This paper treats the chaos synchronization problem of chaotic Lu system via single variable information of the master *** cascade-connection system,the derived controller is featured as follows:(a)onlysingle variable information of the master system is needed to transmit to slave system for synchronization;(b)the pre-knowledge of upper bound of the trajectory of the master system is eliminated;(c)the controller is linear ***,the effectiveness of the proposed control law is also illustrated by the numerical simulation on Matlab environment as well as rigorous mathematical proof.

This paper proposes a new element-based multi-material topology optimization algorithm using a single variable for minimizing compliance subject to a mass constraint.A single variable based on the normalized elemental density is used to overcome the occurrence of meaningless design variables and save computational *** from the traditional material penalization scheme,the algorithm is established on the ordered ersatz material model,which linearly interpolates Young’s modulus for relaxed design *** achieve a multi-material design,the multiple floating projection constraints are adopted to gradually push elemental design variables to multiple discrete *** the convergent element-based solution,the multiple level-set functions are constructed to tentatively extract the smooth interface between two adjacent *** 2D and 3D numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and the possible advantage of the multi-material designs over the traditional solid-void designs.

Mathematically modeling the main dimensions of self-elevating drilling units

The present status of self-elevating drilling units was analysed. Based on statistics of the main dimensions of self-elevating drilling units, a mathematical model was established using stepwise return procedures and a back-propagation neural network. mathematical model is applicable and reliable. The of the main dimensions of self-elevating drilling Analysis of examples of calculations showed that the model is useful for mastering the essential variations units and can be used for technical and economic analysis as well as in conceptual designs of drilling units.
