This paper studies the continuous-time constrained consensus of heterogeneous multi-agent networks with nonconvex input and velocity constraints,where each agent’s dynamic is modeled by a first-order or second-order integrator,the communication delays are assumed to be time-varying,nonuniform,bounded and the communication graph is changing over time.An improved distributed control algorithm with time-varying gains is proposed and the heterogeneous consensus is changed into the homogeneous consensus by a coordination transformation.Then,it is proved that the constrained consensus can be reached by analyzing six connection cases between agents if the joint graph has a directed spanning tree over each bounded interval.Finally,simulations are done to show the correctness of the theorem.

Consensus problems of high-order continuous-time multi-agent systems with time-delays and switching topologies are studied. The motivation of this work is to extend second-order continuous-time multi-agent systems from the liter- ature. It is shown that consensus can be reached with arbitrarily bounded time-delays even though the communication topology might not have spanning trees. A numerical example is included to show the theoretical results.

Robust stabilization for a class of singular systems was studied by a new method based on time discretization, and a sufficient condition of the robust stabilization was obtained. Firstly, an approximate system of the closed-loop system of the singular system with time-delays was obtained. The approximate system is a singular system in standard state space. Then, the robust stabilization of the singular system was investigated with time-delays by researching the stability of the approximate system using all the exiting analysis method. Finally, a numerical example was presented to verify the effectiveness of the new method.

An adaptive unknown input observer(AUIO)for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell system with time-delays is developed and applied to formulate a fault diagnosis algorithm for multiple actuator fault detection and isolation(MAFDI).In a scheme based on multiple-model,a group of observers are developed based on a model that describes the system in the presence of a specific actuator fault.The observers are used to generate fault-dependant residual signals.When a model matches the system,the residual signal is zero and becomes non-zero in case of a faulty scenario.Two types of actuator faults are considered namely stuck fault,where the inputs delivered by the faulty actuators are blocked to constant value,and loss of effectiveness fault.The effectiveness of the proposed AUIO and MAFDI algorithm is shown with simulation results.

This paper investigates the leader-following consensus problem of multi-agent systems where the leader is static and the controlling effect of each follower depends on its own state. The control protocols are proposed for two cases： i） for network with switching topologies and undirected information flow; ii） for network with directed information flow and communication time-delays. With the aid of several tools from algebraic graph, matrix theory and stability the- ory, the sufficient conditions guaranteeing leader-following consensus are obtained by constructing appropriate Lyapunov functions. Simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.

In this paper, consensus problems in discrete-time multiagent systems with time-invariant delays are considered. In order to characterize the structures of communication topologies, the concept of ＂pre-leader-follower＂ decomposition is introduced. Then, a necessary and sufficient condition for state consensus is established. By this method, consensus problems in networks with a single time-delay, as well as with multiple time-delays, are studied, and some necessary and sufficient conditions for solvability of consensus problems are obtained.

This paper investigates the controllability of general linear discrete-time multi-agent systems with directed and weighted signed networks by using graphic and algebraic methods.The nondelay and delay cases are considered respectively.For the case of no time delay,the upper bound condition of the controllable subspace is given by using the equitable partition method,and the influence of coefficient matrix selection of individual dynamics is illustrated.For the case of single delay and multiple delays,the equitable partition method is extended to deal with time-delay systems,and some conclusions are obtained.In particular,some simplified algebraic criteria for controllability of systems with time delay are obtained by using augmented system method and traditional algebraic controllability criteria.

This paper investigates the stochastic bounded consensus of leader-following second-order multi-agent systems in a noisy environment. It is assumed that each agent received the information of its neighbors corrupted by noises and time delays. Based on the graph theory, stochastic tools, and the Lyapunov function method, we derive the sufficient conditions under which the systems would reach stochastic bounded consensus in mean square with the protocol we designed. Finally, a numerical simulation is illustrated to check the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

The exponential stability in mean square and stabiliza- tion problems for It＆ stochastic switched systems with multiple time-delays are investigated. The system possesses the norm- bounded uncertainties and Markovian jumping parameters. By using an effective descriptor model transformation of the system and applying Ito＇s differential formula and Moon＇s inequality for bounding cross terms, a new delay-dependent sufficient condi- tion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities, and its states feedback controller is designed. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the efficiency and less conservation of the results.
