Terephthalic acid reformed Al/Zn metal organic nanoflake was prepared and functionalized with trie-thylamine(T-AlZn).Without adding terephthalic acid,there was no product of metal organic nanoflake.T-AlZn has a remarkable performance in removing trace lead(Ⅱ)ions(Pb^(2+)).The adsorption equipoise with the removal rate≥97%was reached within 35 *** removal rates of T-AlZn for Pb^(2+)declined by only 1..73%after four *** adsorption of T-AlZn for Pb^(2+)follows the Langmuir isotherms model and pseudo-second-order dynamics *** utmost adsorption competence was calculated as 21..27 mg g^(-1..The T-AlZn adsorbent exhibits a bright prospect in the adsorption for Pb^(2+)and is a considerable candidate in the disposal of industrial sewage.

Variable air volume air-conditioning system(VAV system)has multiple control loops that interfered with each other,which has serious impacts on its actual operation *** solve this problem,the index of global hydraulic stability,which takes the physical quantity of the pipe network pressure and the air flow rate as reference,is proposed based on Graph theory,and a pipe network model for the hydraulic calculation is ***,the simulation study based on the actual operation data is carried out in *** distribution of the pressure and the air flow in the pipe network is obtained,and the action interferences among adjacent terminal boxes are analyzed based on global hydraulic stability under damper position regulation strategy(DP strategy)and fan frequency regulation strategy(FF strategy).Results indicate that the FF strategy can decrease the total change distance of the damper position compared with the DP strategy,and then the fluctuation of the pressure and the air flow can be *** contribution of this study is to provide an evaluation index of global hydraulic stability,which can also be used in other air-conditioning systems with multiple terminals and multiple control loops.

Herein,a novel single-atomic Pt doping and interface-rich CoS/Co(OH)_(2)(Pt-CoS/Co(OH)_(2)/C)electrocatalyst has been successfully *** from precise regulation of d-orbital electronic structure modulation on Co site,Pt-CoS/Co(OH)_(2)/C exhibited remarkable HER activity and high stability for hydrogen evolution in splitting both water(73 mV@1. mA·cm^(−2)) and seawater(87 mV@1. mA·cm^(−2)).Notably,atomic Pt doping was introduced into CoS/Co(OH)_(2),which could produce local unbalanced Coulombic force and significantly increased the number of S vacancies,and then expose abundant Co ***,Co(OH)_(2) in Pt-CoS/Co(OH)_(2)/C could act as the adsorption sites for H_(2)O in hydrogen evolution reaction *** functional theory results also proved that atomic Pt doping,S vacancies and Co(OH)_(2) coupling could result in the formation of enriched electronic Co sites and optimize d_(z2) orbital electronic structure,and then realize the depth upward shift of d-band center and enhance the adsorption of H*on Co sites.

A new method based on phononic crystals is presented to detect the concentration of heavy water(D_(2)O)in an H_(2)O-D_(2)O *** have been obtained and analyzed in the concentration range of 0%-1.%and 90%-1.0%D_(2)O.A proposed structure of tungsten scatterers in an aluminum host is *** order to detect the target material,a cavity region is considered as a sound wave resonator in which the target material with different concentrations of D_(2)O is *** changing the concentration of D_(2)O in the H_(2)O-D_(2)O mixture,the resonance frequency undergoes a frequency *** 1.change in D_(2)O concentration in the H_(2)O-D_(2)O mixture causes a frequency change of about 1.0 *** finite element method is used as the numerical method to calculate and analyze the natural frequencies and transmission spectra of the proposed *** performance evaluation index shows a high Q factor up to 1.75758 and a high sensitivity up to 1.075,which are acceptable values for sensing *** other figures of merit related to the detection performance also indicate high-quality performance of the designed sensor.

The need to combine various metals in light-weight constructions requires the development of coatings that prevent galvanic corrosion. Layered double hydroxides(LDHs) can be an example of such coatings, which were previously successfully obtained in situ on individual materials. In addition, the possibility of LDH growth(including LDH growth in the presence of chelating agents) on the surface of plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)-coated metals was previously shown. This PEO + LDH combination could improve both corrosion and mechanical characteristics of the system. The possibility of LDHs formation in situ on the surface of PEO-coated friction stir welded(FSW) magnesium-aluminum materials(AZ31.AA5754 system was selected as a model one) was demonstrated in the presence of 1.3-diamino-2-hydroxypropane-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid(DHPTA) as a chelating agent, which was selected based on analysis of respective metal-ligand compounds stability. LDHs growth was achieved under ambient pressure without addition of carbonates in the electrolyte. The effectiveness of the resulting coating is shown both for corrosion resistance and hardness.

This study explores the potential of LDH flakes decorated with metallic oxide nanoparticles to function as both anti-corrosion barriers against chloride anions and heterogeneous photocatalysts for tetracycline degradation under visible *** process involves modifying the primarily MgO-based inorganic porous film by growing a MgFe LDH film,followed by the individual and dual incorporation of SnO_(2)and WO_(3)*** dual incorporation of these nanoparticles into the LDH matrix leads to synergistic interactions,effectively sealing pre-existing defects within LDH flakes and facilitating the in-situ formation of catalytic sites through oxidation and the induction of surface oxygen vacancy defects,which synergistically contribute to the enhancement of both electrochemical and photocatalytic *** enhanced electrochemical stability is reflected in a significant reduction in corrosion current density by 4 orders of magnitude compared to unmodified porous ***,the decorated film demonstrates sustained photocatalytic functionality,achieving significant degradation(95.5%)of tetracycline within two *** study presents a novel approach,highlighting the dual effectiveness of LDHs decorated by dual metal oxides as an anti-corrosive agent and photocatalyst,with promising implications for environmental remediation and wastewater purification.

In the pursuit of multifunctional coatings,the controlled growth of materials on stationary platforms holds paramount importance for achieving superior corrosion protection and optimal photocatalytic *** study introduces a cutting-edge approach,intertwining bifunctional metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)seamlessly into defective MgO layers produced by the anodic oxidation of AZ31.*** metallic oxides of Zn,Sn,and V take center stage as metallic sources for MOF formation,complemented by the organic prowess of L-Tryptophan as anα-amino acid *** the electronic structure of metallic oxides reacting with tryptophan molecules,controlled morphologies with distinct characteristics are induced on the defective surface of the MgO layer,enabling the precise modulation of surface *** hybrid composite demonstrates an adaptive microstructure in diverse aqueous environments,offering dual functionality with electrochemical stability and visible light photocatalytic activity for crystal violet *** the samples,the SnOF complex exhibited remarkable electrochemical stability with a low corrosion current density of 7.50×1.^(−1.)A·cm^(−2),along with a 94.56%degradation efficiency after 90 min under visible light *** VOF complex,under similar visible light conditions,demonstrated exceptional performance with a higher degradation efficiency of 97.79%and excellent electrochemical stability characterized by a corrosion current density of 3.26×1.^(−9)A·cm^(−2).Additionally,Density Functional Theory(DFT)computations shed light on the basic bonding patterns between MOFs and inorganic components,providing electronic understanding of their electrochemical and photocatalytic activities.

To investigate the enhancing effect of Mn on the performance of simultaneous catalytic oxidation of AsH_(3)and PH_(3)by CuO-Al_(2)O_(3)in a reducing atmosphere under micro-oxygen conditions,Cu-Mn modifiedγ-Al_(2)O_(3)catalysts were *** characteristics of the catalysts showed that Mn reduced the crystallinity of the active CuO component,increased the number of oxygen vacancies and acidic sites on the catalyst surface,enhanced the mobility of surface oxygen,and the interaction between copper and manganese promoted the redox cycling ability of the catalysts and improved their oxidation performance,which increased the conversion frequency(TOF)by 2.54×1.^(-2)to 3.07×1.^(-2)sec^(-1..On the other hand,the introduction of Mn reduced the production of phosphate and As_(2)O_(3)on the catalyst surface by30.96%and 44.9%,which reduced the coverage and inerting of the active sites by phosphate and As_(2)O_(3),resulting in an 8 hr(6 hr)improvement in the stability of PH_(3)(AsH_(3))removal.
