Lyapunov-based event-triggered control for nonlinear plants subject to disturbances and transmission delays

This paper studies event-triggered control for disturbed nonlinear systems. A new dual-stage Lyapunov-based event-triggering condition is proposed to cope with the time-varying transmission *** the first stage, the ratio of Lyapunov function values at the last two triggering instants is *** based on the ratio, the corresponding threshold function is selected from two candidate forms. It is proved that the designed event-triggered control system is input-to-state practically stable with respect to the measurement errors and disturbances. Moreover, Zeno behavior is excluded successfully by calculating the lower bound of the minimum inter-event times. Finally, a simulation example is provided to show the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This paper investigates sampled-data-based dissipative load frequency control(LFC) for multi-area power systems with transmission delays. Firstly, a decentralized delay-dependent LFC model for each area of a power system via sampleddata control is established. Secondly, under a strict(Q, S, R)-dissipative framework, a stability condition dependent on the transmission delay and sampling period is proposed. Then, a exponential decay rate is introduced to guide LFC design for improving the frequency response dynamic performance. Thirdly, a strict(Q, S, R)-dissipative LFC scheme is first presented,which includes the H∞, passive, mixed H∞ and passive LFC schemes. Finally, single-area and three-area power systems are employed to show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

This paper is concerned with the distributed fusion filter for a class of complex systems subject to transmission delays and fading channels within a Kalman consensus framework. To enhance the communication quality and extend the transmission distance,a amplify-and-forward(AaF) relay is introduced in transmission link from the sensors to the remote estimators. Under the effects of relay nodes,a three-terminal relay model is adopted to describe the system,that is the signal transmission lines between the sensors and estimators consisting of the sensor-to-estimator,the sensor-to-relay and the relay-toestimator channels. Moreover,a new equivalent delay-free measurement sequence is defined by the measurement reorganization technology to tackle measurement delays. Then,a consensus-based distributed estimator is designed in the linear unbiased minimum variance(LUMV) sense based on the new delay-free measurement equation,in which the optimal estimator gains are derived by solving a set of difference Riccati equations based on Lyapunov equations.

This paper discusses the stabilization controller design for a class of discrete-time nonlinear networked control systems under consideration of both the networked-induced delay and data packed *** on the Lypunov-Krasovskii function method and LMI technique,a state feedback controller is *** admissible bound of networked-induced delay and the packet loss is also presented in terms of LMI.A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.
