The curve of landslide thrust plays a key role in landslide *** commonly used transfer coefficient method(TCM)and Morgenstern-Price method(MPM)are *** does not take into account the moment balance between *** MPM considers the moment balance,the calculation is complex,and it does not consider that the force between slices may be less than zero at the back edge of the *** rationality and feasibility of the improved MPM are verified by calculating the landslide stability coefficient and landslide thrust at different reservoir water *** paper studies the law of landslide thrust when the reservoir water level changes,and discusses the determination of design thrust,to provide a certain theoretical basis for the design of reservoir landslides.

Jinle landslide is one of the largest landslide in Xingshan county in Three gorges reservoir area, which geological condition is complex, the topographical relief is large, and the structure of the rock and soil stratum and the geological surrounding is complex. With the muti-electrodeselectrical method and borehole surveying etc methods, the landslide thickness and landslide sliding bedrock were determinated. Based on above result, the landslide geological model was founded;then, the landslide stability under the different conditions was analyzed by the transfer coefficient method. The results showed us that: the front of the lower I landslide is unstable when the reservoir water level decrease from 175m to 145m and from 162m to 145m, which will induce the whole lower I landslide unstable;the whole lower I landslide is limit stable under the 175m water level and the storm occurring once every 20 years in the rainy season or drought season;the sensitivity of the factor impact on the landslide stability, from the highest to weakest is: water level decreasing, storm during the rainy season and 175m water level. This result is useful to the landslide improvement.
