B-N covalent bond-involved π-extension of multiple resonance emitters enables high-performance narrowband electroluminescence

Multi-boron-embedded multiple resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescence（MR-TADF） emitters show promise for achieving both high color-purity emission and high exciton utilization ***, their development is often impeded by a limited synthetic scope and excessive molecular weights,which challenge material acquisition and organic light-emitting diode（OLED） fabrication by vacuum deposition. Herein, we put forward a B–N covalent bond-involved π-extension strategy via post-functionalization of MR frameworks, leading to the generation of high-order B/N-based motifs. The structurally and electronically extended π-system not only enhances molecular rigidity to narrow emission linewidth but also promotes reverse intersystem crossing to mitigate efficiency roll-off. As illustrated examples, ultra-narrowband sky-blue emitters（full-width at half-maximum as small as 8 nm in n-hexane）have been developed with multi-dimensional improvement in photophysical properties compared to their precursor emitters, which enables narrowband OLEDs with external quantum efficiencies(EQEmax) of up to 42.6%, in company with alleviated efficiency decline at high brightness, representing the best efficiency reported for single-host OLEDs. The success of these emitters highlights the effectiveness of our molecular design strategy for advanced MR-TADF emitters and confirms their extensive potential in high-performance optoelectronic devices.

Optimizing electronic structure of Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x) MXene through Nb doping for enhanced electrochemical performance

MXene is a promising electrode material for both high volumetric capacitance and high-rate performance in ***,the current study has mainly focused on the monometallic element Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene until now,while the bimetallic and multimetallic MXene have received comparatively less *** this work,we demonstrate that the electronic structure of the Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x) MXene could be regulated by fine-tuning the content of doped Nb *** enhanced electron cloud density of surface–O termination and the electron spin of the Mo atoms in the Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x) MXene,leads to the boost of electric double-layer capacitor(EDLC)and improvement of *** a consequence,the electrochemical performance of Nb-doped Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x) MXene(Nb-0.3-MXene)demonstrates a capacitance of 398 F·cm^(−3),roughly doubling that of the pristine Mo_(2)TiC_(2)T_(x) MXene electrode at 1.7 F·cm^(−3) in the 3 M H_(2)SO_(4) *** the same time,the Nb-0.3-MXene could even maintain a capacitance of 82.75% at 200 mV·s−1.with high cyclic stability for 1.,000 cycles at 1. A·g−***,Nb-0.3-MXene-based hybrid supercapacitors deliver a remarkable volumetric energy density of 48.1.W·h·L^(−1.at 230.7 W·L^(−1.,and 34.4 W·h·L^(−1.at a high power density of 82.6 kW·L^(−1..There exists a balance between the volumetric capacitance and rate performance with different ratios of Nb atoms in the Nb-doped MXene due to the strong interaction between the Nb-doped MXene and the intercalated ***,optimizing the electronic structure of MXene through heteroatom doping is of great potential for enhanced supercapacitor performance.

Real-time,contact-free temperature monitoring of low to medium range(30℃-1.0℃)has been extensively used in industry and agriculture,which is usually realized by costly infrared temperature detection *** paper proposes an alternative approach of extracting temperature information in real time from the visible light images of the monitoring target using a convolutional neural network(CNN).A mean-square error of1.1.9℃was reached in the temperature measurements of low to medium range using the CNN and the visible light *** angle and imaging distance do not affect the temperature detection using visible optical images by the ***,the CNN has a certain illuminance generalization ability capable of detection temperature information from the images which were collected under different illuminance and were not used for *** to the conventional machine learning algorithms mentioned in the recent literatures,this real-time,contact-free temperature measurement approach that does not require any further image processing operations facilitates temperature monitoring applications in the industrial and civil fields.
