Isospin and symmetry energy study in nuclear EOS

This paper summarizes the isoscaling and isospin related studies in asymmetry nuclear reactions by different dynamic and sta tistical models. Isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics model (IQMD) and lattice gas model (LGM) are used to study the isoscaling properties and isoscaling parameters dependence on incident energies, impact parameters, temperature and other parameters. In the LGM model, the signal of phase transition has been found in free neutron (proton) chemical potential dif ference Δμn or Δμp as a function of temperature, or in free neutron and proton chemical potential difference Δμn-Δμp. Density dependence of symmetry energy coefficient Csym(ρ/ρ0) is also studied in the frame of LGM, with the potential parameters which can reproduce the nuclear ground state property, soft density dependence of symmetry energy is deduced from the sim ulation results. Giant dipole resonance (GDR) induced by isospin asymmetry in entrance channel is also studied via IQMD model, and the dynamic dipole resonance shows isospin sensitivity on the isospin asymmetry of entrance channel and sym metry energy of the nuclear equation of state (EOS). GDR can also be regarded as a possible isospin sensitive signature.

Mesoporous MCM-48 membranes were prepared on asymmetric zirconia tubular support with an average pore size of 0.2 μm by hydrothermal *** support should be pretreated with H2O as a pore-filling substance to prevent the sol solution from infiltrating into the support *** SEM showed that the MCM-48 membrane was composed of tightly-connected spherical *** single gas N2 and H2 permeation experiments confirm that crack-free membrane could be prepared by pore-filling method.N2 permeance of MCM-48 membrane,synthesized by secondary growth,can reach 5.66×1.-7 mol/Pa·s·m2,and the H2/N2 separation factor was 3.47 under trans-membrane pressure of 0.05 MPa.

The(3+1.-dimensional Burgers equation, which describes nonlinear waves in turbulence and the interface dynamics,is considered. Two types of semi-rational solutions, namely, the lump–kink solution and the lump–two kinks solution, are constructed from the quadratic function ansatz. Some interesting features of interactions between lumps and other solitons are revealed analytically and shown graphically, such as fusion and fission processes.

The dynamics of the maximum entangled coherent state traveling through an amplitude damping channel is investigated. For small values of the transmissivity rate, the traveling state is very fragile to this noise channel, which suffers from the phase flip error with high probability. The entanglement decays smoothly for larger values of the transmissivity rate and speedily for smaller values of this rate. As the number of modes increases, the traveling state over this noise channel quickly loses its entanglement. The odd and even states vanish at the same value of field intensity.

The relativistic consistent angular-momentum projected shell model(ReCAPS) is used in the study of the structure and electromagnetic transitions of the low-lying states in the N=Z nucleus *** model calculations show a reasonably good agreement with the *** backbending at 1.+ is reproduced and the energy level structure suggests that neutron-proton interactions play important roles.

New three color light curves of TY Boo were acquired during five nights from February to May 2006 in the BVR bandpass using a 50-cm F/8.4 Ritchey- Chr6tien telescope （Ba50） at the Baja Astronomical Observatory （Hungary）, with a 51.×51. Apogee AP-7 CCD camera. A photometric solution of these light curves was obtained by means of the Wilson-Devinney code. The results showed that the less massive component is hotter than the more massive one, and the temperature difference between the components is △T -249 K. Long term investigation of the system based on all available data shows two stages of increase and a similar trend for decrease, which appears to be periodic behavior. A set of new light elements yields a new period （P = 0.31.1.06d） and shows a periodic decrease with the rate dP/dE -- 5.858×1.^-1. d cycle-1. 6.742×1.^-9 d yr-1.or 0.058 s century-1. The evolutionary status of the system is discussed.

POLAR is a compact polarimeter dedicated to measuring the polarization of GRBs between 50-350 *** light collection of 200 mm×6 mm×6 mm plastic bars has been simulated and optimized in order to get uniform response to X-rays at different points along one single *** to the Monte Carlo results,the amplitude uniformity strongly depends on the level of polishing of the scintillator surface and the covering.A uniformity of 89% is achieved with a prototype constructed by a non position-sensitive PMT and an array of 4×4 bars.
