The precise control of receptor levels is crucial for initiating cellular signaling transduction in response to specific ligands;however,such mechanisms regulating nodulation factor(NF)receptor(NFR)-mediated perception of NFs to establish symbiosis remain *** this study,we unveil the pivotal role of the NFR-interacting RING-type E3 ligase 1.NIRE1.in regulating NFR1.NFR5 homeostasis to optimize rhizobial infection and nodule development in Lotus *** demonstrated that NiRE1.has a dual function in this regulatory *** associates with both NFR1.and NFR5,facilitating their degradation through K48-linked polyubiquitination before rhizobial ***,following rhizobial inoculation,NFR1.phosphorylates NIRE1.ta conserved residue,Tyr-1.9,inducing a functional switch in NIRE1.which enables NIRE1.omediateK63-linkedpolyubiquitination,thereby stabilizing NFR1.NFR5 in infected root *** introduction of phospho-dead NIRE1.1.sF leads to delayed nodule development,underscoring the significance of phosphorylation at Tyr-1.9 in orchestrating symbiotic ***,expression of the phospho-mimic NIRE1.0E results in the formation of spontaneous nodules in ***,further emphasizing the critical role of the phosphorylation-dependent functional switch in *** summary,these findings uncover a fine-tuned symbiotic mechanism that a single E3 ligase could undergo a phosphorylationdependent functional switch to dynamically and precisely regulate NF receptor protein levels.

The surge in interest regarding the next generation of optical fiber transmission has stimulated the development of digital signal processing(DSP)schemes that are highly cost-effective with both high performance and low *** benchmarks for nonlinear compensation methods,however,traditional DSP designed with block-by-block modules for linear compensations,could exhibit residual linear effects after compensation,limiting the nonlinear compensation *** we propose a high-efficient design thought for DSP based on the learnable perspectivity,called learnable DSP(LDSP).LDSP reuses the traditional DSP modules,regarding the whole DSP as a deep learning framework and optimizing the DSP parameters adaptively based on backpropagation algorithm from a global *** method not only establishes new standards in linear DSP performance but also serves as a critical benchmark for nonlinear DSP *** comparison to traditional DSP with hyperparameter optimization,a notable enhancement of approximately 1.21.dB in the Q factor for 400 Gb/s signal after 1.00 km fiber transmission is experimentally demonstrated by combining LDSP and perturbation-based nonlinear compensation *** from the learnable model,LDSP can learn the best configuration adaptively with low complexity,reducing dependence on initial *** proposed approach implements a symbol-rate DSP with a small bit error rate(BER)cost in exchange for a 48%complexity reduction compared to the conventional 2 samples/symbol *** believe that LDSP represents a new and highly efficient paradigm for DSP design,which is poised to attract considerable attention across various domains of optical communications.

In this paper,the online power control and rate adaptation for a wireless communication system with energy harvesting(EH)are investigated,in which soft decision decoding is adopted by the *** efficiently utilize the harvested energy and maximize the actual achievable transmission rate under the constraints of the avai{1.le channel codes and modulation schemes,the transmit power,code rate and modulation order are jointly *** Lyapunov framework is used to transform the long-term optimization problem into a per time slot optimization *** there is no theoretical formula for the error rate of soft decision decoding,the optimization problem cannot be solved analytically.A table to find the optimal modulation order and code rate under the different values of signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)is built first,and then a numerical algorithm to find the solution to the optimization problem is *** feasibility and performance of the proposed algorithm are demonstrated by *** simulation results show that compared with the algorithms to maximize the theoretical channel capacity,the proposed algorithm can achieve a higher actual transmission rate.

Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis(ABSA)is a fundamental area of research in Natural Language Processing(NLP).Within ABSA,Aspect Sentiment Quad Prediction(ASQP)aims to accurately identify sentiment quadruplets in target sentences,including aspect terms,aspect categories,corresponding opinion terms,and sentiment ***,most existing research has focused on English ***,while ASQP has seen significant progress in English,the Chinese ASQP task has remained relatively *** inspiration from methods applied to English ASQP,we propose Chinese generation templates and employ prompt-based instruction learning to enhance the model’s understanding of the task,ultimately improving ASQP performance in the Chinese ***,under the same pre-training model configuration,our approach achieved a 5.79%improvement in the F1.score compared to the previously leading ***,when utilizing a larger model with reduced training parameters,the F1.score demonstrated an 8.1.%***,we suggest a novel evaluation metric based on the characteristics of generative models,better-reflecting model *** results validate the effectiveness of our approach.

Lower Earth Orbit(LEO) satellite becomes an important part of complementing terrestrial communication due to its lower orbital altitude and smaller propagation delay than Geostationary satellite. However, the LEO satellite communication system cannot meet the requirements of users when the satellite-terrestrial link is blocked by obstacles. To solve this problem, we introduce Intelligent reflect surface(IRS) for improving the achievable rate of terrestrial users in LEO satellite communication. We investigated joint IRS scheduling, user scheduling, power and bandwidth allocation(JIRPB) optimization algorithm for improving LEO satellite system *** optimization problem of joint user scheduling and resource allocation is formulated as a non-convex optimization problem. To cope with this problem, the nonconvex optimization problem is divided into resource allocation optimization sub-problem and scheduling optimization sub-problem firstly. Second, we optimize the resource allocation sub-problem via alternating direction multiplier method(ADMM) and scheduling sub-problem via Lagrangian dual method ***, we prove that the proposed resource allocation algorithm based ADMM approaches sublinear convergence theoretically. Finally, we demonstrate that the proposed JIRPB optimization algorithm improves the LEO satellite communication system throughput.

Physical Layer Encryption of OFDM-PON Based on Quantum Noise Stream Cipher with Polar Code

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing passive optical network(OFDM-PON) has superior anti-dispersion property to operate in the C-band of fiber for increased optical power budget. However,the downlink broadcast exposes the physical layer vulnerable to the threat of illegal eavesdropping. Quantum noise stream cipher(QNSC) is a classic physical layer encryption method and well compatible with the OFDM-PON. Meanwhile, it is indispensable to exploit forward error correction(FEC) to control errors in data transmission. However, when QNSC and FEC are jointly coded, the redundant information becomes heavier and thus the code rate of the transmitted signal will be largely reduced. In this work, we propose a physical layer encryption scheme based on polar-code-assisted QNSC. In order to improve the code rate and security of the transmitted signal, we exploit chaotic sequences to yield the redundant bits and utilize the redundant information of the polar code to generate the higher-order encrypted signal in the QNSC scheme with the operation of the *** experimentally demonstrate the encrypted 1./64-QAM, 1./256-QAM, 1./1.24-QAM, 1./4096-QAM QNSC signals transmitted over 30-km standard single mode fiber. For the transmitted 1./4096-QAM QNSC signal, compared with the conventional QNSC method, the proposed method increases the code rate from 0.1.to 0.32 with enhanced security.

We propose and experimentally demonstrate the programmable photonic radio frequency(RF)filters based on an integrated Fabry-Pérot laser with a saturable absorber(FP-SA).Owing to the high output power and the relative flatness spectrum of the FP-SA laser,only a waveshaper and an erbium-doped fiber amplifier(EDFA)were needed,which can greatly reduce the complexity of the *** sinc filter employed 87 taps,representing a record-high tap number and resulting in a 3-d B bandwidth of 0.27 GHz and a quality factor of ***,Gaussian apodization enabled the out-of-band rejection of the filter to reach 34 d B and the center frequency to be finely tuned over a wide range,spanning from 4 to 1. *** results indicate that the proposed scheme could provide a promising guideline for the photonic RF filters that demand both high reconfigurability and greatly reduced size and complexity.

The integration of network slicing into a Device-to-Device(D2D)network is a promising technological approach for efficiently accommodating Enhanced Mobile Broadband(eMBB)and Ultra Reliable Low Latency communication(URLLC)*** this work,we aim to optimize energy efficiency and resource allocation in a D2D underlay cellular network by jointly optimizing beamforming and Resource Sharing Unit(RSU)*** problem of our investigation involves a Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Program(MINLP).To solve the problem effectively,we utilize the concept of the Dinkelbach method,the iterative weightedℓ1.norm technique,and the principles of Difference of Convex(DC)*** simplify the solution,we merge these methods into a two-step process using Semi-Definite Relaxation(SDR)and Successive Convex Approximation(SCA).The integration of network slicing and the optimization of short packet transmission are the proposed strategies to enhance spectral efficiency and satisfy the demand for low-latency and high-data-rate requirement *** Simulation results validate that the proposed method outperforms the benchmark schemes,demonstrating higher throughput ranging from 1..79%to 28.67%for URLLC users,and 1..67%to 35.89%for eMBB users,respectively.
