The singularly perturbed boundary value problem for nonlinear higher order ordinary differential equation involving two small parameters has been considered. Under appropriate assumptions, for the three cases： ε/μ^2→0 （μ →0）, μ^2/ε →0 （ε → 0） andε = μ^2, the uniformly valid asymptotic solution is obtained by using the expansion method of two small parameters and the theory of differential inequality.

A nonlinear reaction diffusion equations for activator inhibitor systems is considered. Under suitable conditions, firstly, the outer solution of the original problem is obtained, secondly, using the variables of multiple scales and the expanding theory of power series the formal asymptotic expansions of the solution are constructed, and finally, using the theory of differential inequalities the uniform validity and asymptotic behavior of the solution are studied.

In this work, a new model reduction technique is introduced. The proposed technique is derived using the matrix reducibility concept. The eigenvalues of the reduced model are preserved; that is, the reduced model eigenvalues are a subset of the full order model eigenvalues. This preservation of the eigenvalues makes the mathematical model closer to the physical model. Finally, the outcomes of this method are fully illustrated using simulations of two numeric examples.
