Meteorological satellite stakeholder relationship network based on social network analysis

The meteorological satellite service range is extensive,and science and technology and related industries have become beneficiaries of *** complex meteorological satellite stakeholder relationship warrants quantitative *** study investigates the meteorological satellite stakeholder relationship network to provide a new research perspective for meteorological satellites in the field of *** literature analysis,16 meteorological satellite stakeholders are identified through keyword screening,classified,and coded.A meteorological satellite stakeholder relationship network model is then constructed through social network analysis(SNA).Ego,local,and overall networks are analyzed from three perspectives to measure the network principle and to form a relationship network coordination degree evaluation *** improved analytic hierarchy process(AHP)-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is then used to determine index weights and evaluate the relationship network coordination process design *** empirical analysis,data for the meteorological satellite Fengyun-4 are obtained through questionnaire survey and literature ***6 is used to generate relationship networks and analyze various stakeholder roles and status,stakeholder relationship network coordination degree,and evaluation *** results demonstrate that the competent meteorological satellite department,the meteorological administration,the National Meteorological Centre,and the government are in the center of the Fengyun-4 stakeholder relationship network,with coordination degree in an“average”***,establishing a stakeholder coordination mechanism may strengthen connection and promote the development of meteorological undertakings.

stakeholder demands and corporate social responsibility:Evidence from the Olympic Games

We propose that stakeholder demand can explain firms’corporate social responsibility(CSR)activities and empirically test our proposition using 2002–2016 panel data from multiple *** select the Olympic Games as our experimental context and use a difference-in-differences *** find that firms domiciled in countries that host the Olympic Games subsequently experience a significantly smaller increase in CSR commitment than firms in countries that unsuccessfully bid to host the *** also find that firms domiciled in cities that host the Olympic Games exhibit a significantly smaller increase in CSR than those domiciled in other cities in the same *** tests indicate that firms in host countries with greater increases in the levels of happiness tend to experience an even smaller increase in *** findings are consistent with the stakeholder demand explanation,as stakeholders are less likely to require local firms to invest in CSR if utilities,such as those from environmental improvement,increase.

stakeholder Participation in Project Planning: Prerequisite to Effective Completion of Urban Road Transport Infrastructure Projects in Kenya

stakeholder involvement in the project planning process should include a variety of actors with different roles and responsibilities at the planning phase of the project life cycle. Failure to adequately plan greatly reduces the project’s chances of successfully accomplishing its goals. The objective of this study was to determine the influence of stakeholder participation in project planning on the completion of urban road transport-infrastructure projects in Kenya. Pragmatic research paradigm was utilized for this study to facilitate mixed research methods. The study adopted descriptive survey and correlational research design. The target population was 1593. A sample size of 309 respondents was drawn utilizing purposive and simple random sampling procedures. A five point Likert type scale questionnaire was used to collect quantitative data while interview guides were used to collect qualitative data. The study found that stakeholder participation in project planning had a positive and significant influence on the completion of urban road transport infrastructure projects in Kenya (r = 0.838, R2 = 0.703, F (4, 209) = 123.43, p 2 = 0.703 indicating that stakeholder participation in project planning explains 70.3% of the variations in the completion of urban road transport infrastructure projects in Kenya. The study concluded that stakeholder participation in project planning significantly influences completion of urban road transport-infrastructure projects in Kenya. The study recommends the need to increase training and awareness on participation in project planning. The study also recommends the need to develop a guiding policy document detailing the importance of stakeholder participation in road construction life cycle in order to curb any future misgivings in implementation of these important socio-economic projects.

The Design and Study on CEO Financial Monitoring Index System Based on stakeholder Theory

This paper summarizes the current financial monitoring theory and the design of index system, analyzes the possible monitoring indexes relative to stakeholders to achieve their own interests, and then categorizes these indexes into five aspects： the finance, the customer, the process, the employee and the society. After a deep analysis of these indexes, we use the Analytic Hierarchy Process to conform the weight of every index, subsequently build up an effective financial monitoring index system.

The “vicious circle” between poverty and environmental deterioration is a major challenge for those developmental approaches which look to improve the welfare of vulnerable communities. Environmental deterioration increases poverty while, at the same time, poverty causes further environmental deterioration as the business activities which communities depend upon for survival aggravate environmental deterioration by causing pollution and waste. It is therefore necessary that firms and communities collaborate in order to develop innovative solutions to break this vicious circle. This paper argues that such collaboration should be based on genuine stakeholders’ integration and entrepreneurship, proposes a holistic framework to guide business intervention strategies, and further explores collaboration scenarios between firms and communities.

The system of stakeholders impacting water heater selection decisions in the *** complex,with numerous actors and key players engaging with varying degrees of information *** limited availability of decision-making tools could lead to unintended consequences of water and energy saving decisions on public health,such as the growth of opportunistic pathogens in water *** use a qualitative meta-synthesis to identify key stakeholders,map interactions among these stakeholders,identify decisions,roles,and influences,and inventory potential *** study identifies and characterizes the important attributes of the residential water heater stakeholder system(leverage points)that influence the selec-tion of water heating *** ultimate desired outcome of the work is to facilitate the selection of water heating components and design configurations that meet occupant objectives and constraints while limiting the potential for health and safety risks due to scalding or opportunistic *** effort identifies a clear need for decision-making support tools for selecting residential water heaters,one that takes a whole-systems perspective in the water heater stakeholder system and takes advantage of key leverage points for effective intervention.
