We present a flexible manipulation and control of solitons via Bose-Einstein *** the presence of Rashba spin-orbit coupling and repulsive interactions within a harmonic potential,our investigation reveals the numerical local solutions within the *** manipulating the strength of repulsive interactions and adjusting spin-orbit coupling while maintaining a zero-frequency rotation,diverse soliton structures emerge within the *** include plane-wave solitons,two distinct types of stripe solitons,and odd petal solitons with both single and double *** stability of these solitons is intricately dependent on the varying strength of spin-orbit ***,stripe solitons can maintain a stable existence within regions characterized by enhanced spin-orbit coupling while petal solitons are unable to sustain a stable existence under similar *** rotational frequency is introduced to the system,solitons undergo a transition from stripe solitons to a vortex array characterized by a sustained *** rotational directions of clockwise and counterclockwise are non-equivalent owing to spin-orbit *** a result,the properties of vortex solitons exhibit significant variation and are capable of maintaining a stable existence in the presence of repulsive interactions.

Freestanding oxide perovskites possess strong interlayer coupling between adjacent atomic layers,thus exerting a determinative effect on the magnetism and ferroelectricity of these atomic-scale ***,we propose an effective strategy to manipulate magnetism and ferroelectricity in freestanding rare-earth orthorhombic perovskite via modulation of layer *** performing first-principles calculations,an even-odd oscillation is demonstrated in few-layer GdAlO_(3)perovskite(GAP).Specifically,odd-layer systems with charged atomic layers are ferromagnetic polar metals,while even-layer systems are antiferromagnetic ferroelectric *** thickness-dependent magnetic phase transition originates from carrier doping,as rationalized by the Stoner ***,we demonstrate the promotion of in-plane ferroelectricity via the concurrent application of two distinct antiferrodistortive displacements,each driven by formation and breaking of *** multiferroic phases may emerge in other transition metal oxide perovskites supporting multiple valence states,e.g.,few-layer Gd MO_(3)(M=V,Cr,Mn,and Ni).This work puts forward a strategy for layer thickness engineering of magnetism and ferroelectricity in 2D oxide perovskite multiferroic materials.

Lithium niobate thin film frequency doubler has extensive applications in the preparation of classical and quantum *** this study,we successfully fabricated microdisk resonators with a quality factor of 2.2×1.^(5) in reverse-polarization dual-layer x-cut lithium niobate for the first *** on the modal phase matching condition,efficient second harmonic generation with a record normalized conversion efficiency of~56000%W-1.and cascaded third harmonic generation with an efficiency of~6500%W-2 were obtained in the microdisk *** with the periodically poled lithium niobate microcavity,the complex domain structure preparation processes are *** work provides a scheme for achieving highly efficient second-order nonlinear effects in non-periodically poled microcavities.

Top-down strategy has been widely applied for synthesis of metal single atom catalysts(SACs)via converting metal nanoparticles or bulk metals into atomically dispersed ***,we report a simple electrochemical atomic migration strategy for top-down synthesis of SACs via a facile cathodic corrosion process without involving high temperature or harsh *** of metal nanoparticles on cathode are firstly disbanded under high negative voltage,and emitted into the electrolyte in the form of atomic metal anions in Zintl *** escaped atomically dispersed metal species are then oxidized by water molecules and captured by the defects on the pre-added nitrogen doped carbon carriers in the *** cathodic corrosion strategy is confirmed to be suitable for scalable synthesis of kinds of metal SACs(e.g.,Pt,Pd,and Ir)on doped carbon ***,the as-prepared nitrogen doped carbon powder supported Pt SACs exhibit superior catalytic activity toward hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)with a low overpotential of 0.024 V at 1. mA·cm^(−2)and a low Tafel slope of 29.7 mV·dec^(−1.as well as a long-term durability.

Synchrotron-based angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy was employed to investigate the temperature evolution of the Yb 4 f spectral for surface and bulk in the Kondo lattice YbCu_(2)Si_(2).Our study quantitatively distinguishes between the surface and bulk hybridization processes,revealing that the onset temperatures for both surface and bulk hybridization processes are significantly higher than the Kondo ***,we found that the effective surface Kondo temperature is much lower than that of the *** findings offer valuable insights into the understanding of heavy fermion physics.

Global gridded crop models(GGCMs) have been broadly applied to assess the impacts of climate and environmental change and adaptation on agricultural production. China is a major grain producing country, but thus far only a few studies have assessed the performance of GGCMs in China, and these studies mainly focused on the average and interannual variability of national and regional yields. Here, a systematic national-and provincial-scale evaluation of the simulations by1. GGCMs [1. from the GGCM Intercomparison(GGCMI) project, phase 1. and CLM5-crop] of the yields of four crops(wheat, maize, rice, and soybean) in China during 1.80–2009 was carried out through comparison with crop yield statistics collected from the National Bureau of Statistics of China. Results showed that GGCMI models generally underestimate the national yield of rice but overestimate it for the other three crops, while CLM5-crop can reproduce the national yields of wheat, maize, and rice well. Most GGCMs struggle to simulate the spatial patterns of crop yields. In terms of temporal variability, GGCMI models generally fail to capture the observed significant increases, but some can skillfully simulate the interannual variability. Conversely, CLM5-crop can represent the increases in wheat, maize, and rice, but works less well in simulating the interannual variability. At least one model can skillfully reproduce the temporal variability of yields in the top-1. producing provinces in China, albeit with a few exceptions. This study, for the first time, provides a complete picture of GGCM performance in China, which is important for GGCM development and understanding the reliability and uncertainty of national-and provincial-scale crop yield prediction in China.

The thermal conductivity ofε-iron at high pressure and high temperature is a key parameter to constrain the dynamics and thermal evolution of the Earth’s *** this work,we use first-principles calculations to study the Hugoniot sound velocity and the thermal transport properties ofε-*** total thermal conductivity considering lattice vibration is 200 W/mK at the Earth’s inner core *** suppressed anharmonic interactions can significantly enhance the lattice thermal conductivity under high pressure,and the contribution of the lattice thermal conductivity should not be ignored under the Earth’s core conditions.
