network virtualization has been a particularly important driving force behind the development of NGN. Finding effective ways to control self-adapting virtual networks has become a research hot spot. This paper tries to find an efficient way in combining dynamic resource sensing with traffic character and requirements in virtual network, based on that an intelligent cognition based virtual network resources management model has been put forward. We design a network topology view by coloring network topology matrix with current resources model. We present an intelligent virtual resource management mechanism based on the proposed network topology view. Experiment results illustrate that the proposed mechanism can improve VN capacity by automatic resource adjustment, which can obtain high utilization of VN resources without increasing computational expenses.

The basic mobile IP protocol is difficult to implement on the traditional IP network and not flexible and efficient under certain conditions. For example, firewalls or bound- ary routers may drop packets sent by mobile nodes for security reasons. Traditional networking devices such as routers cannot dynamically load and unload extended services to achieve differ- ent qualities of services. In this paper, a new scheme of using the active network to support the mobile IP is presented. The Softnet, a prototype of active networks based on mobile agents, is introduced. The active network is characterized by the programmability of its intermediate nodes and therefore presents dynamic and flexible behaviors. Special services can be dynam- ically deployed onto the active nodes in the Softnet. This property is definitely required in implementing the mobile IP protocols. The Softnet supports not only the basic mobile IP pro- tocol but also other extended mobiIe IP protocols. virtual networks for mobile IP services are dynamically formed by mobile agents in the Softnet to provide different qualities of services.

As a key technology to realize smart services of Internet of Things（IoT）, network virtualization technology can support the network diversification and ubiquity, and improve the utilization rate of network resources. This paper studies the service-ori- ented network virtualization architecture for loT services. Firstly the semantic description method for loT services is proposed, then the resource representation model and resource management model in the environment of network virtualization are presented. Based on the above models, the service-oriented virtual network architecture for loT is established. Finally, a smart campus system is designed and deployed based on the service-oriented virtual network architecture. Moreover, the proposed architecture and models are verified in experiments.

network coding has been considered as one of the effective strategies that improve the throughput of multi- hop wireless networks. In order to effectively apply network coding techniques to the real multi-hop wireless networks, a practical network coding aware routing protocol is proposed in this paper, for unicast sessions in multi- hop wireless networks. The protocol is based on a novel routing metric design that captures the characteristics of network coding and unicast sessions. To ensure the novel routing mettle can operate with practical and widely available path calculation algorithms, a unique mapping process is used to map a real wireless network to a virtual network. The mapping process ensures that the paths with the biggest coding opportunities will be selected by commonly used path calculation algorithms. Simulation results show that the proposed routing protocol is effective to improve the network throughput.
