An analytic research on establishing different traffic models on the traffic nature of different time granularity can provide necessary academic foundation for network design and simulation as well as ensuring the quality of service and network management. This paper aims to make simulant predication by means of corresponding math tools on the modeling of real traffic of the different time granularity. The experimental results indicate that the predicated traffic is close to the real traffic distribution.

Cellular automation traffic models can include various factors in traffic systems and the corresponding computational simulations are rather simple and effective. The Biham-Middleton-Levine model (BML model) facilitates the simulation of two-dimensional traffic flow problems via the cellular automaton models. In this paper, the BML model is improved by removing its limitation of synchronized change of traffic lights. In the new model, the traffic light at each crossing could arbitrarily change its starting time and tempo of variation, and hence the model could more realistically describe the influence of traffic lights on the performance of traffic systems. Some new effects appearing in the new model are also elucidated.

Hybrid networking of power line and wireless communication can complement each other,save construction costs,improve network robustness,and has important value on the Internet of Things and smart *** power line and wireless dual-interface devices,a media access control(MAC)layer algorithm for hybrid communication is proposed,in which the stations can compete for two channels *** a station obtains two channels at the same time,the station will randomly select a channel for transmission to ensure fairness,and reset the counters when the transmission is *** this paper,the performance of the unsaturated traffic model and counter spatial division is considered,and the throughput under coupling conditions is ***,the simulation results show that the MAC layer algorithm based on the hybrid communication network can make full use of the advantages of the two channels,improve system throughput,and reduce transmission delay.

An improved one-dimensional CA ( Cellular Automaton) traffic model was proposed to describe the highway traffic under the periodic boundary conditions. This model was based on the idea of the car-following model, which claims that the motion of a vehicle at one time step depends on both its headway and the synchronous motion of the front vehicle, thus including indirectly the influence of its sub-neighboring vehicle. It? addition, the so-called safety distance was introduced to consider the deceleration behavior of vehicles and the stochastic factor was taken into account by introducing the deceleration probability. Meanwhile, the conditional deceleration in the model gives a better description of the phenomena observed on highways. It is found that there exists the metastability and hysteresis effect of traffic flow in the neighborhood of critical density under different initial conditions. Since this model gives a reasonable depiction of the motion of a single vehicle, it is easy to be extended to the case of traffic flow tinder the control of traffic lights in cities.

Since it is difficult to fit measured parameters using the conventional traffic model, a new traffic density and average speed model is introduced in this paper. To determine traffic model structures accurately, a model identification method for uncertain nonlinear system is developed. To simplify uncertain nonlinear problem, this paper presents a new robust criterion to identify the multi-section traffic model structure of freeway efficiently. In the new model identification criterion, numerically efficient U-D factofization is used to avoid computing the determinant values of two complex matrices. By estimating the values of U-D factor of data matrix, both the upper and lower bounds of system uncertainties are described. Thus a model structure identification algorithm is proposed. Comparisons between identification outputs and simulation outputs of traffic states show that the traffic states can be accurately predicted by means of the new traffic models and the structure identification criterion.

As the traffic distribution in China mainland is far from uniform, a new traffic model in China mainland is presented on the basis of per-capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and density of population. Based on this characteristic traffic model, a new traffic Dependent Dynamic Channel Allocation and Reservation (TDDCAR) technique is proposed, the simulation model is built, and the strategies' performance is evaluated through computer simulation. The simulation results show that, compared to the conventional Fixed Channel Allocation (FCA), TDDCAR estimates the traffic conditions in every spot beam and frequently adjusts the traffic according to current traffic conditions. It has achieved a significant improvement in new call blocking probability, handover blocking probability, and fair index, particularly, in heavy traffic conditions. The building of traffic model in China mainland and the analysis of the simulation results has been a key foundation for the study of resource allocation schemes in the future.
