wind generator Stabilization with Doubly-Fed Asynchronous Machine

This paper investigates the function of doubly-fed asynchronous machine(DASM)with emphasis placed on its ability to the stabilization of the power system including wind generators.P(active power)and Q(reactive power)compensation from DASM can be regulated independently through secondary-excitation *** results by power system computer aided design(PSCAD)show that DASM can restore the wind-generator system to a normal operating condition rapidly even following severe transmission-line *** studies have also been performed between wind turbine pitch control and proposed method.

Setpoint Feasibility and Stability of wind Park Control Interactions at Weak Grids

The controllers of wind parks that are connected to weak grids can induce unstable oscillations near the fundamental *** phenomenon can be studied with equivalent impedances of the wind generators,which depend on their operational setpoints at the fundamental *** feasibility of such setpoint,i.e.,solution to the power flow,does not depend on the control ***,oscillations from unfeasible setpoints and control instabilities both occur at weak grids and near the fundamental *** letter presents an exploratory study to map the conditions where both phenomena occur,using sensitivity studies comprising multiple setpoints and control parameter *** results are visually presented as the regions which inform the configurations leading to unfeasible setpoints,and unstable control interaction *** the results,it can be observed that the trajectory of the eigenvalues in the Nyquist plots towards an unfeasible setpoint approaches a fundamental frequency instability.

wind farms are integrated with the power grid system to provide active and reactive *** in a wind farm,wind turbines(WTs)are highly coupled to their operating conditions,a central wind farm supervisory unit must take into account these conditions when producing power control references for each *** aim of this paper is to man-age and control the active and reactive power of wind farms based on squirrel cage induction generators and back-to-back *** proportional distribution algorithm is used for distributing wind farm power to individual *** addition,we consider the development of a local power management and control units for *** is in order to extract the maximum available power from the wind,and to provide the active and reactive power predetermined by the transmission system operator,or to satisfy the grid code requirements considering Low Voltage Ride-through *** power dispatch strategy is to be used on all WTs using the distribution algorithm while ensuring the control loops using the proposed Active Disturbance Rejection Control *** results demonstrate that the proposed strategies are efficient and can guarantee the safe integration of wind farms into the grid while respecting grid code requirements and power system stability.

wind power can provide pollution free power, and occupies a considerable proportion in power grid, but because the wind speed and wind direction is changing, its operating conditions and the safety and reliability of the entire power grid is directly related. With the continuous improvement of the capacity of wind farms, the impact on the grid will become more and more obvious, reliable wind power grid control technology research becomes necessary. This paper studies the characteristics of decentralized wind power plant electrical system. Due to the small number of wind turbines and the lack of power distribution, the integrated design of wind turbine system is difficult to realize. Through the design of integrated control system, centralized control to achieve decentralized wind turbine operation. Based on the characteristics of decentralized power plant, decentralized wind power plant is directly connected with the power grid, the wind turbine is running independently, without centralized power flow control, distributed wind farm integrated control system design.
