This paper describes the important application of variable structure control (VSC) theory on induction motor (IM) decoupling control system. A design scheme using singular system variable structure control method for a decoupling IM system is presented. The scheme is shown to be robust to parametric variations and external disturbances. Simulation results show the stability and effectiveness of the proposed scheme

Requirements are investigated in this paper for each descriptor form subsystem, with which a causal/impulse free networked dynamic system(NDS) can be constructed. For this purpose, a matrix rank-based necessary and sufficient condition is at first derived for the causality/impulse freeness of an NDS,with the matrix depending affinely on subsystem connections. From this result, a necessary and sufficient condition is derived on each subsystem for causal/impulse free NDS constructibility. This condition further leads to a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a local static output feedback that guarantees the construction of a causal/impulse free NDS. Remarkably, all the numerical computations involved in these conditions are performed independently on each individual subsystem. Situations have also been clarified in which NDS causality/impulse freeness is independent of subsystem connections. It has also been made clear that local static output feedbacks may not be helpful in constructing a causal NDS.

Noether theorems for two fractional singular systems are discussed.One system involves mixed integer and Caputo fractional derivatives,and the other involves only Caputo fractional derivatives.Firstly,the fractional primary constraints and the fractional constrained Hamilton equations are given.Then,the fractional Noether theorems of the two fractional singular systems are established,including the fractional Noether identities,the fractional Noether quasi-identities and the fractional conserved quantities.Finally,the results obtained are illustrated by two examples.

＜正＞Designing of sliding mode variable structure controller for linear discrete uncertain time-delay singular system is studied.Firstly,a new restricted system equivalent form is developed and the system is decomposed into two low dimensional subsystems:one is a difference system without input;the other is a difference system with input.Secondly, under assumption that structural perturbation matrices are bounded,switching function with difference compensator is designed,which guarantee the system is asymptotically stable in quasi-switching manifold.Thirdly,sliding mode variable structure controller is designed,which can force solution trajectory of the system to enter into a small neighborhood of the quasi-switching manifold in finite steps and to converge to a small chattering in the neighborhood ultimately. Finally,a numerical example is given to demonstrate feasibility and simplicity of the design method.

＜正＞Synthesis and designing of variable structure controller for time-variant linear time-delay singular system is studied.Firstly,a new restricted system equivalent form is developed and the system is decomposed into two low dimensional subsystems.Secondly,switching function with integral compensator is designed and sufficient conditions on asymptotic stability of the sliding mode are given.Thirdly,variable structure controller is designed,which guarantee the solution trajectory of the system arrive at the slide manifold in finite time.Finally,a numerical example is given to demonstrate feasibility and simplicity of the design method.

Networked impulsive controller is designed for a class of nonlinear singular time-delay system based on data dropouts. First,the mathematic model of nonlinear singular time-delay networked impulsive control system is established.Then,according to the Lyapunov stability theory,the design method of networked impulsive controller is proposed via data dropouts considering the stability of the continuous interval and impulsive instant,respectively.Using the given networked impulsive controller, exponential stability of nonlinear singular time-delay system can be ensured based on packet dropouts.Finally,Lorentz system is illustrated to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller design methods.

In this paper, the problem of H∞ nonlinear stochastic stability analysis for a class singular systems with Markovian jumping parameters and time-varying delay is addressed. The discrete delay is assumed to be time-varying and belong to a given interval. Based on LMIs（linear matrix inequality） approach, a delay depended condition is proposed, which ensure the singular system is stochastically stable with H∞ performance. An examples is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

The H filtering design problem is studied for a class of networked discrete-time nonlinear singular system.Both mixed random delays and packet dropouts in the communication channels are considered.The mixed time-delays consists of the discrete and distributed delays.And the packet dropout phenomenon occurs in a random way.Three mutually independent Bernoulli distributed random variables are utilized to model the stochastic phenomena.By using the Lyapunov-Kravoskii stability approach,sufficient conditions are presented to guarantee the closed-loop filter error system is regular,causal and stable with a certain H performance index.And the H filtering design method is provided.An illustrative example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed filter design method.
