The solar-heat driven air-conditioning system has strong potential for significant primary energy *** most applications,the system involves Li-Br-water absorption chillers,which are suitable for large building *** absorption chillers to be used in small residential buildings,the reduction of the chiller system footprint is *** the present study focus has been given to design a vapour-absorption cooling system with improved transport phenomena using film-inversion *** film-inverting absorber has resulted in the enhancement of vapour absorption rate by 83-95 percent more than a conventional falling film-tubular absorber based on numerical simulation *** proposed design has the potential to increase Coefficient of Performance(COP) of a single-effect vapour absorption system 160% higher than that of a conventional vapour-absorption *** could also reduce the foot-print of the entire vapour absorption system especially for low-grade-heat driven *** least 10°C temperature reduction has been achieved in maintaining the same condensing ***,a smaller area is needed to harvest hot water for a solar-heat driven air-conditioning *** there has been at least 65% reduction of the collector area needed per k W cooling energy.

Mutual Competitive absorption of Water and Essential Oils Molecules by Porose Ligno-Cellulosic Materials

Competitive absorption processes, i.e. condensation, of water and essential oils (EO) are predominantly controlled by extent of condensation of diffusing water and EO molecules with marginal influence of porose ligno-cellulosic matter and a sort of EO. With increase of absorption the diffusion is depressed and vice versa. Diffusion of water molecules through porose system is usually slower in comparison with other molecules. It was discovered that a presence of EO decreases paper web humidity with increasing influence in environment with high relative air humidity. Likely, fast diffusing EO molecules decrease the ability of water molecules condensed in all accessible pores particularly in the non-penetrable pores.

Todays automobiles use the technology of vapour compression system to run the air conditioning system that is required to cool the passenger and keep them in an optimal temperature range . But however the rising fuel cost and the load supported on the combustion engines limit prove to be disadvantages .It as well as takes the riding pleasure off the low capacity engine vehicles. Contrary to this system, the attempt to have a vapour absorption system on lithium bromide may prove to be an advantageous alternative. It will not require a power input from the car’s engine as well .Instead the exhaust gas heat may be used to run the system. The high degree of heat contained in the exhaust is ample enough to run a decent capacity absorption system and maintain optimal temperature conditions in the vehicle.
