Tourism can form an important component of a nation＇s GDP, and vietnam is among the most visited countries in Southeast Asia. Most studies on personal exposure focus on the general population, or occupational cohorts with exposure to specific pollutants. However, short-term exposure to air pollutants while visiting regions with high levels of air pollution can lead to acute health effects. A personal exposure study was conducted across three cities in vietnam to estimate exposure to particulate matter （PM2.5） and black carbon for tourists. Measurements were conducted during the wet season in 2014 in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Lat and Nha Trang using portable instrumentation. Average 24-hr PM2.5 and BC exposures were estimated as 18.9 ± 9.24 and 3.41 ± 1.33 μg/m3 and among the three cities, Ho Chi Minh was found to have the highest PM2.5 concentrations. Environmental tobacco smoke, commuting and street food stands were found to contribute to highest levels of exposure to PM2.s and BC across all cities.

Linking meteorology and air pollutants is a key *** study investigated meteorological effects on PM_(2.5)concentration using the advanced convergent cross mapping method,utilizing hourly PM_(2.5)concentration and six meteorological factors across eight provinces and cities in *** demonstrated that temperature(ρ=0.30)and radiation(ρ=0.30)produced the highest effects,followed by humidity(ρ=0.28)and wind speed(ρ=0.24),while pressure(ρ=0.22)and wind direction(ρ=0.17)produced the weakest effects on PM_(2.5)*** theρvalues showed that temperature,wind speed,and wind direction had greater impacts on PM_(2.5)concentration during the dry season whereas radiation had a more influence during the wet season;Southern stations experienced larger meteorological ***,humidity,pressure,and wind direction had both positive and negative influences on PM_(2.5)concentration,while radiation and wind speed mostly had negative *** PM_(2.5)pollution episodes,there wasmore contribution ofmeteorological effects on PM_(2.5)concentration indicated byρ*** contaminated levels,humidity(ρ=0.45)was the most dominant factor affecting PM_(2.5)concentration,followed by temperature(ρ=0.41)and radiation(ρ=0.40).Pollution episodes were pointed out to be more prevalent under higher humidity,higher pressure,lower temperature,lower radiation,and lower wind ***ρcalculation also revealed that lower temperature,lower radiation,and higher humidity greatly accelerated each other under pollution episodes,further enhancing PM_(2.5)*** findings contributed to the literature on meteorology and air pollution interaction.

The groundwater potential map is an important tool for a sustainable water management and land use planning,particularly for agricultural countries like *** this article,we proposed new machine learning ensemble techniques namely AdaBoost ensemble(ABLWL),Bagging ensemble(BLWL),Multi Boost ensemble(MBLWL),Rotation Forest ensemble(RFLWL)with Locally Weighted Learning(LWL)algorithm as a base classifier to build the groundwater potential map of Gia Lai province in *** this study,eleven conditioning factors(aspect,altitude,curvature,slope,Stream Transport Index(STI),Topographic Wetness Index(TWI),soil,geology,river density,rainfall,land-use)and 134 wells yield data was used to create training(70%)and testing(30%)datasets for the development and validation of the *** statistical indices were used namely Positive Predictive Value(PPV),Negative Predictive Value(NPV),Sensitivity(SST),Specificity(SPF),Accuracy(ACC),Kappa,and Receiver Operating Characteristics(ROC)curve to validate and compare performance of *** show that performance of all the models is good to very good(AUC:0.75 to 0.829)but the ABLWL model with AUC=0.89 is the *** the models applied in this study can support decision-makers to streamline the management of the groundwater and to develop economy not only of specific territories but also in other regions across the world with minor changes of the input parameters.

A new species of the agamid genus Japalura is described based on three specimens from southern part of Central vietnam. It is distinguished from remaining congeners by the following combination of characters： adult size （SVL females 68-69 mm）, tail length/SVL ratio 226%-239%, HW/SVL ratio 17%-18%; FLL/SVL ratio 41%43%; HLL/SVL ratio 72%-73%; 7-9 supralabials, 7-9 infralabials, 54-56 middorsal scales, 20-22 lamellae under finger IV, 24-26 lamellae under toe IV, 1 scale between nasal and supralabials; tympanum concealed; absence of transverse gular fold. The geographical distribution of Japalura genus in general and of a new species in particular is discussed.

China attracted a record of US$52.7× 10^9 in foreign direct investment （FDI） in the year 2002, surpassing the United States to become the world＇s largest FDI recipient. China＇s success in attracting FDI has received significant attention from academics. Several theoretical approaches have been developed to explain the determinants of FDI in China. However, it seems to be ignored that China has also become a growing provider of significant FDI to the rest of the world. According to United Nations Conference on Trade and Developlnent （UNCTAD）＇s 2004 report, as a developing country, replacing Japan, China has made the list of the expected top five home countries worldwide for the first time in terms of geographical coverage （2004-2005）. vietnam is second largest market and another emerging transition tiger in Southeast Asia. Both China and vietnam were and are experiencing transitions from centrally planned economy to free market economy. This paper, therefore, attempts to explore the development of Chinese investment in vietnam, analysing the main motives for, and characteristics of, Chinese Multinational Enterprises＇（MNEs） investment in vietnam.

Piaoac Granites Related W-Sn Mineralization, Northern vietnam: Evidences from Geochemistry, Zircon Geochronology and Hf Isotopes

Piaoac granites exposed in the Cao Bang region, northern vietnam, are S-type granite, which are associated with W-Sn-Mo-Be-F mineralization. Zircon U-Pb ages, major and trace elements, mineral chemical and Hf isotopic compositions of the W-Sn-bearing granites from the Piaoac District have been investigated in detail. LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of zircon grains from these granites yielded ages of 82.5±2.3 and 82±1.8 Ma, representing an episode of Late Cretaceous magmatic event. These granites are characterized by high peraluminous and have typical S-type geochemical signatures with high SiO_2(72.37 wt.%–73.07 wt.%), high A/CNK values(1.61–1.65) and Al_2O_3(14.4 wt.%–15 wt.%). They are enriched in Rb, U, K, Th, Ta and Pb and display pronounced negative Ba, Sr, Nb, Ti and Eu(Eu/Eu*=0.19–0.24) anomalies. The high degree of fractional crystallization is characterized by low Rb, Sr, Ba and Eu concentrations with high ratios of La/Sm and Eu/Eu*. Zircon grains show εHf(t) values from-9.69 to-0.9 and the corresponding TDM2 range from 1.2 to 1.7 Ga, indicating that these granites could be derived from the Proterozoic basement rocks with minor input from mantle-derived magmas. The calculation of Fe^(3+) and Fe^(2+) of biotites indicates a low oxygen fugacity condition(log fO_2 ranging from 10-17 to 10-18 bars, below MH), which is favorable for the W-Sn mineralization. Tungsten and tin have been enriched in granitic magmas through fractionation, and low oxygen fugacity conditions have promoted the accumulation and transportation of W-Sn in the hydrothermal fluids, leading to deposition of mineral phases. The geochemical data suggest that Piaoac granites formed in an extensional setting related with the Late Cretaceous magmatism occurring large-scale lithospheric extensional in South China Block.
