＜正＞In a laboratory experiment the detection of a 0,7° sized object was tested with 40 test persons. Colored stimuli were presented at positions of 2°,6°,10°,and 14° eccentricity to determine the threshold contrast at different positions in the visual *** measured contrasts were used to compare several approaches to calculate the mesopic equivalent luminance for peripheral *** results show that models of mesopic photometry improve the description of contrast sensitivity for peripheral *** near foveal object the photopic contrast gives a better representation of detection than the calculated mesopic contrasts.
