water injection has shown to be one of the most successful,efficient,and cost-effective reservoir management *** re-injecting treated and filtered water into reservoirs,this approach can help maintain reservoir pressure,increase hydrocarbon output,and reduce the environmental *** goal of this project is to create a water injection model utilizing Eclipse reservoir simulation software to better understand water injection methods for reservoir pressure maintenance.A basic reservoir model is utilized in this *** simulation designs,the reservoir length,breadth,and thickness may be changed to different *** water-oil contact was discovered at 7000 feet,and the reservoir pressure was recorded at 3000 pounds per square inch at a depth of 6900 *** aquifer chosen was of the Fetkovich type and was linked to the reservoir in the j+*** porosity was estimated to be varied,ranging from 9%to 16%.The residual oil saturation was set to 25%and the irreducible water saturation was set at 20%.The vertical permeability was set at 50 md as a *** Volume Temperature(PVT)data was used to estimate the gas and water characteristics.

Experimental methods,including mercury pressure,nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)and core(wateroil)displacement,are used to examine the effects of high-multiple water injection(*** injection with high injected pore volume)on rock properties,pore structure and oil displacement efficiency of an oilfield in the western South China *** results show an increase in the permeability of rocks along with particle migration,an increase in the pore volume and the average pore throat radius,and enhanced heterogeneity after high-multiple water *** with normal water injection methods,a high-multiple water injection is more effective in improving the oil displacement *** degree of recovery increases faster in the early stage due to the expansion of the swept area,and the transition from oil-wet to *** degree of recovery increases less in the late stage due to various factors,including the enhancement of heterogeneity in the *** both the economic aspect and the production limit of water flooding,it is recommended to adopt other technologies to further enhance oil recovery after 300 PV water injection.

To study the effectiveness of hydrofoil surface water injection on cavitation suppression,the unsteady cavitation flow field around the NACA0066 hydrofoil at attack angle of 6°was simulated by the modified RNG k-εturbulence model combined with the full-cavitation *** structure of cavitation flow field and the hydrodynamic performance of hydrofoil were analyzed at the cavitation number of 0.85,0.70,0.55,*** results show that barriered by the jet,the momentum of the reentrant jet was reduced;The development of cavitation and the strength of cavity shedding were weakened to some *** suppression effect was very obvious in the cavitation conditions with the cavitation number of 0.7 and above when the injection position was at 37% chord length from the hydrofoil leading edge and the jet-flow ratio kept ***-averaged lift and drag coefficient were reduced,and the lift-drag ratio increased in water injection conditions.

This paper focuses on the impacts of injection and ambient temperatures on direct water injection in internal combustion enginesthrough experimental and numerical ***,the study was carried out by utilizing Schlieren method combined with a high-speed camera for simultaneous liquid-gas *** was directly injected into a constant volume vessel which is capable of providing stable boundaries.A self-established Matlab program wasused for the calculation of spray tip penetration and cone *** thefurther extension of boundary conditions,a numerical model was established and calibrated in AVL-Fire for the thorough analysis of injection *** experimental and numerical results indicate that injection and ambient temperatures show different effects on spray tip *** increase in injection temperature leads to shorter spray tip penetration,while the spray tip penetration rises with the increase inambient ***,the increase in injection and ambient temperatures can both decline spray cone ***,the simulation results also suggest that heat conduction is a main factor in boosting evaporation process under top dead center *** internal energy of water parcels surges,these parcels evaporate *** results are helpful and crucial in internal combustion engines equipped with direct water injection technology.

Pulsed plasma discharge was employed to inactivate bacteria in the injection water for an oil field. The effects of water conductivity and initial concentration of bacteria on elimination efficiency were investigated in the batch and continuous flow modes. It was demonstrated that Fe2＋ contained in injection water could enhance the elimination efficiency greatly. The addition of reducing agent glutathione （GSH） indicated that active radicals generated by pulsed plasma discharges played an important role in the inactivation of bacteria. Moreover, it was found that the microbial inactivation process for both batch and continuous flow mode well fitted the model based on the Weibull＇s survival function.

Reduction in water injectivity would be harmful to the waterflood development of offshore sandstone oil reservoirs. In this paper the magnitude of formation damage during water injection was evaluated by analyzing the performance of water injection in the Bohai offshore oilfield, China. Two parameters, permeability reduction and rate of wellhead pressure rise, were proposed to evaluate the formation damage around injection wells. The pressure performance curve could be divided into three stages with different characteristics. Analysis of field data shows that formation damage caused by water injection was severe in some wells in the Bohai offshore oilfield, China. In the laboratory, the content of clay minerals in reservoir rock was analyzed and sensitivity tests （including sensitivity to water, ftow rate, alkali, salt and acid） were also conducted. Experimental results show that the reservoir had a strong to medium sensitivity to water （i.e. clay swelling） and a strong to medium sensitivity to flow rate, which may cause formation damage. For formation damage prevention, three injection schemes of clay stabilizer （CS） were studied, i.e. continuous injection of low concentration CS （CI）, slug injection of high concentration CS （SI）, and slug injection of high concentration CS followed by continuous injection of low concentration CS （SI-CI）. Core flooding experiments show that SI-CI is an effective scheme to prevent formation damage and is recommended for the sandstone oil reservoirs in the Bohai offshore oilfield during water injection.

The Triassic massive sandstone reservoir in the Tahe oilfield has a strong bottom-water drive and is characterized by great burial depth,high temperature and salinity,a thin pay zone,and strong *** present,the water-cut is high in each block within the reservoir;some wells are at an ultrahigh water-cut stage.A lack of effective measures to control water-cut rise and stabilize oil production have necessitated the application of enhanced oil recovery(EOR)*** paper investigates the development and technological advances for oil reservoirs with strong edge/bottom-water drive globally,and compares their application to reservoirs with characteristics similar to the Tahe *** the technological advances,gas injection from the top and along the direction of structural dip has been used to optimize the flow field in a typical bottom-water drive ***-water coning is restrained by gas injection-assisted water *** addition,increasing the lateral driving pressure differential improves the plane sweep efficiency which enhances oil recovery in *** injection technology in combination with technological measures like channeling prevention and blocking,and water plugging and profile control,can achieve better results in reservoir *** flooding tests in the Tahe oilfield are of great significance to identifying which EOR technology is the most effective and has the potential of large-scale application for improving development of deep reservoirs with a strong bottomwater drive.

Injecting water into the main pipeline is a common method to prevent the ammonium salt corrosion in hydrogenation *** use of spray nozzle can enhance the effects of washing ammonium salt and reduce the risk of ammonium salt *** droplet atomization and evaporation model were used to investigate the mixing process of injecting water and gas-oil mixture in a high-pressure *** effects of some key parameters including fluid velocity,temperature,and droplet volume fraction on the mixing and vaporization process were *** simulation results show that with the increase of injecting water flow rate,the fluid velocity increases and the temperature decreases *** the mass flow rate of injecting water is 1.5 t/h,the droplet has the maximum evaporation efficiency and the volume fraction reaches a minimum ***,with the increase of atomization angle and droplet size,the mean velocity and the temperature of fluid decrease *** increase of atomization angle or the decrease of droplet size will accelerate the evaporation process of droplets and reduce the droplet volume fraction,which indicates that the droplet slip velocity and the contact area are the key factors affecting the droplet evaporation rate.
