We derive the non-dimensional coupling equation of two exciters, including inertia coupling, stiffness coupling and load coupling. The concept of general dynamic symmetry is proposed to physically explain the synehronisation of the two exciters, which stems from the load coupling that produces the torque of general dynamic symmetry to force the phase difference between the two exciters close to the angle of general dynamic symmetry. The condition of implementing synchronisation is that the torque of general dynamic symmetry is greater than the asymmetric torque of the two motors. A general Lyapunov function is constructed to derive the stability condition of synchronisation that the non-dimensional inertia coupling matrix is positive definite and all its elements are positive. Numeric results show that the structure of the vibrating system can guarantee the stability of synchronisation of the two exciters, and that the greater the distances between the installation positions of the two exciters and the mass centre of the vibrating system are, the stronger the ability of general dynamic symmetry is.

This paper considers the global stability of controlling an uncertain complex network to a homogeneous trajectory of the uncoupled system by a local pinning control strategy. Several sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the network synchronisation by investigating the relationship among pinning synchronisation, network topology, and coupling strength. Also, some fundamental and yet challenging problems in the pinning control of complex networks are discussed：（1） what nodes should be selected as pinned candidates？（2） How many nodes are needed to be pinned for a fixed coupling strength？ Furthermore, an adaptive pinning control scheme is developed. In order to achieve synchronisation of an uncertain complex network, the adaptive tuning strategy of either the coupling strength or the control gain is utilised. As an illustrative example, a network with the Lorenz system as node self-dynamics is simulated to verify the efficacy of theoretical results.

In this paper,a fractional-order adaptive sliding mode controller is designed to synchronise a fractional-order chaotic gyroscope with fractional *** this end,the error dynamic is defined first and then the adaptive slidingmodesynchroniser is designed using through defining a proper sliding surface and estimating uncertainty parameters of the master and slave system and its stability is proved using the Lyapunov *** important point is the efficiency of the controller against input disturbance and ***,the proposed controller is simulated in MATLAB and the results indicate that the introduced fractional-order chaotic system using an adaptive sliding mode controller is able to synchronise the fractional-order chaotic gyroscope.

Our aim is to study the Hopf bifurcation and synchronisation of a fractional-order butterfly-fishchaotic system. First, we derived the existence of a chaotic attractor in the fractional-order systemand also synchronisation problem between two identical fractional-order chaotic systems isstudied. Also, control design for the synchronisation with a suitable linear controller is tested inthe response system. Finally, numerical simulation results are provided to confirm the theoreticalanalysis.

This paper investigates the chaos synchronisation between two coupled chaotic Chua＇s circuits. The sufficient condition presented by linear matrix inequalities （LMIs） of global asymptotic synchronisation is attained based on piecewise quadratic Lyapunov functions. First, we obtain the piecewise linear differential inclusions （pwLDIs） model of synchronisation error dynamics, then we design a switching （piecewise-linear） feedback control law to stabilise it based on the piecewise quadratic Laypunov functions. Then we give some numerical simulations to demonstrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.

We focus on the problems of the accurate time delay estimation, the design of training pilots,and hybrid matrix optimization within the large-scale antenna array Terahertz(THz) broadband communication system. In contrast to the existing researches based on narrow-band arrays, we hereby shed light on the time delay estimation of broadband arrays. In THz broadband communication systems, the data symbol duration is relatively short when comparing with the dimension of the antenna array. In large-scale antenna systems,signals received in each antenna are no longer different phase-shifted copies of the same symbol, but completely different symbols in which occasion traditional narrowband structure is no longer suitable. Based on the above conclusion, firstly, we put forward a system model based on large-scale antenna arrays and Time delay line(TDL)structure. Secondly, we deduce the Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRLB) of the time delay estimation, and present a time delay estimation algorithm that could reach the CRLB. Thirdly, by minimizing the CRLB, we address the design of the training pilot and optimized TDL structure under the condition of constant envelope training pilot and modulus TDL structure. Finally, we disclose the numerical simulation results. According to the simulation results, the aforementioned method is workable in reaching the CRLB,the TDL structure can significantly surpass that of the traditional model, and the optimal pilot design method outperforms the pseudo-random pilot structure.

Adopt software-definition technology to decouple the functional components of the industrial control system(ICS) in a service-oriented and distributed form is an important way for the industrial Internet of things to integrate information technology, communication technology, and operation technology. Therefore, this paper presents the concept of software-defined control architecture and describes the time consistency requirements under the paradigm shift of ICS architecture. By analyzing the physical clock and virtual clock mechanism models, the global clock synchronization space is logically divided into the physical and virtual clock synchronization domains, and a formal description of the global clock synchronization space is proposed. According to the fundamental analysis of the clock state model, the physical clock linear filtering synchronization model is derived, and a distributed observation fusion filtering model is constructed by considering the two observation modes of the virtual clock to realize the time synchronization of the global clock space by way of timestamp layer-by-layer transfer and fusion estimation. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed model can significantly improve the accuracy and stability of clock synchronization.

This paper revisits the synchronisation problem for second-order multi-agent systems(MASs)under dynamically changing communication *** employing the reference model-based synchronisation algorithm,it is finally shown that synchronisation for both the position and velocity states can be achieved if the union of the communication topologies has a directed spanning tree frequently *** extends the existing results obtained for second-order MASs which exploits mild communication topology condition guaranteeing the synchronisation to a more general *** analysis is successfully performed by exploiting the product properties of row-stochastic matrices,which can also provide us with an estimate the convergence rate towards the synchronisation.
