A Visco-hyperelastic Constitutive Model for Rubber Considering the strain level and One Case Study in the Sealing Packer

The rubber cylinder is a key component for maintaining the sealing pressure of the packer,particularly in deep underground *** stress relaxation of materials,as a typical feature of viscoelasticity,has become one of the main factors causing the failure of rubber cylinders in *** the present study,a visco-hyperelastic model for the sealing rubber considering different strain levels is proposed based on the Prony ***,the uniaxial compression stress relaxation experiments are conducted on the sealing rubber under different temperatures and strain levels,and the model parameters are thereby *** a case study,the proposed model is incorporated into the ABAQUS software via the UM AT subroutine,and the finite element simulation of the sealing packer is carried *** results show that the sealing performance of the packer improves with a decrease in temperature or an increase in strain *** is also noted that a large strain level can lead to the protrusion of the shoulder of the rubber cylinder.

Background:There is growing evidence indicating that the microbial communities that dwell on the human ocular surface are crucially important for ocular surface health and *** is known about interspecies interactions,functional profiles,and strain heterogeneity across individuals in healthy ocular surface ***:To comprehensively characterize the strain heterogeneity,cooccurrence network,taxonomic composition and functional profile of the healthy ocular surface microbiome,we performed shotgun metagenomics sequencing on ocular surface mucosal membrane swabs of 17 healthy ***:The healthy ocular surface microbiome was classified into 12 phyla,70 genera,and 140 *** number of species in each healthy ocular surface microbiome ranged from 6 to 47,indicating differences in microbial diversity among *** species with high relative abundances and high positivity rates were Streptococcus pyogenes,Staphylococcus epidermidis,Propionibacterium acnes,Corynebacterium accolens,and Enhydrobacter aerosaccus.A correlation network analysis revealed a competitive interaction of Staphylococcus epidermidis with Streptococcus pyogenes in ocular surface microbial *** epidermidis and Streptococcus pyogenes revealed phylogenetic diversity among different *** the functional level,the pathways related to transcription were the most *** also found that there were abundant lipid and amino acid metabolism pathways in the healthy ocular surface ***:This study explored the strain heterogeneity,cooccurrence network,taxonomic composition,and functional profile of the healthy ocular surface *** findings have important significance for the future development of probiotic-based eye therapeutic drugs.

Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the third leading cancer *** has been widely used to analyze the association between the gut microbiota and CRC based on bacterial genus-or species-level comparisons,providing evidence of dysbiosis in CRC ***,this kind of analysis is unable to provide strain-level information for understanding the individual role of a species in ***,we used culturomics to isolate CRC mucosal samples and selected 158 Escherichia coli strains to reveal their differences in both genomics and functions by means of phylogenetic analysis and inflammatory induction based on cell and animal *** genomic comparison,these strains were divided into five *** representative strains of each phylogroup significantly induced different levels of cytokine secretion by human leukemic monocyte(THP-1 cell)-based Transwell and animal *** bioinformatic analysis revealed different profiles of single-nucleotide polymorphisms,genes,and metabolic pathways in the different phylogroups,which can improve the current understanding of the phenotypic differences between these *** strain differences revealed in both genomics and functions indicate that the microbiota’s function at the strain level should be investigated in order to understand the interacting mechanisms between hosts and gut bacteria.

Investigation on Fatigue Model of Asphalt Concrete Containing Conductive Fillers

The snow and ice on asphalt pavement are very dangerous to people,automobiles and airplanes,so melting snow and ice becomes a high profile. Investigation on the asphalt concrete containing conductive fillers has a great contribution to the researches of melting snow and ice. However,it is few to research on the fatigue behavior which is important in the profile. By four-point bending fatigue tests,the specific fatigue models of conductive asphalt concrete were developed. The parameters of three fatigue models were regressed,the three models predicted the fatigue behavior by the strain levels,the strain levels and initial mix stiffness and dissipated energy respectively. In the model of the strain levels,the fatigue life is decreased at the same strain level as the conductive filler is added. The model based on the strain levels and initial mix stiffness reveals that the fatigue life is partly affected by the initial mix stiffness which is influenced by the conductive filler. The model used the dissipated energy approach is adopted to predict the fatigue behavior with the introduction of the impact the conductive filler on the dissipated energy.

Experiment Study and Interpretation on Relation between Modulus of Rock and strain Amplitude

Nonlinear elastidty of the earth medium produces a numerical difference between the dynamic and the static modulus of rock. The dynamic modulus is calculated with the ultrasonic velocity measurement, the small-cycle modulus is calculated with small cycles in the load-unload experiment, the static modulus is calculated from the slope of the stress-strain curve in the large cycle, the Young＇ s modulus is obtained from the ratio of stress to strain in the measured point. The relationship between the modulus and the strain amplitudes is studied by changing the strain amplitude in the small cycles. The moduli obtained from different measuring methods are thus compared. The result shows that the dynamic modulus is the largest, the small-cycle modulus takes the second place, the static modulus of bigger-cycle is the third, and finally the Young＇s modulus is the smallest. Nonlinear modulus of rock is a function of the strain level and strain amplitude. The modulus decreases exponentially with the ascending of the strain amplitude, while increases with the ascending of the strain level. Finally, the basic concept of the P-M model is briefly introduced and the relationship between the modulus and strain amplitude is explained by the rock having different distribution densities and the different openand-close stresses of the micro-cracks.

Assessing the Ageing Impact on Fatigue-Life of Asphalt Concrete

The fatigue-life of asphalt concrete is often related to environmental condition,loading condition,ageing,material composition and *** work investigates the influence of short and long term ageing of laboratory beam specimens,asphalt percent,and testing temperature on fatigue life of asphalt concrete wearing *** samples of(30 × 40 × 6)cm have been prepared,beam specimens of(40 × 5 × 6)cm were extracted from the asphalt concrete slab samples and tested for fatigue-life under the impact of three levels of micro strain(250,400,and[3]750)at(5,20,and 30)℃ before and after practicing long-term *** was observed that the fatigue-life decreased by(85 and 97)%,(87.5 and 97.4)%,(71.4 and 95.2)%after increasing the applied microstrain from(250 to 400 and 750)μƐfor control mixture and for mixtures subjected to shortand long-term ageing processes *** fatigue-life increased by(142.8 and 257.1)%,(34.4 and 57.8)%and(10 and 30)%when the asphalt content increased from(4.4 to 4.9 and 5.4)%for specimens practicing the applied microstrain of(250,400 and 750)μƐ*** can be concluded that the fatigue life increases by a range of(two to fifteen)folds when the testing temperature increases from(5 to 20 and 30)℃ respectively.
