＜正＞With help of nonlinear science,neural firing patterns have attracted more and more attention in the researches on neural encoding mechanism since *** and chaos,the behaviors of nonlinear differential equations to describe excitable rhythm,were employed to describe the neural firing *** complex non-periodic firing patterns were theoretically interpreted using the concept of *** spontaneous firing containing deterministic structures discovered in the experiment were suggested to be chaos if it lay in a bifurcation background,and always thought to be chaos if no bifurcation were *** resonance,a nonlinear concept,was in introduced into neuroscience in 1991,revealing that noise could play important and positive roles in neural *** was that noise could enhance the signal to noise ratio in neural signal ***,noise could induce many novel non-periodic neural firing patterns near bifurcation *** to distinguish the chaotic bursting and noise evoked stochastic bursting and identify the relationship and distinct between them,was an important question in identification of dynamics of neural firing *** spontaneous non-periodic neural rhythms lying in a bifurcation procedure,discovered in the experimental neural pacemaker,were analyzed by nonlinear time series analysis ***,similar firing patterns simulated in theoretical model were also *** of them were chaos,and others of them were stochastic *** example, integer multiple bursting and the intermittent period 1 spiking,lying between period 1 bursting and rest,were determined to be the noise induced firing patterns near supercritical and sub-critical Hopf bifurcation point *** addition, the chaotic and stochastic bursting lying between period 2 bursting and period3 bursting,and lying between period 3 and period 4 were distinguished using detection of unstable periodic ***,the chaos-like firing
