Antibacterial Activity of Plants in Cirsium:A Comprehensive Review

As ethnic medicine,the whole grass of plants in Cirsium was used as *** review focuses on the antimicrobial activity of plants in Cirsium,including antimicrobial components,against different types of microbes and bacteriostatic *** results showed that the main antimicrobial activity components in Cirsium plants were flavonoids,triterpenoids and phenolic acids,and the antimicrobial ability varied according to the species and the content of *** them,phenolic acids showed a strong antibacterial ability against Acinetobacter baumannii,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,and Enterococcus *** antibacterial mechanisms include:(1)damaging the cell membrane,cell walls,mitochondria and nucleus of bacteria;(2)inhibiting the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids;(3)suppressing the synthesis of enzymes for tricarboxylic acid cycle pathways and glycolysis,and then killing the bacteria via inhibition of energy ***,most research results on antimicrobial activity of Cirsium plants are reported based on in vitro *** evidence from clinical data and comprehensive evaluation are needed.

Erratum to “Census Ethnobotanical Study of Some Plants used in traditional Medicine in the City of Meknes” [American Journal of Plant Sciences 5 (2014) 2480-2496]

An ethnobotanical survey was conducted in the city of Meknès over a period of two years, from 2009 to 2011 with 1000 people (615 women, 385 men). Through the questionnaire, schedules were established to collect information on the use of therapeutic medicinal plants by the local population. This research has focused primarily on the general population, herbalists and healers. The present investigation has enumerated 194 species distributed in 165 genera and 72 families. The most represented families are Lamiaceae (18%), the Aseraceae, (17%), the Apiaceae (14%) and the Fabaceae (10%). The results of the survey show that 54% of individuals use both herbal medicine and modern medicine, 26% of individuals use herbs and 20% use modern medicine. We are interested in the use of plants in different ages and sexes. We report that 31% of the population is aged between 51 and 60 years, 29% between 41 and 50 years, 23% between 31 and 40 years, 10% between 21 and 30 years, 3% less than 20 years and 4 % > 60 years. We note the predominance of women over men. Women use up to 61% against 39% of men. The analysis of our results shows that herbal medicine takes a place in the self-medication of the population studied. However, we emphasize an important point: Ignorance of toxic plants, in fact, only 19% of the target population recognizes these plants.

中国特色民间文学艺术作品著作权保护理论的构建

我国在民间文学艺术作品的著作权保护理论上存在误区。绝对保护论照搬一些发展中国家的理论，主张对民间文学艺术作品给予较强的全面保护，与著作权理论存在冲突，不适合中国国情。否定版权保护论照搬一些发达国家的理论，否定用版权法保护民间文学艺术作品的可能性，其理论上的僵化不利于保护我国的传统文化。我国应采“相对保护论”，即在遵循著作权法基本原理的基础上，借鉴国际公约的相关规定，结合中国国情，适当确定民间文学艺术作品的著作权保护规则。应合理界定民间文学艺术作品的内涵和外延，反对将一切与民间文学艺术相关的对象都纳入保护范围；应将社群中创作民间文学艺术作品的自然人成员界定为作者并作为著作权原始主体，民间文学艺术作品来源地的社群根据习惯法成为著作财产权的继受主体；应区分精神权利和财产权利两方面的内容；应合理处理著作权保护与公有领域保护之间的关系，确定适当的著作权保护期限；应结合民间传统习惯及现有制度合理确定民间文学艺术作品的著作权限制规则；应根据国民待遇原则处理好其他国家的民间文学艺术作品的著作权保护问题。
