Scientific curriculum evaluation methods are critical for achieving talent training *** Sydney Accord,one of the three major engineering education certification agreements,focuses on the training of“engineering technologists.”Its logical system and three core principles align well with the connotation development of professional construction in China’s higher vocational colleges,offering significant insights for promoting reform and development in engineering education in Chinese colleges and *** incorporating the core principles,elements,and graduate quality defined in the Sydney Accord and focusing on the evaluation of curriculum achievement against“graduation requirements,”the quality of vocational education can be enhanced,making it an important direction for future teaching reforms in vocational education.

Choice for China:What Role for vocational education in Green Growth?

Green growth cannot succeed without significant changes in the education system and the closely related social division of labor. This paper combines historical evidence and a game-theoretic analysis to study the relation between vocational education and green growth. It is found that a low-vocation and a high-vocation equilibrium can be distinguished in the interplay between education and labor markets, and that a high-vocation equilibrium is better suited for green growth. A t the present stage of development, there are tendencies in both directions in China. Therefore, China has the possibility to successfully implement a green growth strategy by developing a strong vocational education with Chinese characteristics.

Few would deny the contribution of vocational education on economic growth and social development, but the spatial dynamics behind the economic role of vocational education in transition economies has not been examined by the literature on economics of education. Specifically, two hypotheses are tested. First, the economic growth and vocational education development have significant global spatial autocorrelation, which means the development of economy and vocational education of one province depends on the economic or education level of neighboring provinces. Second, the economic growth and vocational education development have significant local spatial *** per capital GDP and vocational education scale data of 31 provinces in China from 1995 to 2008,both hypotheses are supported. Finally, the results show that the elasticity with spatial metrics is1.522, which means the stronger economic role of vocational education because the elasticity is larger than 1, while the elasticity without spatial dynamics is only 0.926 which implies the weak economic role of vocational education. It also shows that the OLS model is confronted with the risk of spurious regression without considering spatial dynamics and the spatial error model is preferred because it’s robust.

This thesis makes an analysis of the current situation of higher vocational education teachers, illustrates professional ability constitution of teachers engaged in higher vocational education, and discusses the approaches to cultivate young teachers. It finally arrives at a conclusion that in order to enable young teachers to grow into excellent higher vocational education teachers, there should be the cultivation of creativity of young teachers on the basis of cultivation of general ability and special ability; moreover, young teachers should be continuously encouraged, vocational education recognition be improved, and vocational education teachers construction be stabilized.
