In the framework of the littlest Higgs model with T-parity （LHT）, we study the top quark spin correlation and polarization at the International Linear Collider （ILC）. We find that the top quark polarization asymmetry δPt and the left-right asymmetry δALR can respectively reach -35% and -37.5% for s = 500 GeV and s = 1000 GeV via e＋e- collision, which can reach the observable level at the ILC. By contrast, the spin correlation δC is smaller. The correlation behaviors of these observables at the e＋e- collision and the yy, collision will be helpful to distinguish different models and test the LHT model at the ILC.

In the framework of topcolor-assisted technicolor model we calculate the contributions from the pseudo Goldstone bosons and new gauge bosons to . We find that for reasonable ranges of the parameters, the pseudo Goldstone bosons afford dominate contribution, the correction arising from new gauge bosons is negligibly small, the maximum of the relative corrections is with the center-of-mass energy ; whereas in the case of , the relative corrections could be up to 16%. Thus large new physics might be observable at the experiments of next-generation linear colliders.

We study the top-quark pair production via polarized and unpolarized photon collisions at the International Linear Collider in the context of the littlest Higgs model with *** calculate the production cross section of the process γγ→ tt and find the effects can be more significant in the (——) polarized photon collision mode than in other collision modes,and the relative correction can be expected to reach about 1% in the favorable parameter space.

Heavy charged gauge bosons are proposed in some theories beyond the standard model. We explore the discovery potential for W＇→tb with top quark semi-leptonic decay at the LHC. We concentrate on the new physics signal search with the deviation from the standard model prediction if the resonance peak of W＇ cannot be observed directly. Signal events with two jets plus one charged lepton and missing energy are simulated, together with the dominant standard model backgrounds. In this paper, it is found that suitable cuts on the kinematic observables can effectively suppress the standard model backgrounds mass is less than 6.6 TeV. so that it is possible to search for a W＇ signal at the LHC if its

The topcolor-assisted technicolor model （TC2） predicts a non-universal Z′ gauge boson, which couples to the third generation fermions with enhanced strength. We study the effects of this non-universal gauge boson on the cross section and spin correlation of top quark pair production through the process gg → tt at the LHC. We find that the total cross section and the spin correlation can be reduced by-4.7% and -1.4% respectively in the allowed parameter space.

The unparticle effects on tt^- production at the future photon collider are investigated. Distributions of tt^- invariant mass and that for transverse momentum of top quark with respect to Standard Model and unparticle production are predicted. An odd valley with scalar unparticle contribution appears for some values of du, which is due to the big cancellation between the contribution from SM and that from unparticle. This character may be used to study the properties of scalar unparticle. Our investigations also show that scalar unparticle may play a significant role in tt^- production at the photon collider if it exists.

In the standard model effective field theory,operators involving the top quark are generally difficult to probe and can generate sizable loop contributions to electroweak precision observables measured by past and future lepton *** the high precision of electroweak measurements compensate for loop suppression and provide competitive reaches on these operators?Would the inclusion of these contributions introduce too many additional parameters for a meaningful global electroweak analysis to be performed?In this paper,we perform a detailed phenomenological study to address these two important *** on eight dimension-6 operators that generate anomalous couplings between electroweak gauge bosons and third-generation quarks,we calculate their one loop contributions to e^(+)e^(-)→ff processes,both on and off the Z-pole,and the e^(+)e^(-)→WW process.A global analysis is performed with these eight operators and those that contribute to the above processes at tree level using measurements at the LEP,SLC,and several low energy *** find that although current electroweak precision measurements are sensitive to the one-loop effects of top-quark operators,it is difficult to separate them from the operators that contribute at tree level,making a global analysis rather *** further assumptions(for instance,new physics contributes to only third generation quark operators and the S and T parameters),competitive reaches may be obtained in a global *** important finding of our study is that the two operators that generate the dipole interactions of the bottom quark have a significant impact on the Z-pole measurements and should not be *** also discuss the implications of the recently reported W-boson mass measurement at the CDF for our ***,we estimate the reaches of future lepton colliders in probing top-quark operators with precision electroweak measurements.
