Layered double hydroxides(LDHs),known as typical two-dimensional materials with unique physicochemical properties,are reg.rded as promising.candidates in energy storag. ***,some inherent defects,such as poor conductivity and limited active sites,hinder the further development of ***,various functionalization strateg.es(e.g.,intercalation of g.est molecules;metal ions doping.and defect introduction of host layer;exfoliation to monolayer;hybridization with functional materials;construction of hierarchical structure;interface eng.neering.and phase transformation)have been used to modify the characteristics of LDHs,which provides g.idance for desig.ing.novel *** this review,we discuss how these strateg.es improve the properties of LDH-based materials,which are expected to possess hig. electronic and ionic conductivity,hig. specific surface area and hig. mechanical and chemical stability ***,the application of LDH-based materials in advanced energy conversion and storag. techniques,including.metal-ions batteries,lithium-sulfur batteries and metal-air batteries,have been comprehensively summarized.

To demonstrate flexible and tandem device applications,a low-temperature Cu_(2)ZnSnSe_(4)(CZTSe)deposition process,combined with efficient alkali doping.was ***,hig.-quality CZTSe films were g.own at 480℃by a sing.e co-evaporation,which is applicable to polyimide(PI)*** of the alkali-free substrate,Na and K alkali doping.were systematically studied and optimized to precisely control the alkali distribution in *** bulk defect density was sig.ificantly reduced by suppression of deep acceptor states after the(NaF+KF)*** the low-temperature deposition with(NaF+KF)PDTs,the CZTSe device on g.ass yields the best efficiency of 8.1.with an improved Voc deficit of 646 *** developed deposition technolog.es have been applied to *** the first time,we report the hig.est efficiency of 6.92%for flexible CZTSe solar cells on ***,CZTSe devices were utilized as bottom cells to fabricate four-terminal CZTSe/perovskite tandem cells because of a low bandg.p of CZTSe(~1.0 eV)so that the tandem cell yielded an efficiency of 20%.The obtained results show that CZTSe solar cells prepared by a low-temperature process with in-situ alkali doping.can be utilized for flexible thin-film solar cells as well as tandem device applications.

Electrochemical nitrog.n reduction reaction(NRR)is a sustainable alterna-tive to the Haber-Bosch process for ammonia(NH3)***,the sig.ificant uphill energy in the multistep NRR pathway is a bottleneck for favorable serial *** overcome this challeng.,we desig.ed a vanadium oxide/nitride(V_(2)O_(3)/VN)hybrid electrocatalyst in which V_(2)O_(3)and VN coex-ist coherently at the heterog.neous *** sing.e-phase V_(2)O_(3)and VN exhibit different surface catalytic kinetics for NRR,the V_(2)O_(3)/VN hybrid elec-trocatalyst can provide alternating.reaction pathways,selecting.a lower energy pathway for each material in the serial NRR *** a result,the ammo-nia yield of the V_(2)O_(3)/VN hybrid electrocatalyst was 21..6µg.h^(-1.cm^(-2),and the Faradaic efficiency was 1..9%,which is much hig.er than that of sing.e-phase VN,V_(2)O_(3),and VNxOy solid solution catalysts without *** functional theory calculations confirmed that the composition of these hybrid electrocatalysts allows NRR to proceed from a multistep reduction reaction to a low-energy reaction pathway throug. the mig.ation and adsorption of interme-diate ***,the desig. of metal oxide/nitride hybrids with coherent heterointerfaces provides a novel strateg. for synthesizing.hig.ly efficient elec-trochemical catalysts that induce steps favorable for the efficient low-energy prog.ession of NRR.

In the contemporary context,tetracycline is widely utilized as a prevalent antibiotic in various facets of ***,the excessive use of antibiotics has caused visible environmental ***,the scientific community has increasing.y focused on developing.catalysts that exhibit exceptional efficacy in the proficient deg.adation of *** this study,a novel nanomaterial was developed to encapsulate Cd Te quantum dots （QDs） with a *** distinct synthesis approach g.nerated a composite material that showed heterog.neity and considerably increased the contact area with ***,the transfer of photoelectron to the SiO2spheres was sig.ificantly improved,leading.to a more efficient separation during.the catalytic *** study investig.ted how different factors,such as the loading.of the catalyst,the initial concentration of tetracycline,p H levels,and the wig.t ratio of Cd Te QDs （SiO2+Cd Te QDs） affected the effectiveness of photocatalytic tetracycline *** finding. indicated that the optimal deg.adation efficiency was observed at a catalyst concentration of 0.25 g.L and a solution p H of 9,leading.to an impressive deg.adation rate of 96%within a mere 2 h timeframe.
