Due to extreme poison,strong corrosion,and complex precipitation and deposition of H_(2)S in the reservoir,it is very difficult and risky to investigate and explore drilling,completion,production and gas *** the course of production of fractured gas reservoir with high H_(2)S content,formation pressure falls continually,which lead to decline of solubility of sulfur particles in gas *** particles which dissolve in gas phase originally in the formation should precipitate from gas phase after running up to saturation state and deposit at pore space and throat,sequentially resulting in formation porosity and permeability *** present,the researches of sulfur deposition are mainly focused on the conventional gas reservoirs and sulfur deposition in the near wellbore region is generally estimated using Roberts'***,most of the gas reservoirs with high-content H2S are fractured gas reservoirs,classical damage model is no longer applicable to fractured gas reservoirs with high H2S *** the present study,a sulfur deposition damage model is *** refined model,based on non-Darcy flow,takes into consideration the effects of sulfur deposition,variation in gas properties and *** addition,the effect of gas well production rate on formation permeability is also *** results show that formation permeability decreases with fracture aperture and gas well production rate *** bigger gas well production rate is,the quicker sulfur *** sulfur deposition of fractured gas reservoir with high-content H_(2)S is mainly in the near wellbore zone,and the fracture aperture has a significant impact on the formation permeability in the near wellbore zone.

Dissolved organic sulfur in streams draining forested catchments in southern China

Throughfall(TF) and wet only(WO) deposition *** SO and sulfate(SO) concentration in air at 4 urban and rural sites in southwestern China were monitored in order to understand the role of different forms of sulfur(S) emission to the S deposition and its effect in *** sites were located in Chongqing,Hunan,and Guizhou provinces.S deposition at the most polluted site reached 15 g S m *** three of the sites,located in the vicinity of several emission sources,dry S deposition is 2.1-4.2 times that of wet deposition,which is significantly higher than what is found in most other parts of the world. Main components in airborne particles(PM) are(NH)SO and CaSO at the highly polluted Tie Shan Ping(TSP) *** particles of gypsum(CaSO) in the air are partly due to direct emission and partly from the reaction of calcium oxides and carbonates with sulfuric acid in the *** illustrate the importance of sulfate emission to total S deposition we analyzed the source of S deposition based on both measurements and *** indicated that direct emission of SO particles could,account for high proportion in total S deposition at the three most polluted sites.

Dissolved organic sulfur （DOS） is an important fraction for sulfur mobilization in ecosystem. In this work stream waters were sampled in 25 forested sites in southern China to study the dissolved sulfur fractions. Dissolved sulfur was fractionated into dissolved organic sulfur （DOS） and inorganic sulfate （SO]-） for 95 stream water samples. The results showed that the concentration of DOS ranged from 0 to 13.1 mg/L （average 1,3 mg/L） in all the streams, High concentrations of DOS in stream waters were found in the sites with high concentrations of sulfate. DOS constituted less than 60.1% of dissolved sulfur （average 17.9%）. Statistical analysis showed that DOS concentration was correlated with SO42- in streams waters and total sulfur in surface layer soils. The results also showed that DOS concentration in stream waters had a seasonal variation, but no trends were found with it. The implication was that the long term sulfur deposition had led the increase of the concentration and fraction of DOS in stream waters in acid rain prevailing regions

Relationship between Mire Vegetation and Volcanic Activity： A Case Study in Tadewara Mire, a Volcanic Mire in the South-Western Japan

Relationship between volcanic activity and vegetation change with special reference to chemical environmental change in soil by volcanic activity has been investigated in Tadewara mire in the Aso-Kujyu volcano area, south western Japan. A core of 420.0 cm depth was collected for peat forming plants analysis and chemical analysis. A distinct peak of sulfur content in peat core was found at the depth of 105.0-115.0 cm. Chronological changes of dominant species within the peat forming plants community showed both progressive and retrogressive successions. Vegetation change of Tadewara mire within recent 1000 years showed retrogressive succession from Sphagnum community to Moliniopsis and Phragmites communities after the sulfur compound deposition, whereas vegetation showed progressive succession after the deposition of sulfur became smaller. Enrichment of sulfur in sediment core appeared over the water impermeable layer with clay texture on volcanic ash horizon, and then vegetation change could be induced by the paludification caused by the clay layer. deposition of volcanic ash layer and the following formation of water impermeable layer were dated at 970 ＋ 40 yBP by 14C dating data, and it corresponded to the eruption of Mount Kurotake recorded at 980 ＋ 30 yBP. Retrogressive succession can be the result of hydrological change rather than direct chemical changes in soil.
