In this paper,we investigate IRS-aided user cooperation(UC)scheme in millimeter wave(mmWave)wirelesspowered sensor networks(WPSN),where two single-antenna users are wireless powered in the wireless energy transfer(WET)phase first and then cooperatively transmit information to a hybrid access point(AP)in the wireless information transmission(WIT)phase,following which the IRS is deployed to enhance the system performance of theWET *** maximized the weighted sum-rate problem by jointly optimizing the transmit time slots,power allocations,and the phase shifts of the *** to the non-convexity of the original problem,a semidefinite programming relaxation-based approach is proposed to convert the formulated problem to a convex optimization framework,which can obtain the optimal global *** results demonstrate that the weighted sum throughput of the proposed UC scheme outperforms the non-UC scheme whether equipped with IRS or not.

Computation Rate Maximization in Multi-user cooperation-Assisted Wireless-Powered Mobile Edge Computing with OFDMA

In the era of Internet of Things(Io T),mobile edge computing(MEC)and wireless power transfer(WPT)provide a prominent solution for computation-intensive applications to enhance computation capability and achieve sustainable energy supply.A wireless-powered mobile edge computing(WPMEC)system consisting of a hybrid access point(HAP)combined with MEC servers and many users is considered in this *** particular,a novel multiuser cooperation scheme based on orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA)is provided to improve the computation performance,where users can split the computation tasks into various parts for local computing,offloading to corresponding helper,and HAP for remote execution respectively with the aid of ***,we aim at maximizing the weighted sum computation rate(WSCR)by optimizing time assignment,computation-task allocation,and transmission power at the same time while keeping energy neutrality in *** transform the original non-convex optimization problem to a convex optimization problem and then obtain a semi-closed form expression of the optimal solution by considering the convex optimization *** results demonstrate that the proposed multi-user cooperationassisted WPMEC scheme greatly improves the WSCR of all users than the existing *** addition,OFDMA protocol increases the fairness and decreases delay among the users when compared to TDMA protocol.

Chained user cooperation scheme employing joint network-channel coding

This paper proposes a joint network-channel codingbased on turbo codes for user cooperation. The scenario under consideration is one in which two ＂partners＂--UE1 and UE2---cooperate in transmitting information to the base station （BS）. Each partner transmits both locally generated information and the relayed information that originated at the other partner. The local information and relayed information are jointly network-channel coded to form a superimposed codeword, and the adjacent codewords transmitted in turn by the two partners are tightly correlative like a chain. It is shown via simulation that the proposed scheme achieves full diversity gain compared with the other user cooperation schemes, including those based on coded cooperation and distributed space-time coded cooperation.

Resource optimization in wireless powered cooperative mobile edge computing systems

Mobile edge computing(MEC) meets the high-bandwidth and ultra-low-latency requirements of mobile networks and improves communication reliability by reducing the networks’ load. In this study, we study a wireless powered MEC system, which includes an access point(AP) and two mobile devices. The endurance of mobile devices can be effectively enhanced using the wireless power transfer technology and user cooperation. However, during user cooperation, a closer user assists a farther user with forwarding tasks by sharing the same bandwidth, which causes interference. To overcome the interference issue, the closer user can instead assist other users in forwarding tasks by using a different bandwidth. We aim to minimize the power of the AP by joint power and bandwidth optimization while satisfying the delay and users’ computational tasks. Simulation results show that the proposed user collaboration method can overcome user interference,reduce energy consumption, and improve user performance compared with the baseline policies.

联合国海洋法公约第43条规定了国际海峡的使用国和沿岸国的合作义务，但是未就合作的性质、方式、途径、使用国的概念等作出明确的规定。在马六甲海峡沿岸三国以及日本的积极推动下，马六甲海峡使用国合作义务问题最近因获得中国的积极回应取得较大的进展，但具体到合作的方式、途径、范围等问题时，相关国家各自又有不同的打算。9.11事件以后，海上安全问题成为马六甲海峡使用国合作义务问题中的新要素。中国作为海洋地理相对不利的国家应从能源安全的角度出发，重新定位我国在马六甲海峡的航行利益，积极参与新规则的制定，以促成对我有利的马六甲海峡合作机制的形成。
