In this paper, an estimation method for reliability parameter in the case of zero-failuare data-synthetic estimation method is given. For zero-failure data of double-parameter exponential distribution, a hierarchical Bayesian estimation of the failure probability is presented. After failure information is introduced, hierarchical Bayesian estimation and synthetic estimation of the failure probability, as well as synthetic estimation of reliability are given. Calculation and analysis are performed regarding practical problems in case that life distribution of an engine obeys double-parameter exponential distribution.

Based on the zero-failure data of 30 Chinese 1. 5 MW wind turbine gearboxes( WTGs),the optimal confidence limit method was developed to predict the reliability and reliability lifetime of WTG. Firstly,Bayesian method and classical probability estimation method were introduced to estimate the value interval of shape parameter considering the engineering practice. Secondly,taking this value interval into the optimal confidence limit method,the reliability and reliability lifetime of WTG could be obtained under different confidence levels. Finally,the results of optimal confidence limit method and Bayesian method were compared. And the comparison results show that the rationality of this estimated ***, the rule of confidence level selection in the optimal confidence limit method is provided, and the reliability and reliability lifetime prediction of WTG can be acquired.

This paper develops a new method, named E-Bayesian estimation method, to estimate the reliability parameters. The E-Bayesian estimation method of the reliability are derived for the zero-failure data from the product with Binomial distribution. Firstly, for the product reliability, the definitions of E-Bayesian estimation were given, and on the base, expressions of the E-Bayesian estimation and hierarchical Bayesian estimation of the products reliability was given. Secondly, discuss properties of the E-Bayesian estimation. Finally, the new method is applied to a real zero-failure data set, and as can be seen, it is both efficient and easy to operate.

This paper develops a new method of parametric estimate, which is named as 'synthesized expected Bayesian method'. When samples of products are tested and no failure events occur, the definition of expected Bayesian estimate is introduced and the estimates of failure probability and failure rate are provided. After some failure information is introduced by making an extra-test, a synthesized expected Bayesian method is defined and used to estimate failure probability, failure rate and some other parameters in exponential distribution and Weibull distribution of populations. Finally, calculations are performed according to practical problems, which show that the synthesized expected Bayesian method is feasible and easy to operate.
