This paper presents new high-resolution proxies and paleoclimatic reconstructions for studying climate changes in China for the past 2000 years. Multi-proxy synthesized reconstructions show that temperature variation in China has exhibited significant 50–70-yr, 1.0–1.0-yr, and 200–250-yr cycles. Results also show that the amplitudes of decadal and centennial temperature variation were 1.3℃ and 0.7℃, respectively, with the latter significantly correlated with long-term changes in solar radiation, especially cold periods, which correspond approximately to sunspot minima. The most rapid warming in China occurred over AD 1.70–2000, at a rate of 0.56°± 0.42℃（1.0 yr）^（-1.; however, temperatures recorded in the 20 th century may not be unprecedented for the last 2000 years, as data show records for the periods AD 981.1.00 and AD1.01.70 are comparable to the present. The ensemble means of dryness/wetness spatial patterns in eastern China across all centennial warm periods illustrate a tripole pattern： dry south of 25°N, wet from 25°–30°N, and dry to the north of 30°N. However, for all centennial cold periods, this spatial pattern also exhibits a meridional distribution. The increase in precipitation over the monsoonal regions of China associated with the 20 th century warming can primarily be attributed to a mega El Nino–Southern Oscillation and the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation. In addition, a significant association between increasing numbers of locusts and dry/cold conditions is found in eastern China. Plague intensity also generally increases in concert with wetness in northern China, while more precipitation is likely to have a negative effect in southern China.

This study was conducted to determine genetic diversity and antimicrobial susceptibility profiles of Staphylococcus aureus recovered from bovine mastiffs in Zhejiang Province, China. Out of 31.8 quarter milk samples from 846 lactating cows, among which 459 cows （54.3%） were found HMT positive, 890 quarters （28%） were found having subclinical mastitis. From 75 representative S. aureus isolates, 1. distinct types were identified by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis （PFGE）. Four major PFGE types （A, B, C, and D） accounted for 82.7% of all isolates, and type A （41.3%） was observed in multiple herds across the studied areas. Each region was found to have a predominant type： Hangzhou type A （64.1.）, Ningbo type C （34.5%） and type B （23.1.）, Jinhua type D （53.3%）, and Taizhou type C （62.5%）. Results of antimicrobial susceptibility tests showed that 90.7% of the isolates were resistant to at least one antimicrobial. Resistance to penicillin and ampicillin （77.3%）, tetracycline （60.0%）, or erythromycin （48.0%） was observed. The bacteria resistant to multiple antibiotics such as penicillin, ampicillin, tetracycline, and erythromycin were commonly found. The information obtained from this study is useful for designing specific control programs for bovine S. aureus mastitis in this region.

In this study,D→P(π,K) helicity form factors(HFFs) are investigated by applying the QCD light-cone sum rule(LCSR) *** calculation accuracy is up to the next-to-leading order(NLO) gluon radiation correction of twist-(2,3) distribution *** resultant HFFs at a large recoil point are Pt,0π(0)=0.688-0.024+0.020 and Pt,0K(O)=0.780-0.029+0.024,in which the contributions from the three particles of the leading order(LO) are so small that they can be safely *** maximal contribution of the NLO gluon radiation correction for Pt,0r,K(0) is less than3%.After extrapolating the LCSR predictions for these HFFs to the whole q2-region,we obtain the decay widths for semileptonic decay processes D→Plvl,which are consistent with the BES-Ⅲ collaboration predictions within error *** considering the D+/D0-meson lifetime,we give the branching fractions of D→Plvl with l=e,μ;our predictions also agree with the BES-Ⅲ collaboration results within error limits,especially for the D→πlvl decay ***,we present the forward-backward asymmetry AFBl(q2) and lepton convexity parameter CFl(q2),and further calculate the mean value of these two observations, and {CFl),which may provide a way to test those HFFs in future experiments.

Reprogrammed cellular metabolism is essential for maintaining cancer stem cells(CSCs)***,we report that mitochondrial D-lactate catabolism is a necessary initiating oncogenic event during tumorigenesis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).We discover that cyclin-dependent kinase 7(CDK7)phosphorylates nuclear Yes-associated protein 1.YAP)at S1.7 and S397 sites and enhances its transcription function,which promotes D-lactate dehydrogenase(LDHD)protein ***,LDHD is enriched significantly in ESCC-CSCs rather than differentiated tumor cells and high LDHD status is connected with poor prognosis in ESCC ***,the CDK7-YAP-LDHD axis helps ESCC-CSCs escape from ferroptosis induced by D-lactate and generates pyruvate to satisfy energetic demands for their elevated self-renewal ***,we conclude that esophageal CSCs adopt a D-lactate elimination and pyruvate accumulation mode dependent on CDK7-YAP-LDHD axis,which drives stemness-associated hallmarks of ***,targeting metabolic checkpoints may serve as an effective strategy for ESCC therapy.

To develop polarizer functioning in the extreme ultraviolet （EUV） and soft X-ray region, the polarization performance of synthetic mica has been investigated theoretically with a simulation code using Fresnel equations and optical constants from the Henke database. The reflectance of synthetic mica crystal for s and p polarization was measured to investigate its polarization performance in a home-made synchrotron radiation soft X-ray polarimeter at beamline 3W1., {1. Synchrotron radiation Facility （BSRF）. The reflectivity of the synthetic mica crystal at an angle of grazing incidence of 48° was obtained from the experimental data, which is about 4.8 × 1.-3 at 25 nm and 6.0 × 1.-4 at 1. nm, and the linear polarizance of the X-ray reflected by the synthetic mica crystal that we measured using an analyzer-rotating method increases from 80% to 96.6% in this EUV region, while higher than 98.2% in the simulation. The result indicates that this synthetic mica crystal works as a practical polarizer in this EUV region of 1.-25 nm, and also in an extensive wavelength region higher than 25 nm.
