Optimal scheduling of renewable energy sources and building energy systems serves as a pivotal strategy for achieving zero carbon ***,the coordination of zero carbon building energy systems(ZCBS) is still challenging due to the complicated interactions among multi-energy hybrid storage and the complex coordination between seasonal and daily ***,this study develops a coordination scheduling approach for *** operation model and a seasonal-daily scheduling approach are developed to optimize the operation of hydrogen,geothermal,and water storage *** performance of the developed method is demonstrated using numerical case *** results show that the ZCBS can be achieved by using renewable energy sources with the system flexibility provided by hydrogen,geothermal,and water storage *** is also found that the developed scheduling approach reduces operation costs by more than 43.4%under the same device capacity,compared with existing scheduling approaches.

In this paper,a beamforming (BF) based cooperation scheme with decode-and-forward (DF) protocol is proposed and its performance analysis is ***,to solve the issue of carrier synchronization in distributed networks,a backward synchronization (B-Sync) method is introduced,where participating relays synchronize to the reference carrier broadcast by the destination and make signals superimposed coherently at the destination without any phase ***,based on B-sync,a cooperation scheme with DF protocol is proposed to carry out BF forwarding among *** outage probability of this scheme is derived and analyzed,which shows that the full diversity order can be achieved by the proposed ***,symbol error probability (SEP) analysis is presented to evaluate the practical *** results validate the analysis,and show that the proposed scheme outperforms other existing ones in terms of outage probability and SEP.

The radio interferometric positioning system(RIPS) measures the phase difference of the interference signal to provide high accuracy and at the same time maintain simple hardware configuration for wireless sensor ***, it suffers from phase ambiguity problem because of the periodicity of phase, which makes it hard to determine the actual distance difference only from a single phase *** solve the problem, RIPS makes multiple measurements at different frequencies so as to determine the distance difference from multiple ***, this is a computationally intensive searching process and not suitable for energyconstrained wireless sensor *** this paper, we introduce the Chinese remainder theorem(CRT) to RIPS to solve the phase ambiguity ***, we utilize some properties of the coefficients in the CRT algorithm to avoid the over-sensitivity of the traditional CRT, which increases the robustness of the *** apply this robust CRT algorithm to the ranging process which calculates the distance difference directly from a closed-form equation and therefore reduces the response time and the energy consumption of the ranging procedure.

In this paper, a new scheme based on relay selection and data forwarding in multi-relay cooperative networks is introduced. Unlike most existing solutions focused on amplify-and-forward (AF) or decode-and-forward (DF) protocol separately, the proposed hybrid forward (HF) scheme takes advantage of both AF and DF protocols in relay forwarding. Based on theoretical analysis, a closed-form expression for the tight lower bound of its outage probability is derived, and further performance analysis is also presented. Then, in total power restricted networks, an optimal power allocation strategy between the source and the selected relay is developed to minimize the outage probability. Simulations are carried out finally, which validate the analysis and show that the HF scheme outperforms other existing ones in terms of outage probability.

The issue of physical layer security of the wireless single-input multiple-output(SIMO) system is addressed in this paper. We propose a two-step transmission scheme with artificial noise to improve the security and the scheme does not require the channel state information of the eavesdropper. In the first step, the destination which has multiple antennas generates a random reference symbol and artificial noise and transmits them in the direction of the source and its orthogonal space, respectively. The reference symbol is received by the source without being polluted by the artificial noise, while it is jammed by the artificial noise for the eavesdropper. In the second step, the symbol of the source is multiplied by the received reference symbol and then transmitted. Finally, the destination can directly estimate the symbol of the source using the reference symbol. However, the eavesdropper needs to additionally estimate the reference symbol for demodulating the symbol of the source, which usually obtains an inaccurate result due to the artificial noise. The informationtheoretic security of our scheme is analyzed and a lower bound of the achievable secrecy rate is derived. The performance of the new scheme is compared with that of the traditional approach under different input signals through numerical simulations. The results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the traditional SIMO approach especially in the high SNR region.

Rain can cause performance degradation of outdoor computer vision tasks. Thus, the exploration of rain removal from videos or a single image has drawn considerable attention in the field of image processing. Recently, various deraining methodologies have been proposed. However, no comprehensive survey work has yet been conducted to summarize existing deraining algorithms and quantitatively compare their generalization ability, and especially, no off-the-shelf toolkit exists for accumulating and categorizing recent representative methods for easy performance reproduction and deraining capability evaluation. In this regard, herein, we present a comprehensive overview of existing video and single image deraining methods as well as reproduce and evaluate current state-of-the-art deraining methods. In particular, these approaches are mainly classified into model-and deep-learning-based methods, and more elaborate branches of each method are presented. Inherent abilities, especially generalization performance, of the state-of-the-art methods have been both quantitatively and visually analyzed through thorough experiments conducted on synthetic and real benchmark datasets. Moreover, to facilitate the reproduction of existing deraining methods for general users, we present a comprehensive repository with detailed classification, including direct links to 85 deraining papers, 24 relevant project pages, source codes of 1. and 25 algorithms for video and single image deraining, respectively, 5 and 1. real and synthesized datasets, respectively, and 7 frequently used image quality evaluation metrics, along with the corresponding computation codes. Research limitations worthy of further exploration have also been discussed for future research along this direction.

The minimum variance distortionless response(MVDR) beamformer has better resolution and much better interference rejection capability than the data-independent ***,the former is more sensitive to errors,such as the steering vector errors caused by direction of arrival mismatch,imprecise array calibration or any other possible factors,especially in the case of high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).A new robust MVDR beamformer against the general steering vector errors is proposed in this *** method is based on the reconstruction of the covariance matrix which aims to reduce the power of the signal of interest(SOI) in the covariance *** eigenanalysis is used in the process of removing the SOI component and modifying the residual covariance *** results show that the proposed method has excellent signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR) performance under the mismatch condition.

A new method for solving the wideband beamforming problem is proposed in this paper based on directional uniform circular *** basic idea is designing a narrowband beamforming spatial filter at a specific frequency and using the obtained filter weights directly to wideband signals,which reduces the complexities of designing and *** the premise of knowing signals’ direction information,this paper uses the method of least square with linear constraints to design the narrowband spatial *** the directional uniform circular array is insensitive to the variation of frequency,coincident beams and notches are obtained at different frequencies of the wideband signal by using the obtained narrowband spatial filter *** computation complexity of array signal processing can be greatly reduced by using the method proposed in this paper,which is convenient for real-time signal processing.
