The Open Flow implementations(SDNs) have been deployed increasingly on varieties of networks in research institutions as well as commercial institutions. To develop an Open Flow implementation, it is required to understand the performance of the network. A few benchmark tools(e.g., Cbench and OFlops) can be used to measure the network performance, while these tools take considerable time to simulate traffic behaviors and generate the required results,therefore extending the development time. In this paper, we present an analytical model, which is based on stochastic network calculus theory, for evaluating the performance of switch to controller.The previous studies show that stochastic network calculus can provide realistic emulation of real network traffic behaviors. Our model is evaluated by using both simulation tool and realistic testbed.The results show the stochastic network calculus based analysis model can realistically measure the network performance of the end-to-end properties between controller and switch.

Dear Editor,This letter addresses the synchronization problem of a class of delayed stochastic complex dynamical networks consisting of multiple drive and response nodes.The aim is to achieve mean square exponential synchronization for the drive-response nodes despite the simultaneous presence of time delays and stochastic noises in node dynamics.

In this paper, a multi-stage stochastic model is presented for a renewable distributed generation(RDG)-owning retailer to determine the trading strategies existing in a competitive electricity market. Uncertainties associated with wholesale electricity market price, clients' consumption and power output of wind resources are considered through auto regressive integrated moving average(ARIMA) approach. In the proposed method, three trading floors are addressed for the retailer to hedge against the uncertainties. In the first stage, the retailer participates in day-ahead market to supply the clients and in the second stage, intraday market is addressed to allow the retailer to modify the schedule of its clients' consumption/RDG production. Due to unfavorable uncertainties, especially in renewable power production, real-time market is considered in the third stage to diminish the uncertainty at power delivery time. Cost function of wind resources considering capital, operation and maintenance(O&M) cost is incorporated in the objective function to increase the applicability of the mechanism. The proposed approach is formulated for risk-averse and risk-taker retailer through conditional value at risk(CVaR) approach. In order to study the impact of retail strategies on consumption patternand consumers' electricity bills, time-of-use(TOU)demand response programs are discussed in this paper.Formulating the problem, the mixed integer non-linear programming(MILNP) problem is transformed into mixed integer linear programming(MILP) by jointly using decomposition and disjunctive constraints. Finally, a case study containing wind power resources, energy storage system and retailer is considered to analyze the proficiency of the proposed approach.

The Allan variance analysis method is used to identify the stochastic noise in the stray current sensor. The stray current characteristic is firstly introduced. Then the optical configuration and the signal processing method of the stray current sensor are illustrated. Moreover, the cause of the stochastic noise in the stray current sensor is analyzed. The calculation method of the stochastic noise coefficient is presented in detail. And the feasibility of the stochastic noise identification with the Allan variance analysis method is evaluated. Furthermore, the zero-drift signal acquisition experiment is conducted to identify the stochastic noise in the stray current sensor. According to the experimental result, the bias instability noise, the quantization noise and the white noise are identified as the major stochastic noise. Finally, the experiment on the direct-current signal acquisitions is conducted, whose results indicate that the signal drift of the measured direct-current is mainly caused by the major stochastic noise. And the suppression methods of the major stochastic noise are proposed.

stochastic analytic continuation is an excellent numerical method for analytically continuing Green’s functions from imaginary frequencies to real frequencies,although it requires significantly more computational time than the traditional MaxEnt method.We develop an alternate implementation of stochastic analytic continuation which expands the dimensionless field𝑜n(x)introduced by Beach using orthogonal polynomials.We use the kernel polynomial method(KPM)to control the Gibbs oscillations associated with truncation of the expansion in orthogonal polynomials.Our KPM variant of stochastic analytic continuation delivers improved precision at a significantly reduced computational cost.

In this paper,we are concerned with the existence and uniqueness of mild solution for a class of nonlinear fractional Sobolev-type stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter HG(l/2,l)in Hilbert space.We obtain the required result by using semigroup theory,stochastic analysis principle,fractional calculus and Picard iteration techniques with some non-Lipschitz conditions.

Invariant manifolds are complicate random sets useful for describing and understanding the qualitative behavior of nonlinear dynamical systems.The purpose of the present paper is try to approximate smooth stable invariant manifolds for a type of stochastic partial differential equations with multiplicative white noise near the fixed point.Two examples are given to illustrate our results.

Many applications requiring both spectral and spatial information at high resolution benefit from spectral imaging.Although different technical methods have been developed and commercially available,computational spectral cameras represent a compact,lightweight,and inexpensive solution.However,the tradeoff between spatial and spectral resolutions,dominated by the limited data volume and environmental noise,limits the potential of these cameras.In this study,we developed a deeply learned broadband encoding stochastic hyperspectral camera.In particular,using advanced artificial intelligenee in filter design and spectrum reconstruction,we achieved 7000-11,000 times faster signal processing and〜10 times improvement regarding noise toleranee.These improvements enabled us to precisely and dynamically reconstruct the spectra of the entire field of view,previously unreachable with compact computational spectral cameras.

We describe a single level quantum dot driven by an external stochastic force which works as a nano-thermoelectric refrigerator. Based on the model, expressions for the cooling rate, power input, and coefficient of performance (COP) are derived. The effects of the energy level and energy space on the refrigerator are revealed. The optimal performance characteristics are analyzed by numerical calculation. Furthermore, the practical operating regions of the refrigerator are determined.
