In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data ***,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,semantic communication has attracted great attention as a new communication ***,for IoT devices,however,processing image information efficiently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of semantic *** the increase of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inference time in sensor devices continues to *** contrast,the Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN)has fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such as image segmentation,which lays the foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,the parameters of PCNN are determined by trial and error,which limits its *** overcome this limitation,an Improved Pulse Coupled Neural Networks(IPCNN)model is proposed in this *** IPCNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input image and the dynamic properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of manual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPCNN on the gray images and natural images from the Matlab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPCNN method achieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of image semantic information.

Surface defects can affect the quality of steel *** methods based on computer vision are currently applied to surface defect detection of steel ***,their real-time performance and object detection of small defect are still *** improved object detection network based on You Only Look One-level Feature(YOLOF)is proposed to show excellent performance in surface defect detection of steel plate,called ***,the anchor-free detector is used to reduce the network ***,deformable convolution network and local spatial attention module are introduced into the feature extraction network to increase the contextual information in the feature ***,the soft non-maximum suppression is used to improve detection accuracy ***,data augmentation is performed for small defect objects during training to improve detection *** show the average precision and average precision for small objects are 42.7%and 33.5%at a detection speed of 62 frames per second on a single GPU,*** shows that DLF-YOLOF has excellent performance to meet the needs of industrial real-time detection.

Addressing the impact of capacitor mismatch on the conversion accuracy of successive approximation register analog-to-digital converter(SAR ADC),a 1.-bit 1.MS/s sub-binary SAR ADC designed using variable step size digital calibration was *** least mean square(LMS)calibration algorithm was employed with a ramp signal used as the calibration *** errors,extracted under injected disturbances,underwent iterative training to optimize weight *** address the trade-off between conversion accuracy and speed caused by a fixed step size,a novel variable step size algorithm tailored for SAR ADC calibration was *** core circuit and layout of the SAR ADC were implemented using the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company(TSMC)0.35μm complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)commercial *** of the SAR ADC calibration algorithm was conducted using Simulink,demonstrating quick convergence and meeting conversion accuracy requirements compared to fixed step size *** results indicated that the convergence speed of the LMS digital calibration algorithm with variable step size was approximately eight times faster than that with a fixed step size,also yielding a lower mean square error(MSE).After calibration,the simulation results for the SAR ADC exhibited an effective number of bit(ENOB)of 1..79 bit and a signal-to-noise and distortion ratio(SNDR)of 72.72 dB,signifying a notable enhancement in the SAR ADC performance.

This paper introduces a novel RISC-V processor architecture designed for ultra-low-power and energy-efficient applications,particularly for Internet of things(IoT)*** architecture enables runtime dynamic reconfiguration of the datapath,allowing efficient balancing between computational performance and power *** is achieved through interchangeable components and clock gating mechanisms,which help the processor adapt to varying workloads.A prototype of the architecture was implemented on a Xilinx Artix 7 field programmable gate array(FPGA).Experimental results show significant improvements in power efficiency and *** mini configuration achieves an impressive reduction in power consumption,using only 36%of the baseline ***,the full configuration boosts performance by 8%over the *** flexible and adaptable nature of this architecture makes it highly suitable for a wide range of low-power IoT applications,providing an effective solution to meet the growing demands for energy efficiency in modern IoT devices.

Effective clinical trials are necessary for understanding medical advances but early termination of trials can result in unnecessary waste of *** models can be used to predict survival probabilities in such ***,survival data from clinical trials are sparse,and DeepSurv cannot accurately capture their effective features,making the models weak in generalization and decreasing their prediction *** this paper,we propose a survival prediction model for clinical trial completion based on the combination of denoising autoencoder(DAE)and DeepSurv *** DAE is used to obtain a robust representation of features by breaking the loop of raw features after autoencoder training,and then the robust features are provided to DeepSurv as input for *** clinical trial dataset for training the model was obtained from the *** dataset.A study of clinical trial completion in pregnant women was conducted in response to the fact that many current clinical trials exclude pregnant *** experimental results showed that the denoising autoencoder and deep survival regression(DAE-DSR)model was able to extract meaningful and robust features for survival analysis;the C-index of the training and test datasets were 0.74 and 0.75 *** with the Cox proportional hazards model and DeepSurv model,the survival analysis curves obtained by using DAE-DSR model had more prominent features,and the model was more robust and performed better in actual prediction.

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a photonic method for wideband multipath self-interference cancellation using a silicon photonic modulator *** chip generates phase-inverted reference signals by leveraging the opposite phase between optical *** managing amplitude and phase imbalances between self-interference and reference signals,the approach rectifies discrepancies through consistent chip manufacturing and packaging *** photonic multi-dimensional multiplexing,including wavelength and polarization,enables the acquisition of multiple reference *** results show multipath cancellation depths of 25.53 dB and 23.81.dB for bandwidths of 500 MHz and 1.GHz,achieved by superimposing 2-path reference signals.

Since the preparation of labeled datafor training semantic segmentation networks of pointclouds is a time-consuming process, weakly supervisedapproaches have been introduced to learn fromonly a small fraction of data. These methods aretypically based on learning with contrastive losses whileautomatically deriving per-point pseudo-labels from asparse set of user-annotated labels. In this paper, ourkey observation is that the selection of which samplesto annotate is as important as how these samplesare used for training. Thus, we introduce a methodfor weakly supervised segmentation of 3D scenes thatcombines self-training with active learning. Activelearning selects points for annotation that are likelyto result in improvements to the trained model, whileself-training makes efficient use of the user-providedlabels for learning the model. We demonstrate thatour approach leads to an effective method that providesimprovements in scene segmentation over previouswork and baselines, while requiring only a few userannotations.
