stochastic iterative learning control(ILC) is designed for solving the tracking problem of stochastic linear systems through fading channels. Consequently, the signals used in learning control algorithms are faded in the sense that a random variable is multiplied by the original signal. To achieve the tracking objective, a two-dimensional Kalman filtering method is used in this study to derive a learning gain matrix varying along both time and iteration axes. The learning gain matrix minimizes the trace of input error covariance. The asymptotic convergence of the generated input sequence to the desired input value is strictly proved in the mean-square sense. Both output and input fading are accounted for separately in turn, followed by a general formulation that both input and output fading coexists.Illustrative examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.

This paper develops a stochastic framework for the energy management of a microgrid to minimize the energy cost from the grid.It considers the uncertainties in solar photovoltaic(PV)generation,load demand,and electricity price.Furthermore,the opportunity of flexible load demand,i.e.,the effect of demand response(DR),on the test system is studied.The uncertainties are modeled by using Monte Carlo simulations and the generated scenarios are reduced to improve the computational tractability.In general,microgrid scheduling is implemented by using substation(source node)price as a reference,but that reference price is not the same at all nodes.Therefore,this paper develops the nodal price based energy management in a microgrid to improve the scheduling accuracy.The stochastic energy management framework is formulated as a mixed integer non-linear programming(MINLP).Four case studies are simulated for a modified 15-node radial distribution network integrated with solar PV and battery energy storage system(BESS)to validate the effectiveness of the energy management framework for a microgrid with nodal pricing.

A stochastic averaging method for predicting the response of quasi partially integrable and non-resonant Hamiltoniansystems to fractional Gaussian noise （fGla） with the Hurst index 1/2〈H〈l is proposed. The averaged stochastic differential equa-tions （SDEs） for the first integrals of the associated Hamiltonian system are derived. The dimension of averaged SDEs is less thanthat of the original system. The stationary probability density and statistics of the original system are obtained approximately fromsolving the averaged SDEs numerically. Two systems are worked out to illustrate the proposed stochastic averaging method. It isshown that the results obtained by using the proposed stochastic averaging method and those from digital simulation of originalsystem agree well, and the computational time for the former results is less than that for the latter ones.

Dear Editor,This letter considers the finite-time stability(FTS)problem of generalized impulsive stochastic nonlinear systems(ISNS).By employing the stochastic Lyapunov and impulsive control approach,some novel criteria on FTS are presented,where both situations of stabilizing and destabilizing impulses are considered.Furthermore,new impulse-dependent estimation strategies of stochastic settling time(SST)are proposed.

In this paper,a deterministic and stochastic fractional-order model of the tri-trophic food chain model incorporating harvesting is proposed and analysed.The interaction between prey,middle predator and top predator population is investigated.In order to clarify the characteristics of the proposed model,the analysis of existence,uniqueness,non-negativity and boundedness of the solutions of the proposed model are examined.Some sufficient conditions that ensure the local and global stability of equilibrium points are obtained.By using stability analysis of the fractional-order system,it is proved that if the basic reproduction number R_(0)stochastic fractional-order model.

In this paper,a deterministic and stochastic fractional order model for lesser date moth(LDM)using mating disruption and natural enemies is proposed and analysed.The interaction between LDM larvae,fertilized LDM female,unfertilized LDM female,LDM male and the natural enemy is investigated.In order to clarify the characteristics of the proposed deterministic fractional order model,the analysis of existence,uniqueness,non-negativity and boundedness of the solutions of the proposed fractional-order model are examined.In addition,some sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the local and global stability of equilibrium points.The occurrence of local bifurcation near the equilibrium points is investigated with the help of Sotomayor’s theorem.Numerical simulations are conducted to illustrate the properties of the proposed fractional order model with respect to the intrinsic growth rate of the LDM larvae,natural enemy’s mortality rate,predation rate,sex pheromone trap parameter,fractional order and environmental noise.The impact of mating disruption on lesser date moth is demonstrated.Also,a numerical approximation method is developed for the proposed stochastic fractional-order model.

stochastic heat conduction and thermal stress analysis of structures has received considerable attention in recent years.The propagation of uncertain thermal environments will lead to stochastic variations in temperature fields and thermal stresses.Therefore,it is reasonable to consider the variability of thermal environments while conducting thermal analysis.However,for ambient thermal excitations,only stationary random processes have been investigated thus far.In this study,the highly efficient explicit time-domain method(ETDM)is proposed for the analysis of non-stationary stochastic transient heat conduction and thermal stress problems.The explicit time-domain expressions of thermal responses are first constructed for a thermoelastic body.Then the statistical moments of thermal displacements and stresses can be directly obtained based on the explicit expressions of thermal responses.A numerical example involving non-stationary stochastic internal heat generation rate is investigated.The accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method are validated by comparison with the Monte-Carlo simulation.

Based on a generalized Langevin equation,we consider a full general relativistic model to describe the vertical oscillations of particles in accretion disks around compact astrophysical objects,and calculate oscillating lumi-nosity and power spectral density(PSD)of an accretion disk.The influences of the friction parameter𝜂,spin parameter𝑏α,and mass𝑁of the center compact object on the stochastic resonance(SR)in PSD curves are discussed.The results show that a large spin parameter𝑏α,can enhance the SR phenomenon,but the larger the𝜂ζor M𝑁is,the weaker the SR phenomenon becomes.In addition,our simulated PSD curves of the output luminosity of stochastically oscillating disk have the same profile as the observed PSD of x-ray binaries,and the resonance peak in the PSD curve can interpret the quasi-periodic oscillations at the same time.
