The lepton flavor violating signal of the extra gauge boson Z′in photon-photon collision at the ILC

The hitherto unconstrained lepton flavor mixings,induced by the new gauge boson Z ,which are the prediction of many new physics models,such as topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) models and flavor-universal TC2 models,may lead to the lepton flavor violating productions of τμˉ,τeˉ and μeˉ in photon-photon collision at the proposed International Linear Collider (ILC).Through a comparative analysis of these processes,we find that the better channel to probe the new physics models is the production of τμˉ or τeˉ which occurs at a much higher rate than μeˉ production due to the large mixing angle and the large flavor changing coupling,and may reach the detectable level of the ILC for a large part of the parameter *** the rates predicted by the Standard Model are far below the detectable level,these processes may serve as a sensitive probe for such new physics models.

Humor not only exists in people's daily life,but also through sketch,cross talk talk show,stand-up Comedy and other forms of performance to bring people *** scholars analyze Joe Wong's stand-up comedy from the Relevance *** few scholars analyze it from the Cooperative *** on a review of previous studies on stand-up comedy,this thesis selects some classic utterances from stand-up comedy of Joe Wong at Radio and Television Correspondent's Association Dinner(RTCA dinner),The David Letterman Show and The Ellen Show as a research corpus and studies the humor is created from the perspective of violating of the Cooperative Principle,and then attempts to help people understanding and appreciating American humor *** thesis finds violating the Cooperative Principle(CP)is an important way for talk show performers to create humor,which will help them make people ***,during this way,they can use many rhetoric tactics to help them,such as irony,exaggeration and *** thesis has important significances for the study of talk show's humor with the help of flouting the ***,it contributes to the development of the talk show ***,it can add more interesting things to communication and help the Chinese audiences to comprehend the American humor from a different ***,it riches the theories of humor by violating the CP in the talk show programs.

Co-operative Principle of Conversation and Humor in English

Language humor is a usual phenomenon in human communication. It is an interdisciplinary subject connected with a wide range of learning. Up to now, a great deal of research has been done from the viewpoint of psychology and sociology. In the field of linguistics, some explorations have already been made in regard to its semantic and rhetorical aspects, but due attention has not been paid to it in pragmatics in that in everyday verbal communication, humorous utterances are easy to enjoy but hard to define. Apart from its capability of laughter-making, language humor is more often than not, produced to implicitly perform some communicative functions, not achievable by explicit expressions. This the - sis, based on the fruitful studies of humor, attempts to investigate the mechanisms of English humor from the perspective of a new theory 一 Co- operative Principle.

Analysis of conversational implicatures in sentences and text

Grice＇s conversational implicatures have aroused far more attention in linguistics than have his conventional implicatures. The basic idea is that language-activity, most typically, is a kind of rational （and purposive） social interaction governed by the principle of co-operation. In what may now be regarded as his classic formulation of this principle, Grice recognized several kinds of co-operation which he grounded under the headings of quantity, quality, relation and manner. Each of these comprises a set of one or more subprinciples, formulated by Grice as prescriptive maxim, which participants normally obey, but may on occasion flout or violate. Those were analyzed and given examples in sentences and text in this paper.
