Developing a well-predictive machine learning model that also offers improved interpretability is a key challenge to widen the application of artificial intelligence in various application domains. In this work, we present a Data Information integrated Neural Network (DINN) algorithm that incorporates the correlation information present in the dataset for the model development. The predictive performance of DINN is also compared with a standard artificial neural network (ANN) model. The DINN algorithm is applied on two case studies of energy systems namely energy efficiency cooling (ENC) & energy efficiency heating (ENH) of the buildings, and power generation from a 365 MW capacity industrial gas turbine. For ENC, DINN presents lower mean RMSE for testing datasets (RMSE_test = 1.23 %) in comparison with the ANN model (RMSE_test = 1.41.%). Similarly, DINN models have presented better predictive performance to model the output variables of the two case studies. The input perturbation analysis following the Gaussian distribution for noise generation reveals the order of significance of the variables, as made by DINN, can be better explained by the domain knowledge of the power generation operation of the gas turbine. This research work demonstrates the potential advantage to integrate the information present in the data for the well-predictive model development complemented with improved interpretation performance thereby opening avenues for industry-wide inclusion and other potential applications of machine learning.

Metaverse is a virtual environment where users are represented by their avatars to navigate a virtual world having strong links with its physical *** state-of-the-art Metaverse architectures rely on a cloud-based approach for avatar physics emulation and graphics rendering *** current centralized architecture of such systems is unfavorable as it suffers from several drawbacks caused by the long latency of cloud access,such as low-quality *** this end,we propose a Fog-Edge hybrid computing architecture for Metaverse applications that leverage an edge-enabled distributed computing *** applications leverage edge devices’computing power to perform the required computations for heavy tasks,such as collision detection in the virtual universe and high-computational 3D physics in virtual *** computational costs of a Metaverse entity,such as collision detection or physics emulation,are performed at the device of the associated physical *** validate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture,we simulate a distributed social Metaverse *** simulation results show that the proposed architecture can reduce the latency by 50%when compared with cloud-based Metaverse applications.

This work studied the microstructure,mechanical properties and damping properties of Mg_(95.34)Ni_(2)Y_(2.66) and Mg_(95.34)Zn_(1.Ni_(1.Y_(2.66)alloys *** difference in the evolution of the long-period stacked ordered(LPSO)phase in the two alloys during heat treatment was the *** morphology of the as-cast Mg_(95.34)Ni_(2)Y_(2.66)presented a disordered *** heat treatment at 773 K for 2 hours,the eutectic phase was integrated into the matrix,and the LPSO phase maintained the 1.R *** Zn partially replaced Ni,the crystal grains became rounded in the cast alloy,and lamellar LPSO phases and more solid solution atoms were contained in the matrix after heat treatment of the Mg_(95.34)Zn_(1.Ni_(1.Y_(2.66)*** Zn and the heat treatment had a significant effect on *** dislocation internal friction peaks and grain boundary internal friction peaks were found after temperature-dependent damping of the Mg_(95.34)Ni_(2)Y_(2.66)and Mg_(95.34)Zn_(1.Ni_(1.Y_(2.66)*** heat treatment,the dislocation peak was significantly increased,especially in the alloy Mg_(95.34)Ni_(2)Y_(2).*** annealed Mg_(95.34)Ni_(2)Y_(2.66)alloy with a rod-shaped LPSO phase exhibited a good damping performance of 0.1. atε=1.^(−3),which was due to the difference between the second phase and solid solution atom *** factors also affected the dynamic modulus of the *** results of this study will help in further development of high-damping magnesium alloys.

Research on doping modification of ZnTiO_(3) ceramics to enhance microwave dielectric properties has been hindered by poor performance,unclear structure-function *** expand the applicability of ZnTiO_(3) ceramics,this study explores Zn_(1.x)Li_(2x)TiO_(3)(O≤×≤1.ceramics using a phase engineering *** findings reveal that the introduction of Lit into the ZnTiO_(3) system initiates a multiple phase transition,starting at x=***,ilmenite ZnTiO_(3) transforms into a cubic ordered spinel phase(space group P4332).Subsequently,a transition to a disordered spinel phase(space group Fd3m)occurs at x=0.5,culminating in the formation of a monoclinic rock salt-structured LizTiO3 ***,two sets of ceramics with near-zero temperature coefficients of resonance frequency(t:)were obtained at x=0.1.and ***,the quality factor(Qxf)demonstrated a 4.4-fold increase compared to that of ZnTiO_(3) ceramics at x=0.25(1.5,01. GHz).Additionally,it was observed that the Ti4 polarization in Zn_(1.x)Li_(2x)TiO_(3) ceramics was underestimated by 1..3%-1..3%,causing the measured dielectric constant(e.)exceeding the theoretical dielectric constant(eth).The ionic polarizability of Ti*was adjusted to stabilize around 3.29 *** using multiple methods,including Phillips-van Vechten-Levine(P-V-L)theory,Raman vibrational mode analysis,bond valence,bond energy theory,and octahedral distortion,confirms that the Ti-O bonds within the octahedron predominantly affect&r,the increasing lattice energy(U)contributes to the enhancement of Qxf,and the strengthened Li-O bond energy effectively regulates Tr.

We report a novel stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)microscopy technique featuring phase-controlled light focusing and aberration corrections for rapid,deep tissue 3D chemical imaging with subcellular *** accomplish phasecontrolled SRS(PC-SRS),we utilize a single spatial light modulator to electronically tune the axial positioning of both the shortened-length Bessel pump and the focused Gaussian Stokes beams,enabling z-scanning-free optical sectioning in the *** incorporating Zernike polynomials into the phase patterns,we simultaneously correct the system aberrations at two separate wavelengths(~240 nm difference),achieving a~3-fold enhancement in signal-to-noise ratio over the uncorrected imaging ***-SRS provides>2-fold improvement in imaging depth in various samples(e.g.,polystyrene bead phantoms,porcine brain tissue)as well as achieves SRS 3D imaging speed of~1. Hz per volume for real-time monitoring of Brownian motion of polymer beads in water,superior to conventional point-scanning SRS 3D *** further utilize PC-SRS to observe the metabolic activities of the entire tumor liver in living zebrafish in cellsilent region,unraveling the upregulated metabolism in liver tumor compared to normal *** work shows that PCSRS provides unprecedented insights into morpho-chemistry,metabolic and dynamic functioning of live cells and tissue in real-time at the subcellular level.

Vanadium-based cathode materials are attractive for aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)owing to the high capacity from their open frameworks and multiple ***,the cycle stability and rate capability are still restricted by the low electrical conductivity and trapped diffusion ***,we propose an organic-inorganic co-intercalation strategy to regulate the structure of ammonium vanadate(NH_(4)V_(4)O_(1.),NVO).The introduction of Al^(3+)and polyaniline(PANI)induces the optimized layered structure and generation of urchin-like hierarchical construction(AP-NVO),based on heterogeneous nucleation and dissolution-recrystallization growth *** to these favorable features,the AP-NVO electrode delivers a desirable discharge capacity of 386 mA h g^(-1. at 1.0 A g^(-1.,high-rate capability of 263 mA h g^(-1.)at 5.0 A g^(-1. and excellent cycling stability with 80.4%capacity retention over 2000 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1..Such satisfactory electrochemical performance is believed to result from the enhanced reaction kinetics provided by the stable layered structure and a high intercalation pseudo-capacitance *** results could provide enlightening insights into the design of layered vanadium oxide cathodematerials.

Li_(3)PO_(4)@Li_(0.99)K_(0.01.Ni_(0.83)Co_(0.1.)Mn_(O.06)O_(2)(NCM-KP) cathode powders are synthesized via K^(+)doping in calcination processes and H_3PO_4 coating in sol-gel processes.K^(+) precisely enters into the lattice to widen the(003) plane to 0.4746 nm with a lower cationic disordered degree of 1.87%.Moreover,the surface residual lithium salts are treated by H_3PO_4 to generate a uniform Li_(3)PO_(4) coating layer of approximately 1..41.nm,which completely covers on the surface of secondary spherical particles to improve the interfacial *** 25℃,the NCM-KP electrode delivers a discharge specific capacity of 1.8.9 mAh·g^(-1. with a remarkable capacity retention ratio of 84.1. after 200 cycles at 1.0C and retains a high reversible specific capacity of 1.4.4 mAh·g^(-1. at *** at 1.0C and 60℃,it can maintain a reversible discharge specific capacity of 1.4.6 mAh·g^(-1. with 0.21. of capacity decay per cycle after 200 cycles,which is significantly lower than 0.40% for the pristine NCM ***,the charge transfer resistance of 238.89 Ω for the NCM-KP electrode is significantly lower than 947.41.Ω for the pristine NCM one by restricting the interfacial side ***,combining K+doping and Li_(3)PO_(4) coating is an effective strategy to enable the significant improvement of the electrochemical property of high-nickel cathode materials,which may be mainly attributed to the widened diffusion pathway and the formed Li_(3)PO_(4) protective layer,thus promoting Li~+diffusion rate and preventing the erosion of HF.
