L-R-Smash products and L-R-twisted tensor products of Algebras

We introduce a common generalization of the L-R-smash product and twisted tensor product of algebras, under the name L-R-twisted tensor product of algebras. We investigate some properties of this new construction, for instance, we prove a result of the type ＂invariance under twisting＂ and we show that under certain circumstances L-R- twisted tensor products of algebras may be iterated.

Artin-Schelter twisted tensor regularity of products

We prove an Artin-Schelter regularity result for the method of twisted tensor products under a certain form. Such twisted tensor products, whose twisting maps are determined by the action on the generators, include Ore extensions and double Ore extensions. It is helpful to construct high- dimensional Artin-Schelter regular algebras.

Braid Group Representations from twisted tensor products of Algebras

We unify and generalize several approaches to constructing braid group representa-tions from finite groups,using iterated twisted tensor products.We provide some general characterizations and classification of these representations,focusing on the size of their images,which are typically finite groups.The well-studied Gaussian representations associated with metaplectic modular categories can be understood in this framework,and we give some new examples to illustrate their ubiquity.Our results suggest a relationship between the braiding on the G-gaugings of a pointed modular category C(A,Q)and that of C(A,Q)itself.
