We investigate the possibility of cosmic censorship violation in the gravitational collapse of radiating dyon solution. It is shown that the final outcome of the collapse depends sensitively on the electric and magnetic charge parameters. The graphs of the outer apparent horizon, inner Cauchy horizon for different values of parameters are drawn. It is found that the electric and magnetic components push the apparent horizon towards the retarded time-coordinate axis, which in turn reduces the radius of the apparent horizon in Valdya spacetime. Also, we extend the earlier work of Chamorro and Virbhadra [Pramana, J. Phys. 45 （1995） 181].

Cryptocrystalline basalt is one of the two major types of rocks exposed in the super large-scale underground powerhouse in Baihetan hydropower station in *** rock of this type shows various sitespecific mechanical responses(***,fracturing,and relaxation)during *** conventional triaxial testing facility MTS 815.03,we obtained the stressestrain curves,macroscopic failure characteristics,and strength characteristics of cryptocrystalline *** this basis,evolution of crack initiation and propagation was explored using the finite-discrete element method(FDEM)to understand the failure mechanism of cryptocrystalline *** test results showed that:(1)under different confining stresses,almost all the pre-peak stressestrain curves of cryptocrystalline basalt were linear and the post-peak stresses decreased rapidly;(2)the cryptocrystalline basalt showed a failure mode in a form of fragmentation under low and medium confining stresses while fragmentation-shear coupling failure dominated at high confining stresses;and(3)the initial strength ratio(sci/sf,where sci and sf are the crack initiation strength and peak strength,respectively)ranged from 0.45 to 0.55 and the damage strength ratio(scd/sf,where scd is the crack damage strength)exceeded *** stressestrain curve characteristics and failure modes of cryptocrystalline basalt could be reflected *** this,FDEM simulation was employed to reveal the characteristics of cryptocrystalline basalt,including high scd/sf values and rapid failure after scd,with respect to the microscopic characteristics of mineral *** results showed that the fragmentation characteristics of cryptocrystalline basalt were closely related to the development of tensile cracks in rock samples prior to ***,the decrease in degree of fragmentation with increasing confining stress was also correlated with the dominant effect of confining stress on the tensile cracks.

The influences of different nano-SiO2（NS） contents on the mechanical properties and rheological behavior of sulfoaluminate cement（SAC） based composite materials were *** show that with increasing content of NS,the apparent viscosity,and shearing strength of fresh paste gradually increase but the fluidity *** a dosage of 3.0%NS,the tensile and flexural strengths of mortars at 56 days were increased by 87.0%and 84.6%,respectively,compared with that in the absence of NS,indicating that the toughness of hardened mortars is significantly ***,the exothermic peaks of hydration are obviously increased and will earlier occur,and the second and the third peaks appear 2.61 hours and 2.56 hours earlier,respectively than that in the absence of NS,and the hydration of SAC before 8 hours is *** forming mechanism of strengths was revealed by scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,hydration heat,X-ray diffraction（XRD） and derivative thermogravimetry（DTG）.The micro-aggregate filling effect and nucleation effect at early age and weak pozzolanic effect at late age of NS make the microstructure more compact,which obviously enhances the strength of SAC mortars.

Researchers worldwide have employed a varied array of sources to cal-culate the successful management of Construction and Demolition(C&DW).Limited research has been undertaken in the domain of Construction and Demoli-tion Waste Management(C&DWM)and consequently leaving a large gap in the availability of effective management *** to the limited time available for building removal and materials collection,preparing for building materials reuse at the end of life is frequently a challenging *** this research work Con-volutional Neural Network-Long Short-Term Memory(CNN-LSTM)is proposed to predict the number of waste materials that are obtained from a building at the end of its useful *** a result,an effective Waste Management(WM)plan has been established through SWOT *** results of the study reveal that,given fundamental building characteristics,it is possible to predict the number of materials that would be collected with high precision from a building after *** proposed deep learning models achieved an average R-squared value of 0.98 and a Mean Absolute Error of 18.1 and 20.14 better than existing methods such as random forest,CNN,and DBN(Data Bus Network).

The strengths weaknesses opportunities and threats SWOT analysis method is applied to assess the feasibility of traditional stormwater management and low impact development LID in *** results show that traditional stormwater management has many disadvantages *** stormwater collection and discharge or flooding peak-flow regulation is taken into consideration but lack of many important functions such as on-site infiltration non-point pollution control ecological treatment *** as a new stormwater management concept the LID system has many advantages *** can not only control rainwater quantity but also effectively prevent non-point pollution. Moreover LID is easy for implementation and cost effective and operation and management can also be done *** has attracted more and more attention from governmental authorities at different levels and the majority of practitioners. Therefore LID has bright prospects for wide applications in China.

Energy levels, transition probabilities, oscillator strengths, and collision strengths have been calculated for transitions in Ne-like Ge. The data refer to a 241 fine-structure levels belonging to the configurations 1s2 2s2 2p5nl, 1s2 2s1 2p6nl (n = 3, 4, 5, 6;l = s, p, d, f, g and h), which have been calculated by the fully relativistic flexible atomic code (FAC). These data are used in the determination of the reduced population for the 241 fine structure levels and gain coefficients over a wide range of electron densities (from 2 × 10+20 to 4 × 10+22 cm-3) and at various electron plasma temperatures (650, 850, 1050, 1250, 1450, 1650, 1850) eV by using the MATLAB R2013a Computer program for solving simultaneous coupled rate equations. The reduced population for the 241 fine structure levels the gain coefficients for those transitions with positive population inversion factor are determined and plotted against the electron density.

Prepared metakaolin produced by calcination of a kaolin sample at 750°C after soaking for 5 hrs was tested as an active pozzolan for locally produced cement. Blended pastes of partially replaced ordinary Portland cement with different metakaolin amounts 5%, 10% and 15% were prepared, then they were hydrated with water for various time intervals of 1, 3, 7, 14 and 28 days. At each time interval, the hydrated paste specimens were tested for compressive strength, hydration kinetics and followed up using differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffractometry analyses and scanning electron microscopy techniques. Results showed that the blended pastes OPC-MK10 recorded the highest compressive strength values at all the hydration times reaching 33.10, 86.40, 101.20, 112, and 122 MPa with increasing the age of hydration as compared with the neat samples which recorded 31.70, 65.20, 72.6, 82 and 101.30 MPa respectively. Meanwhile, the OPC-MK10 blend showed a decrease in the free CaO content reaching 4.07%, 4.27%, 4.23%, 4.19%, and 4.11% CaO with increasing age of hydration compared with the neat samples which recorded 4.27%, 5.15%, 5.42%, 5.61%, and 5.96% CaO respectively. The DSC thermograms results for the hardened neat and OPC-Mk10 pastes at the 14 and 28 hydration days showed the formation of hydrated materials mainly calcium silicate hydrates, calcium sulphoaluminate hydrates and calcium aluminates hydrates. The X-ray diffractometry analyses of both hardened neat and OPC- MK10 showed that, the intensity of calcium hydroxide peaks of OPC-MK10 was lower than in case of neat OPC, while the peak of the hydration products of calcium silicate hydrates and calcium aluminates silicate hydrates of OPC- MK10 samples were of higher intensity than in case of neat OPC. Scanning electron microscopy micrographs indicated the formation of denser micro- structure for the hardened OPC-MK10 paste as compared to neat OPC pastes after the 28 days age of hydration.
