weight factor is introduced into UMR to provide a flexible performance option for network operator. A set of simulations are conducted to verify the good performance of UMR, in terms of balancing the traffic distribution on inter-satellite links, reducing the flow interruption rate, and improving the network utility.

An Improved Key Generation Scheme Based on Multipath Channel Measurements

Channel reciprocity is a vital component for the key generation from multipath channels. In this paper, we introduce the effect of delay between measures on the channel reciprocity, build an Autoregression(AR)model to approximate time-varying channel measurements and apply a linear prediction method to reduce the measurement errors and to enhance the dependency between measurements of two communication parties. In the following bit conversion, we propose a novel quantization scheme named the Probability distance method(PDM) and compare its performance with other existing methods theoretically. The simulation results show that the optimal solution to the linear prediction problem can effectively increase the channel reciprocity in the assumed channel *** proposed PDM can achieve a lower disagreement rate with acceptable costs.

Archimedean copula estimation of distribution algorithm based on artificial bee colony algorithm

The artificial bee colony （ABC） algorithm is a com- petitive stochastic population-based optimization algorithm. How- ever, the ABC algorithm does not use the social information and lacks the knowledge of the problem structure, which leads to in- sufficiency in both convergent speed and searching precision. Archimedean copula estimation of distribution algorithm （ACEDA） is a relatively simple, time-economic and multivariate correlated EDA. This paper proposes a novel hybrid algorithm based on the ABC algorithm and ACEDA called Archimedean copula estima- tion of distribution based on the artificial bee colony （ACABC） algorithm. The hybrid algorithm utilizes ACEDA to estimate the distribution model and then uses the information to help artificial bees to search more efficiently in the search space. Six bench- mark functions are introduced to assess the performance of the ACABC algorithm on numerical function optimization. Experimen- tal results show that the ACABC algorithm converges much faster with greater precision compared with the ABC algorithm, ACEDA and the global best （gbest）-guided ABC （GABC） algorithm in most of the experiments.

Network Element Placement for Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network:A Tutorial

With the demand for Internet connectivity in remote areas, the space-air-ground integrated network(SAGIN) was proposed to achieve ubiquitous coverage and enhance service capabilities of extant terrestrial networks. The paradigm of virtual network element placement(NEP) is applied into SAGIN. It can save energy and operating costs by placing specific network elements(NEs) as software instances. In addition, it helps to provide services in end-to-end networks with its ability to allocate and manage resources flexibly. However, NEP faces some challenges in SAGIN. The network topologies can be dynamic, and links such as the satellite-to-ground and air-to-ground ones are prone to fail. These will make NEP management more complicated. Moreover, the static NEP schemes are hard to accommodate the time-varying traffic. In this context, this work explains the NEP problem in SAGIN from three aspects, i.e., the SAGIN radio access network(RAN), the SAGIN core network(CN), and the SAGIN barrier network(BN). First, the physical and networking architectures of SAGIN are introduced. Then the status of the network element placement and corresponding challenges are described from these two aspects. Finally, this paper discusses future research directions and key technical challenges.
