Effects of Vertex Activity and Self-organized Criticality Behavior on a weighted evolving network

Effects of vertex activity have been analyzed on a weighted evolving *** network is characterized by the probability distribution of vertex strength,each edge weight and evolution of the strength of vertices with different vertex *** model exhibits self-organized criticality *** probability distribution of avalanche size for different network sizes is also *** addition,there is a power law relation between the size and the duration of an avalanche and the average of avalanche size has been studied for different vertex activities.

Many real systems possess accelerating statistics where the total number of edges grows faster than the number of nodes and the growth is *** this paper,we present a novel weighted network model with accelerating ***,in contrast with previous models where weights are assigned statically or rearranged locally,we allow the flows to be widely *** model gives power-law distributions of degree,weight and strength,as confirmed in many real ***,the exponents are nonuniversal and depend on two network *** it shows that the droop-head and heavy-tail properties of these distributions,which are observed in many real-world networks,can be reflected by this new network *** turns out that the strength highly correlates with the degree and displays scale-free property,which is in consistence with empirical *** are provided to demonstrate the theoretical results.
