Stability and stabilization of a class of switched stochastic systems with saturation control

A switching system always comprises of several subsystems and a rule supervising the switching between the subsystems. A major problem that is often inherent to all dynamical systems is actuator saturation. Saturation is a nonlinear property that nonlinearly maps small input signals to the output,which may affect the system properties and even destroy them. In this study, stability and stabilization of a class of switched stochastic systems with saturation control was investigated. First, the variation parameter method was used to present the integral form of switched stochastic systems. Second, to guarantee that the zero solution is globally exponentially stable in mean square, two sufficient conditions were obtained using direct computation with Gronwall inequality and indirect method with matrix theory, respectively. Further,another simple sufficient condition was obtained for the stability of the systems using the row norm, column norm, and Frobenius norm. Finally, two examples were used to illustrate the preciseness and effectiveness of the results. Moreover, various control designs were observed to stabilize the systems, which differ from the technique of linear matrix inequalities.

In this paper, the finite-time stabilization problems for switched stochastic systems are addressed. Firstly, when there exists asynchronous switching between the controller and the system, a sufficient condition for the existence of stabilizing switching law for switched stochastic systems is derived. It is proved that the switched stochastic systems are finite-time stabilizable under asynchronous switching satisfying the average dwell-time condition. Furthermore, the problem of reliable control for switched stochastic systems under asynchronous switching is also investigated. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Event-Triggered Finite-Time <i>H</i><sub>∞</sub>Control for switched stochastic systems

This paper investigates the problem of event-triggered finite-time H∞ control for a class of switched stochastic systems. The main objective of this study is to design an event-triggered state feedback H∞ controller such that the resulting closed-loop system is finite-time bounded and satisfies a prescribed H∞ level in some given finite-time interval. Based on stochastic differential equations theory and average dwell time approach, sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the finite-time stochastic stability with the prescribed H∞ performance for the relevant closed-loop system by employing the linear matrix inequality technique. Finally, the desired state feedback H∞ controller gain matrices can be expressed in an explicit form.

This paper is concerned with the observer-based sliding mode control（SMC） for switched stochastic systems with unmeasurable states under asynchronous switching. The state observers are designed to estimate the system states, and its switching legs behind that of the system. Based on the state estimate, the SMC problem is considered. First an integral type sliding surface is constructed and sufficient conditions for mean-square exponential stability of the closed-loop system are derived, even the observer switchings are asynchronous with those of subsystems. Variable structure controllers are designed to drive the state of switched systems to reach the sliding surface in finite time.

This paper concerns the asynchronously switched control problem for a class of switched stochastic systems with time delays under an average dwell time （ADT） scheme. By further allowing the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional to increase during the running time of the active subsystem with the mismatched controller, the mean-square exponential stability condition for the resulting closed-loop system is firstly derived. Then, the corresponding solvability condition for desired controllers is established. Finally, two numerical examples are exploited to show the validity and potential of the developed result.

This paper is concerned with the problem of adaptive fuzzy backstepping-based output-feedback control for a class of switched uncertain stochastic nonlinear systems in strict-feedback form without the measurements of the system *** combining fuzzy logic systems’ universal approximation ability and adaptive backstepping recursive design,a novel adaptive fuzzy control approach is proposed for the switched *** is proved that all signals of the overall closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded in mean square,and the output of the switched system converges to a small neighborhood of the origin with appropriate choice of design parameters.
