system-level Modeling and simulation of Force-Balance MEMS Accelerometers

This paper presents two approaches for system-level simulation of force-balance accelerometers. The derivation of the system-level model is elaborated and simulation results are obtained from the implementation of those strategies on the fabricated silicon force-balance MEMS accelerometer. The mathematical model presented is implemented in VHDL- AMS and SIMULINK TM,respectively. The simulation results from the two approaches are compared and show a slight difference. Using VHDL-AMS is flexible,reusable,and more accurate. But there is not a mature solver developed for the language and this approach takes more time, while the simulation model can be easily built and quickly evaluated using SIMULINK.

Performance Analysis of Sparse Array based Massive MIMO via Joint Convex Optimization

Massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)technology enables higher data rate transmission in the future mobile ***,exploiting a large number of antenna elements at base station(BS)makes effective implementation of massive MIMO challenging,due to the size and weight limits of the masssive MIMO that are located on each ***,in order to miniaturize the massive MIMO,it is crucial to reduce the number of antenna elements via effective methods such as sparse array *** this paper,a multiple-pattern synthesis is considered towards convex optimization(CO).The joint convex optimization(JCO)based synthesis is proposed to construct a codebook for ***,a criterion containing multiple constraints is developed,in which the sparse array is required to fullfill all ***,extensive evaluations are performed under realistic simulation *** results show that with the same number of antenna elements,sparse array using the proposed JCO-based synthesis outperforms not only the uniform array,but also the sparse array with the existing CO-based synthesis ***,with a half of the number of antenna elements that on the uniform array,the performance of the JCO-based sparse array approaches to that of the uniform array.

＜正＞In the future mobile communication system,the fast packet scheduling carried out at Node-B is significant to improve system throughput while guarantee fairness among *** this paper,we investigate the scheduling algorithm integrated multicarrier allocation to maximize the system throughput in the wireless communication system and then present a novel proportional fairness scheduling algorithm with BLER prediction （BLER-PF）.The proposed BLER-PF is evolved from the traditional Proportional Fairness and combined with hybrid automatic repeat request （HARQ）,Adaptive Modulation and coding （AMC） based on limited channel quality information （CQI） *** system-level simulations are preformed in order to analyze system throughput,fairness and multiuser diversity gain of the proposed and other exiting scheduling algorithms in the downlink of MIMO-OFDM system.
