This work proposed a coupled model of diffusion. It adopted two forms of coupled movement, the interacting and non-interacting driven forms of movement of a solution particle of efavirenz concentration measured in blood plasma. Data from projected pharmacokinetics in a patient on efavirenz were used. A relationship between interacting and non-interacting diffusion was suggested through a stochastic differential equation. The solution particle with a small value of relative acceleration drift to its active neighbourhood was projected to have a corresponding high transport/interacting diffusion.

Using the coherence theory of non-stationary fields and the characterization of stochastic electromagnetic pulsed beams,the analytical expression for the spectral degree of polarization of stochastic electromagnetic Gaussian Schell-model pulsed(GSMP)beams in turbulent atmosphere is derived and is used to study the polarization properties of stochastic electromagnetic GSMP beams propagating through turbulent atmosphere.The results of numerical calculation are given to illustrate the dependence of spectral degree of polarization on the pulse frequency,refraction index structure constant and spatial correlation length.It is shown that,compared with free-space case,in turbulent atmosphere propagation there are two positions at which the on-axis spectral degree of polarization P is equal to zero.The position change depends on the pulse frequency,refraction index structure constant and spatial correlation length.

We address the possibility of the classical Zeno effect in classical stochastic processes as sampled by transferring a digitized image through a classical channel with surrounding noise.It is shown that the the classical state of the image decays inevitably with the distance of the channel due to the interference of the surroundings.However,if there are enough repeaters,which can both check and recover the state’s information,the classical state’s decay rate will be significantly suppressed,then a classical Zeno effect might occur.

Real-time electricity price( RTEP) influence factor extraction is essential to forecasting accurate power system electricity prices. At present,new electricity price forecasting models have been studied to improve predictive accuracy,ignoring the extraction and analysis of RTEP influence factors. In this study,a correlation analysis method is proposed based on stochastic matrix theory.Firstly, an augmented matrix is formulated, including RTEP influence factor data and RTEP state data. Secondly, data correlation analysis results are obtained given the statistical characteristics of source data based on stochastic matrix theory.Mean spectral radius( MSR) is used as the measure of correlativity.Finally,the proposed method is evaluated in New England electricity markets and compared with the BP neural network forecasting method. Experimental results show that the extracted index system comprehensively generalizes RTEP influence factors,which play a significant role in improving RTEP forecasting accuracy.

Background:Significant efforts have been made to identify modifiable risk factors of non-contact anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) injuries in male and female athletes.However,current literature on the risk factors for ACL injury are purely descriptive.An understanding of biomechanical relationship between risk and risk factors of the non-contact ACL injury is necessary to develop effective prevention programs. Purpose:To compare lower extremity kinematics and kinetics between trials with and without non-contact ACL injuries and to determine if any difference exists between male and female trials with non-contact ACL injuries regarding the lower extremity motion patterns. Methods:In this computer simulation study,a stochastic biomechanical model was used to estimate the ACL loading at the time of peak posterior ground reaction force(GRF) during landing of the stop-jump task.Monte Carlo simulations were performed to simulate the ACL injuries with repeated random samples of independent variables.The distributions of independent variables were determined from in vivo laboratory data of 40 male and 40 female recreational athletes. Results:In the simulated injured trials,both male and female athletes had significantly smaller knee flexion angles,greater normalized peak posterior and vertical GRF.greater knee valgus moment,greater patella tendon force,greater quadriceps force,greater knee extension moment. and greater proximal tibia anterior shear force in comparison to the simulated uninjured trials.No significant difference was found between genders in any of the selected biomechanical variables in the trials with simulated non-contact ACL injuries. Conclusion:Small knee flexion angle,large posterior GRF.and large knee valgus moment are risk factors of non-contact ACL injury determined by a stochastic biomechanical model with a cause-and-effect relationship.

The GRAPES-TCM is used to make ensemble prediction experiments for typhoon track.Three kinds of ensemble schemes are designed for the experiments.A total of 109 experiments are made for the nine typhoons in 2011 and the integral time is 72 h.The experiment results are shown as follows.In the three ensemble schemes,on the whole,scheme 1 has the best track prediction.Its average absolute track error and overall deviations of typhoon moving speed and moving direction are all the smallest in the three schemes.For both scheme 1 and scheme 2,they are all smaller than those of their control predictions.Both of their ensemble predictions show superiority to their deterministic predictions.Overall,compared with the observations,the typhoon moving directions of the three schemes mainly skew to the right,and in the late integration they mainly tend to be relatively slow.In the three schemes,the track dispersion of scheme 1 is the largest and that of scheme 3 the smallest.In scheme 1 it is much larger than in schemes 2 and 3.The difference of dispersion between scheme 2 and scheme 3 is small.The track dispersions of the three schemes are all much smaller than their rational dispersions.Compared with the eight domestic and overseas operational numerical weather prediction(NWP) models,scheme 1 has better predictions than the other seven operational models except ECMWF NWP model.Scheme 1 has the value of operational application.

Multiplicatively introducing the noise and the signal into the gain-noise model of a single-mode laser system, we detect the two forms of stochastic resonance (the single-peak form stochastic resonance and stochastic multiresonance) in the curve of the dependence of signal-to-noise ratio upon the noise correlation time. Moreover, when the correlation coefficient and the intensities of both noises are changed, the two forms of stochastic resonance alternate.

With dynamic reliability problems of stochastic parameters,supercavity vehicle is subject to impact loads.The supercavity vehicle is modeled by using eight-node super-parametric shell elements.The tail impact loads of supercavity vehicle structures are simplified into two stationary random processes with a certain phase difference,and the random excitations are transformed into sinusoidal ones in terms of the pseudo excitation method.The stress response of stochastic structure can be obtained through combining Newmark method with pseudo excitation perturbation method,and then all required digital features for dynamic reliability of supercavity vehicle have be calculated.The expressions of the mean value and the variance of dynamic reliability of supercavity vehicle with stochastic parameters are educed on the basis of the Poisson formula of calculating dynamic reliability.Finally,the influence of the randomness of structural parameters on the dynamic reliability is analyzed.And the feasibility and availability of this method were validated by comparing with the Monte Carlo method.
